CHAPTER 27
She was outnumbered, but she wasn't afraid. Her eyes flicked between the three men, analyzing the situation. Her breathing was a little ragged. She took note of starting to do a training routine tomorrow. She had to stay in shape and active in physical activities so her muscles wouldn't get easily tired in moments like this.
Sweat trickled down her brow, and she wiped it with the back of her hand.
"You really think you can catch us?" One of the men sneered, his voice rough. "We're not some common snatchers." He had chubby cheeks and a slashed eyebrow. He looked dirty and a bit of a heavyweight.
The other nodded, his grin widening. "Yeah, lady. You're in over your head." This one was too skinny with a beard and red eyes. He looked like his bones were ready to emerge anytime out of his skin.
And she glanced at the snatcher. He was the balance of the two. Fit and could really run a marathon down the streets.
