At this moment a female neighbor in her middle years walked towards Sena and asked her, "What brings you to this neighborhood, girl? Are you looking for someone?"
"Auntie Merry, this is me, Sena." Sena said with a smile but deep inside her, she felt annoyed talking to her. With left no choice but to socialize to the gossipy woman in front of her. She silently lit a candle for herself. What luck I'm having! Madam Gossipy is here. She always spread some bad and exaggerating rumors about me, I hate her. She's annoying and mean.
"What!! Are you joking with me? You're nothing like her!" Auntie Merry said with unbelief in her voice and it was so loud that other neighbors heard it.
"Auntie Merry, are you blind? I just dyed my hair and I am just wearing contact lenses. You can't even recognize me, Auntie, you need glasses. By the way, my look is trending nowadays. I'm going home now, bye~bye. I'm exhausted doing that roleplay for our project, in addition to the road accident I encountered, my body and mind are so exhausted. Thank goodness the government offered us, a ride home." After she said that, Sena hurriedly walked away from the gossipy neighbor.
Auntie Merry wanted to ask more but Sena already walked far.
While walking towards her house, Sena was stopped by her curious distant blood related, Aunt Mela. Who was standing outside of her house.
"Sena is that you? What happened to you? Your hair used to be black, but now it's white." Aunt Mela asked with curiosity.
Finally, a person who recognize me, Auntie Merry is really blind. Sena thought and said,"It's for our project, Auntie, a roleplay. Since, I'm the witch of the story, the villain.I should wear a unique color. Auntie, I should get going, I'm exhausted, Mother must be worried sick, See you later."
Then, she, hurriedly walked leaving no chance for her aunt to ask more questions.
As she is getting nearer and nearer.
Her heart is pounding with excitement, despite the bitterness she experienced in her own house due to her family issues, she still longs to be home.
Seeing the familiar Mediterranean villa she lived in after her father's burial, she felt emotional.
Then she saw her Mother standing behind their gate. Her black eyes were full of worry and her black hair styled in a bun was messier than usual.
The two hugged and went inside their house. In the living room, the Mother and daughter stood near, the large windows, chatting with each other.
"I heard there's a huge car accident on the main road. I'm so nervous that I had a premonition that you're in it." Her mother said worriedly. Sena did not utter a word but nodded in response.
Her Mother looked at her from top to bottom to see, if she had severe injuries and then said in relief, "Thank goodness, no severe injuries."
"I'm fine Mom, don't worry. If I had a major injuries, I wouldn't be here right now, I would be in the hospital." Sena said with confidence and she looked around the living room, "Mom, where's big brothers, at this time of hour they should be laying there on the sofa lazily." Then she suddenly remembered. Oh, it's still monday and they should be in their workplace.
"My Dear Lia, have you forgotten?" Her mother replied.
"Quite a bit and there's a huge thing going on worldwide I bet they should be heading home by now." Sena said
"Perhaps, let's just wait for them." Her mother patted her head and suddenly said, "What happened, Is this still part of the accident?!"
"How did you know?" Sena asked with surprise.
"My dear, your school is very strict. Even if it's for a project, they wouldn't let a student dye their hair. Moreover, I feel that the phenomenon that's been happening worldwide doesn't seem to be normal." Her Mother said with an uneasy feeling.
Yeah, and I experience things that don't seem to be normal, a while ago. Sena thought and then she asked her mother, "Mom, do you feel something strange about yourself like having a superpower?"
"I think so?" Her Mother replied with uncertainty but then she spoke with a firm tone, "I, without a doubt have a superpower."
"What! for real?!" Sena said in shocked as she couldn't believe her Mother had a superpower despite not experiencing a road accident or having close contact with a meteorite.
She fell into slight confusion about why her Mother possessed a superpower, but then she suddenly remembered a novel plot that mirrored her current reality. Like the plots in some novels, one doesn't need to experience some kind of accident or a close contact, to have a superpower. It just need to spread through air. However, not everyone will awaken their superpower, just like me, who even had close contact with something seems unreal didn't even awaken a superpower and I think, it will just depend on luck, if I ever awaken my superpower, maybe one day or never.
"Yes, My dear. I can see a thing or someone future by touching or holding them however only a little bit of their future is all I can see." Her Mother replied
"It's awesome, Mom. Then, can you see my future?" Sena asked excitedly but her Mother next words extinguished her excitement. "I'm Sorry, My dear Lia. Just know, I tried but I can't even see a glimpse of your future maybe it only works once a day because I just touch the apple in the kitchen just a while ago and it shows me that it was eaten by you."
"A superpower with a limited usage, it can only be used once a day however it's still cool to have such an awesome ability." Sena said with a warm smile and she added, "Having a superpower is already a great thing, as some people don't even have one, like me."
Her mother nodded in agreement and then said, "Your school uniform needs changing. Why don't you go upstairs and freshen up."
Sena nodded in response and after she walked upstairs, her Mother sighed brokenheartedly and deeply grieve about the future of daughter.
How could my daughter be so heinous in the future, her life is so gloomy and dark. A friend, she trusted wholeheartedly, brought her betrayal that led to her tragedy. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the appearance of her backstabbing friend in my vision, but i think it was somewhat a close friend of her now.
