Seeing Jingliu's confidence, Luocha didn't say anything more. Although the intel he'd gathered included rumors that Fu Zhu had gone several rounds with that Annihilation Gang Lord and was by no means weak, he had also been working with Jingliu for a long time. He was quite familiar with her past.
The former Sword Champion of the Luofu. Her battle record was public knowledge.
He figured that no matter how strong Fu Zhu was, Jingliu should be able to handle him. Besides, their goal wasn't to capture or defeat Fu Zhu, but simply to "borrow" the Stellaron from him. That task was much, much easier than the other two.
"Luocha, do you have Fu Zhu's location?"
"One moment."
Luocha took out his phone, logged into a well-known Luofu social media site, and began to search for something.
Jingliu, sitting opposite him, heard the constant tapping of Luocha's phone and tilted her head in confusion. "Who are you messaging?"
"Not at all. I'm simply helping you find their location."
This statement confused Jingliu even more. She had been away from the Luofu for a long time. Since when could the Luofu's network pinpoint a specific person's location like that?
Even if it could, wouldn't such a function be illegal? Had the Luofu's laws decayed to such an extent?
As Jingliu pondered this, she couldn't resist hooking a finger under the silk covering her eyes and pulling a corner of it down, revealing half an eye to glance at Luocha.
Luocha noticed Jingliu's gaze. Seeing her rare display of curiosity, he turned his phone screen around for her to see.
"This is a social media website. According to my information, among the group of Nameless who landed on the Luofu, there are two women. One of them is an avid photographer and frequently logs onto this very social media site to ask netizens about classic photo spots on the Luofu."
"Subsequently, because of what the Nameless did on the Luofu, they became quite famous. The account of that photo-loving Nameless was dug up by netizens. After that, she stopped asking for recommendations and just shared photos of the scenery she took. And, well, she just happened to post an update today."
After hearing Luocha's report, Jingliu couldn't help but marvel.
"You're a doctor, yet your information network is so thorough."
"You mustn't underestimate my information network," Luocha said with a small joke before putting his phone away.
"Found it. Ten minutes ago, that female Nameless shared a streetscape photo on the site. It happens to be near this very street. We can go over and take a look. Even if that female Nameless is alone, we can pose as fans and ask her about Fu Zhu's whereabouts."
"Agreed."
Jingliu nodded. She and Luocha stood up, settled the bill, and left the teahouse, heading towards the location where March 7th had been ten minutes prior.
On another street, Fu Zhu and March 7th were walking and eating. If they saw a beautiful view, the two would stop to take a picture.
As the two passed by a pavilion, Fu Zhu inadvertently glanced inside and saw a chair that looked remarkably similar to the white plastic chairs found at outdoor food stalls in his previous life.
Instantly, Fu Zhu was rooted to the spot.
March 7th hadn't noticed, still holding Fu Zhu's hand as she walked forward. It was only after a few steps that she realized Fu Zhu was stuck in place like a boulder, and she couldn't pull him along no matter how hard she tried.
"What's wrong?"
March 7th turned her head and saw Fu Zhu's eyes sparkling as he stared at the white plastic chair in the pavilion. He looked just like a child who had spotted his favorite toy in a supermarket, clinging to his mother's hand and refusing to budge.
March 7th pointed hesitantly at the white plastic chair in the pavilion. "You have your eye on that chair?"
Fu Zhu nodded his head furiously. If he hadn't seen this white plastic chair, or if he didn't have his SlashBlade, he wouldn't have thought much of it.
But now, both conditions had been met!
"March, help me take a picture!"
Fu Zhu immediately pulled the Demon Blade "Hiruko" from his inventory and held it in his hand. He then dashed into the pavilion, sat down on the white plastic chair, casually hung the Demon Blade "Hiruko" to the side, and leaned back against the chair, his back facing March 7th.
"This plastic chair doesn't really match the scenery..."
March 7th muttered to herself for a moment but still took out her camera, aimed it at Fu Zhu, and began to adjust the angle.
Just as March 7th was about to press the shutter button, two footsteps sounded from behind her.
March 7th turned her head in confusion and saw Luocha and Jingliu walking over together.
At first, March 7th thought they were just passersby, but then she saw Jingliu flip her wrist. A blade of ice materialized in her hand as she strode towards Fu Zhu.
"Wait, who are you?"
March 7th sensed that something was wrong and quickly moved to block her, but she was stopped by Luocha.
Compared to the cold and silent Jingliu, Luocha seemed much more polite.
He first gave March 7th an apologetic smile, then said regretfully, "My apologies, miss. I cannot let you pass. But please rest assured, neither of you is in any mortal danger. We simply wish to borrow something from you two."
March 7th frowned, tucked her camera back into her waist pouch, and summoned her longbow. She drew the bowstring taut, and an arrow of ice materialized, aimed right at Luocha's head.
"This is the last time I'm asking. Who are you? What do you want!"
Even with an arrow aimed at his forehead, Luocha maintained his gentle smile.
"I am Luocha, a wandering merchant."
"Hah, do you take me for a fool? What would a wandering merchant want with us, and why would he need a sword to borrow something!"
"Every word I've spoken is true. It is understandable that you do not believe me, miss, but I truly cannot let you pass right now."
"Hmph!"
March 7th released the bowstring, and the arrow shot straight for Luocha's face.
Luocha immediately dodged, drawing his own sword to engage March 7th in combat.
On the other side, Jingliu, sword in hand, had walked up behind Fu Zhu. Just as Fu Zhu was about to stand up, he heard Jingliu's voice.
"You are Fu Zhu? Give me the Stellaron."
The moment he heard that, although he didn't know who the other party was, the slightly familiar line made Fu Zhu sit back down, still holding his original pose.
"I don't know who you are, but if you want the Stellaron, you'll have to come and get it yourself. You should know the rules."
