As shards of ice flew around him, Nava began to feel a heaviness in the air, as if space-time itself was slowing down around him, freezing him, watching him. Shiroryü had disappeared, no longer in sight, but her aura filled the space.
Shiroryü (her voice whispers in the void): You see, Nava, this is my world, here, I am the law, I am time, I am the end."
Nava could feel every second passing like an hour, every movement draining his energy. He used his skills in manipulating the void, creating a barrier of black fire and black lightning around him, trying to shatter the cold weight of time imposed by Shiroryü.
Nava (in a calm but firm voice): Beautiful... Your world is cold, but I learned how to make fire in hell itself."
He raised his hand, summoning all his power. White ice and swords of lightning began to wrap around his sword, merging with purple flames, and he whispered the name of his new technique:
Nava: "Zero Point - Resurrection Lightning.
The power exploded from his sword in a huge wave, tearing the reality around him, and the ice turned to vapor. The place shook, and Shiroryü finally moved, appearing in front of him, smiling with that nonchalant confidence.
Shiroryü: Oh, finally an attack worthy of me... Let's see if you can break eternity?
They rushed at each other, swords clashing, fire and ice, lightning and time, each collision tearing apart a part of the world around them. The place itself was collapsing, as if they were fighting at a hinge between universes.
After dozens of attacks, after Nava was stabbed in the shoulder and returned the blow to Shirorio's chest, the two paused for a second.
Shiroryü (wiping blood from her mouth): Didn't I tell you? You impress me, Nava...
Nava: "And you look like you're having too much fun.
Shiroryü (with a chuckle): Oh, because I haven't fought anyone who can make me bleed for thousands of years.
Shiroryü then took a new offensive stance, her hands glowing with white energy, and began to recite a spell in a language that Nava didn't understand, but which lit up the place with pure ice that was like light itself.
Shiroryü: "Reality and the ultimate void... Killing the truth."
As she prepared to release the spell, Nava focused all of his power, summoning everyone he had met, everyone he had lost, everything he had fought for, and then looked at her steadily.
Nava (in a whisper): This is your end, and I'm not sorry.
He jumped up and summoned a sword he had never used before, a sword that had been sealed within him since the beginning of his journey, the sword of nothingness, capable of erasing concepts.
Nava: "Sword of Nothingness - Acta asto fabla
He swung it at Shiroryü, cutting through her, and with the cut, everything stopped. Time froze, light was still, worlds stopped.
Then, with unexpected gentleness, Shirorio scattered into soft ice, then reassembled again, but this time, she was smiling, calm, sitting in front of him as if nothing had happened.
Shiroryü (in her sweet voice): Nice... You did it.
She approached him, despite her wounds, and placed her hand on his face.
Shiroryü: You were the first to give me an ending... "And the best part is that you were my opponent.You also made me see the unknown.
Then, suddenly, before Nava could say anything, she leaned in and kissed him tenderly, a smile on her face, her eyes shining with a strange light.
Shiroryü (in a whisper): But, Nava... This will not be the end. We will meet again, in another time... Or in a forgotten dream.Or in another story. But it's true, I don't even die. We'll meet again when you're a demon king.
Then, like snow melting in the sunlight, she began to fade away, leaving Nava standing alone in the icy void, silence reigning.
Breathing slowly, his eyes staring into the void where she had disappeared, he said
Nava: It wasn't just a fight... Wasn't it?
Then he turned around, the Sword of Nothingness still in his hand, and sighed
