When we got home and the girls saw me arrive with Mikan, they bombarded me with countless questions — even the usually quiet Yami asked a few, which was rare for her.
After a long and tedious explanation…
"I see, so that's what happened," Yami said.
Apparently, a new assassin had attacked Akira and Mikan, who for some reason happened to be passing by, got involved and almost died. Luckily, Akira saved her. That was basically a short summary of what had happened.
"It seems the assassins are becoming more aggressive…" Yami said thoughtfully.
Yes, that was obvious considering Akira had "stolen" the other two princesses as well.
"Even so, it's incredible. All of you have identities I never could have imagined. Princesses, former assassins, and even a future king," Mikan said in awe.
Apart from explaining everything that had happened to the girls, we also explained everything to Mikan, which took quite a while.
"Ahem, that's just how things ended up," I said.
The Omnitrix gleamed on my wrist in its original form. The reason was that Mikan had asked to see it, and I had left it that way.
"It's… too much information," Mikan admitted.
Mikan felt overwhelmed by everything she had just learned — she never would've guessed that the people standing before her, who seemed so normal and with whom she'd spent so much time, were actually such important figures.
Lala and her sisters were princesses — daughters of the king. Yami was a reformed assassin. And Akira was the heir to the throne and the future king of the galaxy. And then there was that robot, Peke, built by Lala. All of this was too unbelievable for her.
"You'll get used to it. Haruna and Yui had trouble adapting at first, but it doesn't seem to bother them anymore," I said.
It was amazing how quickly they'd accepted it all.
"Haruna-san knows too?" Mikan asked, surprised.
"She was kidnapped by an assassin who came to kill me, and I had no choice but to tell her. Although it was Yami who actually explained it," I nodded.
"It was the best option. They'd seen too much, and not telling them anything would've only confused them more," Yami said.
"Alright. I suppose it's just a matter of time until I get used to it too," Mikan said.
Tonight, she'd probably lie in bed thinking about everything that had happened. With her ability to stay calm and adapt, Mikan was sure she'd get used to it soon enough.
"Although, there's still one question we need to ask you, Mikan," Lala said.
"What is it?" Mikan asked, puzzled.
"What were you doing at that park at this hour? I mean, even if you wanted to go shopping, there's a store close to your house and in the opposite direction from ours," Lala said.
At that moment, Mikan's heart skipped a beat. That's right — with everything that had happened, she had completely forgotten her original reason for coming! The true reason why she was there!
Everyone was looking at her attentively, waiting for her answer, which made her blush.
She had come earlier purely on impulse, but… was she really going to confess her feelings to Akira in front of all the girls? They'd only known each other for about three weeks. How would Akira react to hearing that she had fallen in love with him in such a short time? What if he rejected her? What would their relationship become after that? Would things become awkward? Sad?
Countless thoughts of that nature flooded Mikan's mind.
"Is something wrong, Mikan?" Akira asked curiously.
Seeing her so quiet, Akira couldn't help but wonder.
The moment Mikan looked into Akira's face, it was as if suddenly all her doubts disappeared. Was she really going to be like her brother? Falling in love but never having the courage to confess? Was she really going to live like a coward?
Now that she knew who Akira truly was — his real identity — Mikan was sure that, in the future, when Akira became king, he would stop coming to her house. He would probably even leave Earth and never return. Would he remember a simple human girl like her? Would he remember that little girl he used to help with housework?
Surely his duties as king and his wives would make him forget her, which would make her regret it for the rest of her life — regret not having had the courage to confess when she had the chance. *What if I'd been braver? What if I'd confessed back then? Would things be different? Would I be living with the one I love?* Mikan didn't want to ask herself those questions in the future — that's why she decided to say it now.
"Say it already, don't think about it or you'll lose your nerve!" Mikan thought.
If she thought about it, she wouldn't do it — so it was better not to think.
Determined, Mikan shut off her mind and looked directly at Akira, making him step back a little.
"Akira-kun!" Mikan said loudly.
All the girls looked at her in surprise — it was the first time she'd ever raised her voice. Though they hadn't known her for long, they'd always seen Mikan as calm, patient, and polite. That's why they were so startled by her sudden outburst.
"What's wrong?" Akira asked, surprised.
In the nearly three weeks he'd known her, Akira had never heard Mikan yell before — not even in the manga, as far as he could recall.
"I know this is sudden, but I don't want to regret it!" Mikan said.
"Regret it? Regret what?" I asked, confused.
Mikan was acting strange today…
"I like you, Akira-kun! I want to go out with you!" Mikan shouted.
She did it — she confessed!
Her heart pounded violently, her body trembled, and her face turned as red as a tomato. She was nervous, anxious for the answer she was about to receive. Would he accept her, or reject her? She would know in a few moments.
What Mikan didn't know was that her confession had only surprised Akira — not the other girls. From the way Mikan looked at him, they had all known she was in love with him long before even she had realized it herself. Still, they admired her courage — confessing in front of them instead of trying to find a private moment alone with Akira.
Akira, on the other hand, took a few seconds to react. That didn't mean he wasn't thinking — he was just… stunned.
On one hand, he was happy about Mikan's feelings, but on the other, he was shocked that they had developed so quickly — and that she had been the one to take the first step. Previously, Akira had always been the one confessing, more or less — but now someone had confessed to him, and it was a younger girl!
Despite her maturity, Mikan was still a child — and while Akira was 15, in his previous life he had been an adult, so this was a moral dilemma: should he see himself as a lolicon for this? If he were still his past self, maybe. But he wasn't that person anymore. His previous life had ended — now he was Akira Sato, a 15-year-old teenager. He might still have an adult's mind, but that was all. His past self was gone — he had died the moment he touched that petrified bracelet.
He had thought about this question for days and finally reached a conclusion. Some people might disagree, but this was his choice.
"Your feelings are flattering," I finally said.
It was as if time froze. Everyone else seemed to disappear, leaving only Akira and Mikan in that moment. The only sound was the beating of their hearts.
Mikan tried to decipher what those words meant — was it a rejection, or acceptance?
"I… I don't understand," Mikan said.
"It's simple. Of course I accept. I like you too. Besides, who wouldn't want to have such a beautiful girl as their girlfriend?" I said with a smile.
I already said my goal was to win over all the heroines of *To Love-Ru*, and I'm not backing down.
Hearing that, Mikan couldn't hold back her emotions any longer. She threw herself into Akira's arms and kissed him on the lips.
It was an innocent kiss — free of lust, filled only with pure love. It didn't last long.
"Congratulations!" Lala said cheerfully.
"Looks like we've got a new sister," Momo smiled.
"I'm happy for you, Mikan," Yami said softly.
"Hmph. Congratulations," Nana said, blushing slightly.
They were all genuinely happy that Akira had accepted Mikan. To them, Mikan was someone special — kind, gentle, mature, hardworking, honest, and more. From the moment they met her, they'd loved her like a sister.
First Lala, then Yami — her best friend — and finally Momo and Nana. They all had one thing in common: they liked Mikan. Was there anyone who didn't? It was hard to imagine anyone hating such a good-hearted girl.
After officially becoming my girlfriend, I walked Mikan home. Did you think we were going to do *that*? No — I'm still thinking about it, and for now, I prefer to keep our relationship "innocent." Besides, we had school tomorrow, and Rito would worry if his sister didn't come home soon.
After taking her home and coming back, I had sex with Nana since it was her turn, and afterward, we fell asleep.
To be honest, Nana almost passed out after her third orgasm, while I could've gone a few more rounds — so to calm me down, she gave me a few blowjobs until I was finally satisfied.
Thanks to that, Nana got a lot better at it — in fact, she became the best among the girls. Her technique was amazing. It's funny to think that the tsundere Nana, a girl many men admired and nobles tried to win over, could be so good at sex.
Yes, fun fact: Nana learns fast. Apparently, aside from her talent with animals, she's also gifted in other… areas. Who would've thought?
