Luna is walking towards the entrance door when someone calls her from behind. When she turns around she sees Max waxing his hand endlessly while a big smile on his face. She stops walking and waits till Max reaches her.
"What are you doing here?"
"Just here to see a friend. Checking for something." he replied while catching his breath. "Are you working here?" he added and she just nodded. The two continue to walk until Luna reaches her office.
"This is my office. What department were you headed?" she curiously asked.
Before Max answered her question he saw Braxston entering his office. He shouted his name casually trying to get his attention. Luna just looks at them back and forth trying to understand what's going on.
"Brax!!! I'm here!" Max called upon him.
Braxston shifts his attention to them and walks towards their direction. He saw Luna full of confusion on her face but he just ignored it. He also feels a little irritated but he does not know the reason behind it.
"My office is in there. Why are you here?"
"Luna, is my friend. I never expected to see her here. Just stopping by before going to your office."
"Oh! I see. I also never thought you could be friends with her. Anyway, let's go to my office and discuss your proposal."
"I'll see you later." Max said with a big smile on his face, while Luna just stayed silent and nodded. Looking at them going to Braxston office and then she enters her office.
Luna just continued trying to solve the case while Maise helped her. They're both trying to see any clue as possible before the President complains that they made no progress. They also check the other expenses under the name of Braxston trying to see if there are patterns in his movement. Maise also photocopy the bankbook to check every withdrawal made, since the original copy should be returned to the cashier.
During lunch time they only eat as fast as they could since Maise will go undertime because she's going to her dental check up. Maise compile all the documents on one folder so we could easily check it later. On the other hand, Luna is trying to trace the transaction one by one since one entry is interconnected to one another. Few minutes after Maise left the office, Braxston's girlfriend passed by in front of her office , with excitement on her face. After Braxston girlfriend enter his office she goes back to her work.
Knock.
Luna, interrupted by a knock. When she looked up, she saw Max, Braxston and his girlfriend, standing in front of her office. She immediately go to the door and open them.
"Hey. We just want to invite you for dinner?" Max said.
"You should come and join us." Braxston's girlfriend added.
Braxston did not say a word about it but he just looked at Luna emotionless. Max suddenly grab the hand of Luna, trying to BEG her to join them.
"If you insist then I guess I'll go. Let me pack my stuff first." Luna grab her bag and turn off the computer and they headed to the restaurant.
