Jenna nodded and, without thinking, targeted the door on the other side of the room...
Looking back, this was a room about 800 meters long, maybe more, which got smaller as it reached the end. It started with a width of 100 meters or more and ended at about 10 meters.
The area where the water channel ran, where part of the octopus was, was about 40 to 50 meters wide. Considering the octopus's width was about 10 meters, they could pass through its body and cross to the other side.
But that wasn't the problem.
Could they escape?
Right now, they were both about 600 or 700 meters from the door.
If they ran on a flat surface and pushed their bodies to the absolute limit, they could run at approximately 35 or 40 meters per second, but that was only on flat ground and at maximum power. It was not certain that they could do it with so much mental and physical exhaustion.
Even so, they would need approximately 20 seconds to reach the other side.
Could they do it?
