Chapter 420 - Chapter 420

If they used a Fire-type Pokémon, or any other one with large, destructive moves, one strike might very well destroy the airplane itself.

Not only that, but in order to ensure their own escape, these hijackers had even captured Flying-type Pokémon. Their plan was simple—after robbing the passengers, they would immediately jump off the plane and fly away.

"Boss, what do we do now?"

Grog whispered to Nathan, his voice filled with unease.

He had flown many times before, but this was the first time he had ever encountered something like this. It was truly unexpected.

"Wait."

Nathan raised a hand slightly, signaling Grog not to panic.

"Shut up! Do you want to die?"

The hijacker in the first-class cabin heard Grog and Nathan whispering and immediately barked at them.

As he spoke, he pulled out a Poké Ball and hurled it into the aisle.

With a flash of light, a Pokémon appeared—Solosis.

Seeing this, Nathan was at a loss for words.

So, their big hijacking plan relied on… Solosis?

They actually dared to attempt a hijacking with such Pokémon?

But when he thought about it, it did make sense. Anyone foolish enough to come up with this kind of plan wouldn't exactly be capable of raising strong Pokémon in the first place.

"You have three minutes. Hand over all your Poké Balls, and anything valuable you have as well."

After releasing Solosis, the hijacker spoke again to everyone, his tone arrogant.

At the same time, he pulled out a large sack.

"Of course, you can choose to refuse or resist. But once my Pokémon uses Hypnosis, we might all be forced into a crash."

At his words, the passengers immediately stirred into action.

Pokémon were important, and money was important too—but nothing was more valuable than one's own life.

Seeing the bag filling up with valuables and Poké Balls, the hijacker was inwardly delighted.

As he expected, hijacking was indeed the right choice.

So many treasures! Selling these outside would easily fetch several million Poké Dollars.

"Boss, we're done here too."

At that moment, two more men walked over from the economy cabin. Both of them were carrying bulging sacks in their hands.

"Hold on, I'll be done in a second."

The hijacker in first class urged the passengers to hurry and soon arrived in front of Nathan and Grog.

"Hey, kid, where are your things?"

Seeing Nathan with his arms crossed and no intention of handing anything over, the hijacker instantly saw red.

Even now, someone dared to ignore his orders?

This was nothing short of courting death.

"Oh, you mean you want Poké Balls?"

Nathan acted as though he hadn't heard clearly earlier, his voice calm.

As he spoke, he slowly reached into his backpack and pulled out a Poké Ball.

"This one contains a Legendary-level Pokémon."

He casually dropped Volcarona's Poké Ball into the sack.

"And this one also contains a Legendary-level Pokémon. Though, I must warn you—this one has quite a violent temper and is extremely aggressive toward strangers."

With that, Nathan placed Mewtwo's Poké Ball into the hijacker's sack as well.

Legendary-level Pokémon…

Another Legendary-level Pokémon…

As Nathan rattled off their power levels one after another, the hijacker felt a chill run down his spine.

Could this guy really be telling the truth?

He had never personally seen a Legendary-level Pokémon, but he had heard the stories—that some of them were capable of leaving their Poké Balls on their own.

If he walked away carrying these Poké Balls, and the Pokémon inside decided to come out and attack him, what then?

"You… you take your Poké Balls back. I don't want them anymore!"

The hijacker's voice trembled slightly.

He had hijacked this plane for money, for a better life—not to carry around ticking time bombs.

"Well, that's fine. Oh dear… but the problem is, I can't quite recognize which Poké Balls are mine anymore."

Nathan feigned embarrassment, his expression one of mock helplessness.

Grog, watching from the side, almost burst out laughing.

Inside, he was howling with laughter, but with the hijackers still right there, he had no choice but to stifle it.

He held it in so hard that even his face turned red.

The two hijackers who had just come from economy class also found themselves at a loss, unable to make sense of the situation.

"You can't recognize your own Poké Balls?"

The hijacker's face twisted with rage. He felt like Nathan was deliberately toying with him.

Just moments ago, this kid could clearly list each Pokémon's level one by one.

And now he couldn't even recognize his own Poké Balls?

"Maybe I should try a different method then?"

Nathan's lips curved into a smile.

"Mewtwo—come out!"

He called directly into the sack of Poké Balls.

The moment his voice fell, the Poké Ball containing Mewtwo burst open with a dazzling white light.

In the blink of an eye, Mewtwo materialized in the cabin.

Though it was true that almost everyone had Pokémon nowadays, normally they were never allowed to release them on a plane.

After all, many Pokémon had massive bodies, and if they appeared inside an aircraft, it could easily cause chaos or damage.

But under the current circumstances, no one had the luxury to care about that anymore.

"You brat! Are you looking for death!?"

The hijacker's face twisted with fury.

This was outright defiance!

"Solosis, use Hypnosis!"

The hijacker shouted angrily.

Though he had earlier bluffed about bringing the plane down with him, in truth, he didn't have the guts.

He only had one life—if the plane crashed, he wouldn't survive either. What use would all the stolen treasure be then?

"Mewtwo, take control of every Pokémon on this plane."

Nathan's cold voice rang out.

A mere Solosis—barely Gym-level—daring to strike at Mewtwo?

That was nothing more than a lamb charging at a tiger. Pure suicide.

Mewtwo's psychic power flared instantly.

In a mere instant, every single Pokémon released inside the aircraft froze in place.

Whether they belonged to the hijackers or to the passengers, none could move.

Not even their moves could be executed—their bodies were completely locked in place.

Nathan unfastened his seatbelt and rose to his feet, slowly walking toward the hijackers.

"You… what are you trying to do? Do you really intend to die with us!?"

The hijacker's voice quivered, his face pale with terror.

He had never expected this.

Their plan had been perfect—or so he thought.

Yet of all the flights they could have chosen, they had chosen one with this kind of monster aboard.

Someone who could casually summon a Pokémon capable of seizing total control of the plane.

Truly, their luck was rotten.

"I'm just going to have the stewardess tie you up, of course."

Nathan spoke with a smile, his tone almost gentle.

Compared to the staff and passengers, he really did seem like a benevolent savior.

But to the hijackers, he was the devil himself.

"Hey, the hijackers' Pokémon have all been restrained. What are you waiting for?"

Nathan turned his head, finally realizing the stewardesses were still frozen in shock.

One of them quickly snapped out of it and hurried to find ropes.

But after searching, she found nothing.

In the end, she had no choice but to rip blankets into strips and use them as makeshift bindings.

The hijackers tried to resist, but in front of Mewtwo, they were nothing more than fish on a chopping block.

Resistance?

Against Mewtwo, even Pokémon were powerless, let alone a few humans.

Once the hijackers were securely tied up, Nathan retrieved his own Poké Balls from the sack, returned Mewtwo to its ball, and sat back down as though nothing had happened.

"Boss, that was amazing! When will I ever be able to reach your level?"

Grog quickly buttered him up with flattery.

Nathan only smiled faintly. For him, it really wasn't anything difficult.

As long as a person's Pokémon advanced to the Legendary tier, things like this could be resolved with ease.

But while that might be true for him, it was certainly not the case for others.

"Be quiet for a while. I want to rest. Once we land, we'll still have things to do."

Nathan closed his eyes, leaning back into his seat.

Seeing this, Grog could only turn to chat quietly with his wife, careful not to disturb him.

The stewardess had wanted to thank Nathan, but seeing him resting, she wisely chose not to disturb him either.

When the plane finally landed, the police were waiting at the airport, and the hijackers were immediately taken into custody.
