Sports really makes you clear your mind! Specially from my parents taunts!
We are going to have a match on our homeground next week. So here I am practicing alone cause all have left but I stay here which is more better than returning home and rotting there alone.
After practicing for hours, I went towards the bench and rested myself. I drank some water and poured some on my head to cool down. I wiped all the sweat from my face and removed my t-shirt which was drenched in sweat. My body was in full view. Suddenly I heard someone disgusting calling me and knew she is!
Natasha!
"Ohh my God, Gabriel you are here" she exclaimed glaring at my body with not so good intentions. This bitch has the nerve to cheat and now came here to stare at me shamelessly. Such a Playgirl!
"So, why i shouldn't be here?" I retorted.
"I was not expecting you to find here, I was just passing by." She said still staring at my chest down.
"Eyes here miss" I said irritated by her gaze. She is so fucking shameless. I immediately went to get into my another t-shirt which I carry every practice day I have.
"So what makes you stay here? Are you free, do you need company. Actually I am free....to" I cut her off and growled at her.
"Will you please leave me alone! I don't need any company. You can take your ass out of this court and I am in no interest." I yelled.
"Fine.. fine but if you still want to change your mind then I am in the ground" She said and walked off not before winking her eyelashes at me.
"Disgusting!" I muttered.
I sat back and stared at the floor. Not top long Ivan entered the court with his sports bag hanging from one shoulder carrying a basketball in his left arm ,looking effortlessly perfect. Why I am even praising him in my thoughts. I am unbelievable!
"Hey, Gabriel!" He waved to me.
"Hi Ivan, you are here"
"Ofcourse, my ghost is not infront of you" he chuckled. Why he always have that sarcasm in his tone! Can't he answer straight?
He sat beside me. I stared at him but my phone rang and a message popped on the screen. I picked and saw the text was from Sam. She has forwarded a picture of her with a icecream in her hand and she licked her tongue out.
She wrote: Ice cream to cool this hot head of yours! Ice cream is life!
I smiled widely at the picture.She is so adorable! This girl is driving me crazy now!
I am gonna melt down like an ice-cream because of her antics and softness! She never fails to make me happy wherever I am!
I literally love this girl and I can't avoid it anymore!
"What is that makes you blush so much grumpy?" Ivan asked while peeping in my phone.
"Nothing! None of your business" I said and switched off my phone and key it aside.
"I know, it was Sam" He said and my eyes went wide at him..
"You really like her" he asked.
"What!" I was stunned by his question.
"You love her right!" He repeated.
"I.. I.." I was unable to answer him. I just stared at the floor saying nothing.
"The way you adore her ,care for her, cheer her, want her is clearly stating that.
"No.. it's.. not..hing like that" I tried to deny.
"Liar, even your face is not matching your
answer. I have noticed her not only her but you too always standing beside her, admiring her, caring her everything. She is something which cannot go unnoticed even if she stands in a crowd of people. She different from all! Her aura reflects! Something which makes her unique from others and you admiring her wait actually adoring her cannot go unnoticed Gabriel " He said.
I felt a burning jealousy in my heart. Someone else noticing Sam just like I do, too close! Makes me burned from inside and out. He notices her so close. Just like I do!
"You better stay away from her Ivan" I said in a threatening tone.
"You are afraid that i know what only you know until now, you are afraid that i notice her so closely, you are afraid that i maybe feel the same as you feel to her, don't you" he said and my last remained patience also ran out hearing her last sentence.
He too likes her! Damn it!
I knew this bitch, the way he used to stitch around her consistently.
I went upon him and grabbed his collar. Surprised to me, he laughed instead and i frowned at his sudden act!
"You do but you still deny" He still laughed.
"Shut up Ivan, don't you dare go near her anymore or else I will surely woe you to hell" I growled.
"You are afraid that I might like her! So listen I do!" He said and next my last patience was all gone, i punched him hard and he felled back.
"She is mine! All mine no one can even stare at her! I shouted. My obsession on her taking over!
"You are not the one deciding for her, she is the one" He yelled back. I backed off after hearing him. He was correct. I can't help if she has feelings for him. I haven't even confessed her and hadn't even hear her response so how can I decide if she wants me more than just a friend.
"I knew you loved her and you being her childhood bestfriend is no shock to me that you love her but instead I am shocked at myself when I started falling for her instantly" he added.
"She will choose me" i muttered under my breath still audible to him.
"How you know?" He said raising his eyebrows.
"I know her well enough " i replied.
"No doubt, sure you know her well but here it's isn't about what you know or i know, it's her call whether you, me or someone else " He said and got up. But still acknowledging that someone else also has soft eyes for her makes me more uncomfortable and jealous.
She is mine! Only mine! My Sam and the thought someone else wants her too is making me loose my sanity. My thoughts kept drifting back at Ivan's words what if she really had feelings for him and I just her Best friend.
"I know she will never make choices, instead she would try to hold it within so that she doesn't loose any of them" I said and he nodded immediately agreeing. Seems like he knows her well in less time!
"Knowing her well isn't enough but to know that she knows that you know well enough about her is what matters most!" He said and I too nodded.
"I don't know anything about fate and destiny but if she is bound to be mine then I will wait, wait until she agrees the same and if she likes you I will happily let her go, because seeing her happy and that aura of hers alive is what I want,not to rather cage her with me without her will" I said softly.
"No doubt, you are her bestest friend. You are so thoughtful like her, look company reflects personality " He said and smiled slightly.
Still in some corner of my heart I know that you are bound to be with me in this pure bond!
I shall respect her decision, whether she agrees or not. If she does then, I will never ever let her go!
I shall bound herself to me till eternity!
If she doesn't then I shall let her go. But I shall always stand beside her, support her , protect her everytime she needs me. But the thought of loosing her completely makes my world turn. We have been together since childhood, it's hard to let go the person who matters everything to you from the very start. But deep down somewhere in my heart I believe she feels the same as me!
Am I the right one for her? Does she feels the same for me?
She is mine forever whether a best friend or more than that! This girl would always have my heart. She is my first and last one too !
I am so whipped for her now!
She is mine and I am hers in every way, in every corner of the world, in every memory we made together, in every universe, in every book, in every story of our life! She is my Sam!
