"Just do as I say." Rin's tone brooked no argument. He didn't bother to explain himself, keeping his eyes fixed on Bellamy and Saqis the Great Dagger, who were charging toward them with blind determination.
"Spring Hopper!" Bellamy suddenly shouted, activating his Bane Bane no Mi powers. His legs compressed like springs, storing up kinetic energy before launching him toward Rin with terrifying speed. As Bellamy flew forward, his body ricocheted off the deck in a zigzag pattern. Rin, without flinching, dissolved into a beam of light using his Pika Pika no Mi the same Logia-type Devil Fruit wielded by Admiral Kizaru of the Marines and effortlessly evaded Bellamy's assault. Bellamy's attack passed straight through Rin's refracted light form and struck nothing but air.
"You! H-How do you have the abilities of the Glint-Glint Fruit?!" Bellamy retracted his body after the missed strike and stared in disbelief. The Glint-Glint Fruit was known throughout the world as the power of Borsalino Kizaru of the Navy Headquarters. The speed of light, the dazzling energy, it was unmistakable. Had Rin somehow obtained a power of that caliber?
"Hmph, there are more mysterious things about me than you'll ever understand. Want to kill me? You'd better go back and train for another hundred years!" Rin mocked, standing confidently while light shimmered faintly around him. Bellamy's frustration mounted Rin wasn't even taking him seriously.
"I don't believe I can't land a single hit!" Bellamy yelled as he leapt forward again, bounding with even more force and velocity. Pride, rage, and the thought of Doflamingo's expectations drove him to act recklessly. But it was futile.
"You should stop wasting your energy, I'll offer you a proposal. Forget Doflamingo and come follow me." Rin's voice was calm, almost casual, but the offer itself was anything but. To Bellamy, such a suggestion was blasphemy. Rin had just asked him to abandon the man he idolized the same man he once claimed would become Pirate King.
"You're dreaming! I would rather die than betray Lord Doflamingo!" Bellamy roared back. Despite all his flaws his arrogance, his cruelty Bellamy had always remained loyal to Doflamingo. That loyalty burned deep, and even now, while facing someone clearly superior, he held onto it.
"Sigh… you poor fool. One day, you'll realize how wrong you were to put your faith in him." Rin's tone carried both pity and disappointment. He had seen how this played out in the original timeline how Doflamingo used the Ito Ito no Mi to puppeteer Saqis into stabbing Bellamy in the gut without a shred of hesitation. Even as Bellamy bled out, he never believed his idol would betray him. That kind of loyalty, Rin thought, deserved better than what Doflamingo ever gave.
"What's the point of turning into light if you're just going to dodge? Face me properly!" Bellamy shouted, his frustration mounting. He swung again and again his spring-loaded fists cutting through the air only for Rin's light-form to shimmer and pass through the attacks untouched. Bellamy was fighting an illusion, a force of nature, not a man.
"You're sure you want that? I doubt you could survive a single real hit from me." Rin's lips curled slightly in a grin. If he truly struck Bellamy with even a fraction of his full strength, the man wouldn't get back up. The gap in their power was enormous.
"Hmph! I've already made peace with dying today. Come at me with everything you've got!" Bellamy declared, planting his feet with resolve. His voice didn't shake. He had gambled his life too many times to back down now. Even if Rin was like a god, he'd go down fighting. Like a pirate.
"10 times gravity!" Rin activated the power of the Cosmic-Cosmic Fruit, an ability unique to him in this alternate reality of the Grand Line. The moment the command left his lips, the gravitational field around him intensified dramatically tenfold in an instant. The entire enemy vessel groaned under the sudden pressure as its hull creaked and sank slightly into the sea. Rin's own ship, floating at a safe distance, remained unaffected due to its proximity being beyond the active radius of his ability. But Bellamy, who stood just a few meters from Rin, was immediately overwhelmed his body driven into the wooden planks with a force that pinned him like a bug under glass. Not far away, Enel (also known as Anilu), and Saqis the Great Dagger, both felt the crushing shift. "How dare a firefly compare itself to the moon?" Rin said with cold derision. "Look at yourself you thought you could shake the heavens with your springy legs? If I truly wanted to, I could crush you into pulp beneath your own weight." Rin's eyes narrowed, glowing with unrestrained dominance. He was bluffing, in part, if he really did that, the resulting gravitational rebound would wreak havoc, potentially injuring even himself. But Bellamy didn't need to know that.
"Captain! They're vomiting blood already, if this continues, they'll die for sure! Didn't you just say you wanted one of them alive?" Anilu called out, his sharp senses alert to the deterioration in their bodies. Bellamy and Saqis had blood trickling from the corners of their mouths, their internal organs clearly beginning to rupture under the pressure. Anilu understood immediately this was Rin's doing. No one else had this kind of command over fundamental forces.
"Hmph." Rin snorted and raised a hand, canceling the gravitational surge. Instantly, the pressure lifted, and Bellamy and Saqis gasped desperately for air, like drowning men pulled suddenly from the depths. Their lungs burned, and for several long seconds, they did nothing but inhale deeply, greedily, as though every breath might be their last.
"You… You call this power? Is torturing us like this some kind of sick game to you?" Saqis finally managed to stagger to his feet. Blood still trickled from his nostrils, and his legs shook under him, but his eyes burned with rage, fear, and helplessness. Emotions he had once enjoyed seeing in his victims were now burning in his own soul.
"Feels hopeless, doesn't it?" Rin said darkly, his expression turning serious. "But didn't you ever think a day like this would come? How many lives have you ruined, how many villages burned, how many innocent people crushed under your heel? You carved your path in blood now you're drowning in it."
