Chapter 77 - CHAPTER 76 – A VERY STRANGE PARALLEL WORLD

*Note: The title is similar, I know but it's because I did it due to a mistake I made when I was writing the chapter 75 and 76. I changed a bit the title but it's basically the same.

Ehem, the idea of yuri didn't have a very good reception so forget it... or that I wanted to say but only 4 people comment so if tomorrow this paragraph doesn't have at least 15 comment of different people saying if they want yuri or not... I'll write yuri but without the protagonist so comment to avoid this or face the consequences and I'm immune to insults so comment if you don't want yuri or yes.

Have a good day :)

...

While they were having that conversation, our protagonist Akira, along with his fiancées and girlfriends, were thinking about heading back.

"It seems like everyone in this dimension is an NPC from a video game," Mikan said.

She hadn't played that many games, but she knew enough to understand what an NPC was.

"The NPCs we're used to in video games have artificial intelligence that allows them to respond depending on what you ask. But these NPCs are more like the ones from your world's older games, and that doesn't make sense. How could a dimension like this even exist?" Nana said, frowning.

"I guess since it's a parallel timeline, it must have different physical laws," Momo added thoughtfully.

"In any case, there's nothing interesting here. Let's go back and move to another one," Yami suggested.

Everyone nodded—she was right. This timeline was eerie and incredibly boring, so there was no point in staying any longer.

But just as I was about to transform into ChronoShade…

"Hands up! Don't make any sudden moves!" someone shouted.

A group of soldiers appeared, dressed in gray uniforms and wearing black sunglasses. On their chests was a red 'R,' identical to the one used by Team Rocket from the Pokémon series.

"Who are you?" I asked, confused.

Everyone froze. Just moments ago, we were about to head home, and now we were surrounded by armed soldiers aiming strange guns at us. What the hell just happened?

"I said hands up!" one of them barked again.

We were surrounded by at least five of them, all pointing futuristic plasma guns at us.

"Those are plasma pistols—much deadlier than normal firearms from Earth," Lala whispered.

So basically, guns… but far more lethal and destructive.

"Should we do something?" Yami asked calmly.

For now, we decided to raise our hands—they seemed pretty agitated and trigger-happy.

"No… not everyone here can fight, and a single plasma shot could kill Mikan or Akira if he doesn't transform. Even we'd be badly injured," Momo replied.

She was right. Mikan and I were still in our human forms; one hit could kill us instantly. The girls, though stronger, would still take serious damage.

"Then we'd better wait and see what they want," I said quietly.

I wasn't going to risk anyone's life needlessly.

"Who are you people?" I repeated.

We had our hands up, so I hoped they wouldn't shoot for no reason.

"You know damn well who you are! Now move!" one of them ordered.

While the others kept their weapons aimed, one led us toward what looked like a perfectly normal house. The living room, the furniture—everything seemed ordinary. But underneath it lay something else entirely.

In one of the rooms, the man pulled a book from a shelf and pressed something hidden inside.

Suddenly, two metal panels opened in the floor, revealing a strange elevator—one of those open platform types with safety bars but no walls.

"Get in," the man ordered.

The platform was large enough for over fifteen people, so we all fit comfortably, with some space to spare.

"Where do you think they're taking us?" Mikan whispered nervously.

"I don't know, but whatever happens, I won't let them hurt you," I said firmly.

"Silence!" the man snapped.

He was starting to lose patience, but for the girls' sake, I didn't transform into Humungousaur and crush these idiots. I needed to know where they were taking us and why. Were they slave traders who had taken over this version of Earth? Maybe in this parallel timeline, Gid didn't protect the planet like in ours. No clue—but I was going to find out.

The platform descended into a large underground area, where we were locked inside a simple room with just a desk and a few chairs.

"Sit down. Someone will be here to deal with you shortly," the man said before leaving and locking the door behind him.

"What do we do now?" Mikan asked softly.

She was frightened, understandably. Aside from that one time I saved her from that assassin, she'd lived a normal life—nothing like this.

"For now, let's wait. But if things get dangerous…" I lifted my arm, showing the Omnitrix, "I'll fight."

"I agree," Yami said calmly.

"Okay, but we should at least have a signal to coordinate," Nana added.

"What about when Akira transforms? That's a pretty good signal," Momo suggested.

"Yeah… I guess that makes sense," Nana mumbled, blushing slightly.

She couldn't believe she hadn't thought of something so obvious.

"Then it's settled. We'll act once Akira transforms," Lala nodded.

"Just… please be careful," Peke said. "We don't know how these people might react."

He was right. This whole situation was bizarre, and there was no telling how far these soldiers would go.

"I've got an alien that can heal any wound, no matter how bad—but still, don't take any risks," I warned.

The girls nodded, and after a few tense minutes, someone finally came. But when we saw who it was, all our eyes widened in shock.

There weren't one or two people—there were four. And not just anyone… they were *Lala, Momo, Nana,* and their mother, *Sephie!*

But something was strange. Except for Sephie, who looked exactly the same as always—even wearing her iconic veil—the other three had the same hairstyles as our Lala, Momo, and Nana… except their hair was *blonde*, and their eyes were *blue*.

"Us?" Nana gasped.

She couldn't stop herself from blurting it out.

Lala, Momo, Yami, and even Mikan were stunned into silence. They couldn't process what they were seeing—versions of themselves, but with different hair colors!

"Us?" the blonde Lala—Lala R—asked, narrowing her eyes.

(Note: From this point onward, the alternate versions will be referred to as Lala R, Momo R, and Nana R.)

"Uh… I—" Nana started, but was cut off.

"Silence! You don't speak unless you're given permission!" Lala R barked sharply.

Her commanding tone, the anger in her eyes—it was shocking. Was this really *Lala*? The cheerful, kind Lala we knew would never talk like that.

"That's better. Behave, and we won't have to use force," Nana R said, smiling coldly.

Something about that smile sent chills down my spine. This Nana was definitely not our tsundere.

"We'll ask you a few questions. I suggest you answer truthfully. Otherwise…" Momo R giggled, "I'll get to test my new interrogation methods. Ahh, how thrilling it'll be to hear someone scream with my voice."

Dear god. She looked—and sounded—like a full-blown yandere.

The girls stared, speechless. What had happened to their counterparts in this world?

"For now, let's just talk calmly," Sephie R said gently. But despite her soothing tone, her words carried a subtle threat. She clearly didn't disapprove of Momo R's "methods."

Lala R sat down, crossing her legs, while the others stood at her sides.

"Now, I'll ask just once," she said coldly. "Who are you, why do you look like us, and what are you doing here? Don't lie, or I'll happily hand you over to Momo for interrogation. She's got quite the fondness for both handsome men *and* pretty girls."

"Fufufu, she's right," Momo R purred, licking her lips. "How does it feel to imagine torturing someone with such perfect skin? Just thinking about it makes me wet."

This girl needed *serious* psychiatric help.

"All right," I said calmly. "No reason to drag this out. The truth is simple: the reason you look like them is because they *are* you—just from another timeline. We all came from a different world."

"Lies!" Nana R snapped. "The existence of parallel timelines is just a theory Tearju proposed—it's never been proven!"

"And even if it were true," Lala R added sharply, "how and why did you come here?"

They clearly didn't believe us—in fact, they seemed even more hostile now.

"Our fiancé, Akira, has the ability to do that—and much more," Momo said confidently.

Her voice was steady again; she'd recovered from the initial shock.

"Fiancé? Akira? Ability?" Sephie R repeated, startled.

Now it was their turn to look shocked.

"You're saying that human can travel across timelines? Why should I believe you?" Lala R asked.

"Don't believe them! How could a mere human possess such power? It's impossible!" Nana R barked.

"I can prove what she said is true," I replied calmly.

"It's fine," Lala R said, crossing her arms. "We're not unreasonable. If you can prove it, we'll stop treating you as criminals—and even answer some of your questions."

"But sister—" Nana R protested.

"Fufufu, I agree," Momo R interrupted. "If they're telling the truth, they could be useful allies. But if they're lying… fufufu, oh, I'm already getting excited thinking about it."

Someone please lock this version of Momo in a padded room.

"Fine. We're listening," Lala R said flatly.

"Before I prove it, there's something you should know," I said.

"What's that?" Sephie R asked.

"As Momo said, I can travel across timelines. But that's not my only ability."

"What do you mean?" Nana R asked.

"Thanks to this watch…" I said, lifting my arm to show the Omnitrix. All their eyes followed it intently.

"I can transform into different aliens, each with unique powers. One of them can travel between parallel timelines at random. That's how we ended up here." – I explained.
