Chapter 65 - World Suggestion (Choose the next world after this arc)

Hello everyone! I hope you all are enjoying the fic!

Probably after a couple hours I will have the next chapter out!

What I'm about to explain next is very, very important for understanding the story from now on so do please read it and don't skip it.

So, you see guys, I have been thinking about Thragg's personality. This guy, how I've written him is very, very cautious.

My plan at first was to send him at the end of the Novel to like DC and Marvel and well, just end it with something along the lines,

"And so continues Thragg's quest for infinite conquest, for the rest of time,"

But well... That's honestly,

A) A cop out

B) Boring

C) Repeat A and B 100x.

So! I was thinking, how can I make it more interesting, since Thragg himself now that I think about it, though wanting multiversal conquest is cautious and possessive.

He won't just go to a reality with beings like Darkseid, Thanos, Galactus, etc.

(Name every guy you can think of that can swat current Thragg like a bug.)

Cause come on, he has no guarentee what type of world he is going to.

And doesn't even understand the ability enough to have any guarentee that he won't be noticed and seen as an eyesore by like Zeus or something who throws lighting at him from Mount Olympus and there, Dead Thragg.

Which just kills the story with how I've written him.

So, I wish to upscale Thragg in high tier worlds. But how to make it not be Bullshit and free unearned power?

Now, here, comes the explanation. For those who've read Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, this will be quite easy to understand, though I'll try to make it as simple as possible.

See, in ORV, there is something like getting powers from stories. From stories you create and how known it becomes.

(See already where I'm going with this?).

Stories have tiers, and depending on the tier you can powers.

And you can basically become a "god" or an literal concept depending on the story.

Story Ranks (Lowest to Highest):

Mundane Story: Everyday stories or common backstories. Weak and with limited influence.

Sub Story : Stories that are basically side character type, not having much influence over the world. Basically not Main character stories.

Main story: Like basically a story of a very influental perskn that fundamentally shaped them, like Batman's origin story.

Myth-Grade Story : Now this is the juicy stuff

Stories that are similar to real myths or legends (e.g., Hercules, Thor).

Great Fable: Stories that transcend individual myths and reshape reality. Usually universe-impacting.

Mythical Fable: Near-godlike stories, revered across multiple realities.

Ultimate Fable / Final Narrative: Highest tier. A story that redefines or completes the universe's narrative itself. Very few beings possess it.

(Basically like a Main Character story, like in Invincible Mark became Emperor, or Lelouch killed himself to save the world, etc.)

What Determines a Story's Rank?

Originality: Unique or self-created stories are more powerful.

Impact: How much the story affects the world or universe.

Completion: Reaching the end of a story.

Audience/Fame: The more beings who acknowledge or witness the story, the stronger it becomes.

Stability: A story that endures without being overwritten or absorbed I.e. the story doesn't thought to be someone else's.

This way, Thragg basically in a higher world can compete.

So! Now the options for worlds.

There are 2 right now:

GOD OF WAR (upscaled through stories, and once done, forever, even if he goes back to previous conquered world, besides when going to a lower one till its conquered.)

Or

ONE PIECE (lower world so nerfed again till he conquers it)

So yeah, hope you all don't mind.

And don't worry, these rankings and all that won't be really important to understand, I'll just explain in the chapters that's relevant what powers he gets from what stories.

Though, do tell me, what kind of power do you think Thragg will get from the story:

Terror of the Universe

Or from:

Slaughtered of the Beast of the Stars

Both basically Myth Grade stories, making Thragg in God of War basically like equal to Zeus and all that - Multiversal and all that.

Well, I hope you guys don't dislike this or find this making things too complicated and understand why with how I made Thragg and how though prideful - with him being very cautious and not arrogant -

He won't walk inside bigger worlds without guarentee of being able to protect himself or those he cares about.

He won't leave his Empire without its Emperor, destabilising the elevation he brought for possible elevation of worlds where he also possible can do nothing and ruins what he himself has already made.

And this isn't about being cowardly, it's about him not knowing how unknown beings would react to an other reality being stepping into theirs. Not knowing If this way he'll be walking into instant death.

It's being tactical.

So again:

One Piece or God of War?

I'm personally leaning towards God of War, but you guys may convince me - this poll after all isn't a guarentee for the winning world to be chosen first, its about me considering you guys perspective as readers.

Well, I hope to see you all later,

Bye!
