Chapter 211 – Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki Takes Action
The only possible explanation...
There must be another high-level combat force on Earth.
But... could that really be true?
For a moment, silence enveloped the Ōtsutsuki council chamber. The elders, once so certain in their judgment, now looked at each other with unease.
Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki's words had struck like lightning on a clear day, shaking the very foundation of their assumptions.
They had all believed that Ōtsutsuki Kaguya was the one acting out, reclaiming her old power and defying the clan again.
But thinking it over carefully...
With the strength of Ōtsutsuki Kinshiki and Ōtsutsuki Urashiki, even if they weren't Kaguya's match, they should've been able to escape.
Yet both had fallen.
And that was terrifying.
If Kaguya hadn't done it, then who had?
Could there really be an unknown combatant on Earth powerful enough to eliminate both Kinshiki and Urashiki?
Just the thought made the Ōtsutsuki elders uneasy.
> "Hmph. Momoshiki, what exactly are you saying?"
One of the high-ranking elders finally broke the silence, his voice low and grave.
> "If Kaguya isn't responsible, then who is?"
> "Who knows?" Momoshiki replied coldly, with a shrug of indifference.
"Kinshiki and Urashiki were trash. They couldn't even send back the most basic information. Pathetic."
His tone turned biting.
> "Whether it was Kaguya or not, anyone who dares challenge the Ōtsutsuki clan will pay in blood."
> "They will learn that the divine authority of the Ōtsutsuki cannot be violated."
As his words echoed in the chamber, the air around Momoshiki distorted.
SWOOSH!!
With a fluctuation of space, he vanished from the room.
Gone.
---
In truth, this was no calculated retreat—it was pure frustration.
Momoshiki had long been fed up with the increasingly bureaucratic and decaying structure of the clan's leadership. Hearing them belittle Kinshiki and Urashiki—both of whom had fought and died for the clan—had enraged him.
They weren't without faults, sure, but they deserved better than being branded as "failures."
So Momoshiki took the opportunity to lash out—and then leave.
He had his own plan now.
He would go to Earth himself.
And once there, he would find a way to become invincible.
Then, no matter who the enemy was—even Uchiha Yuta—he would crush them and uphold the clan's authority.
---
Back in the council chamber…
> "Hmph. Momoshiki is becoming more and more arrogant."
> "Let him go. If he's so confident, we'll wait for his glorious victory."
> "He talks big, but Kinshiki and Urashiki were strong too—and look what happened to them."
> "Very well then. Let's see if Momoshiki fares any better."
The elders exchanged knowing glances.
They weren't blind to Momoshiki's motivations. But if he wanted to go to Earth and throw himself into danger, they wouldn't stop him.
Let him prove himself—or fall.
> "This meeting is adjourned," one of the high elders said, rising to his feet with a sigh.
"If Momoshiki truly is as strong as he claims, even if he can't win, he'll at least send back detailed information. That's all we need—for now."
---
Meanwhile… in the hidden base beneath the Land of Rain…
Uchiha Madara, the masked man—Uchiha Obito—and the strange duo of Black Zetsu and White Zetsu had all fallen into an eerie silence.
> "The intruding chakra signature has vanished," Obito said in disbelief.
"Only one remains… the Fifth Hokage—Uchiha Yuta."
> "If I'm not mistaken," Black Zetsu muttered grimly,
"Uchiha Yuta has become the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki."
> "But how?" White Zetsu blurted out.
"Wasn't the Ten-Tails sealed?! How did it return—and how did he become its Jinchūriki?!"
> "The entire balance of the ninja world has shifted," Black Zetsu added darkly.
"Everything is spiraling into chaos… and Uchiha Yuta is at the center of it."
They looked at each other, every one of them rattled.
Even Madara—normally composed—was grim.
What was once a carefully orchestrated plan to plunge the world into the Infinite Tsukuyomi had gone completely off course. The Ten-Tails had been reawakened—but under someone else's control.
And that someone…
Was not Madara, nor Kaguya, nor even Obito.
It was Uchiha Yuta—the Fifth Hokage of Konohagakure, now wielding power even the Sage of Six Paths would fear.
The ninja world, unknowingly…
Had entered hell mode.
