Chapter 4
Weston's POV:
Life has been a rollercoaster for me, I had ups and downs... mostly downs(〒﹏〒).
I've always lived my life worrying about something, it's either the rent, or money for food, or the light bills...just more problems.
Before I even graduated from school, I had problems, I had to pay for tuition and so I borrowed and worked my ass off to pay for it slowly, I had to stay up all night studying just so I could get good grades and have better chances of getting a good job after graduation, I didn't have any friends...yh I know you're wondering how but it's just life when you're focused on one thing and that is surviving other things become irrelevant.
I had to be careful around the rich kids at school and be careful not to fall in love as love can be sweet but it can also be poison, a means to manipulate someone, I just didn't want to fall victim to that shit.
As time went on, it became a routine.
When I finally graduated I thought the hell was over, I thought all I had to do now was just get a job and everything will be alright...but I was wrong.
Job hunting wasn't easy especially for someone with no connections. I went to a good school, yes, but that isn't enough to get you a job.
After some months I finally got a job,
I was on cloud nine, but being a nurse wasn't easy, but it was better than not having a job.
I was working in a big hospital which was pretty well known and I was paid good money. Life was great untill I offended a powerful person at the hospital...not offended actually, I reported someone and apparently it cost me my job, dude was sexually assaulting the ladies at work and I was in the wrong for reporting him, he had connections so.....u know the rest (╥﹏╥).
Enough of the sad memories, it's time for me to make change in my life. God almighty has blessed with a device that doubles the money I spend, I have to move on and also move to my kitchen and cook something I'm starving.
I made a nice meal and gave some steak to the dog(Jimmy), I'll buy him some expensive treats later.
Well time to watch some TV.
*Bang bang bang*
Who's knocking?
I can swear I'm not expecting anyone today, except.....
"Weston!!"
Damn it it's the landlord.
*Weston, open this damned door!"
"Uuum sir, I'm coming just give me a moment".
I immediately stand up and head for the door.
"Good evening Mr Halmon".I say to the grumpy old man.
'Damn he looks pissed'
"My money Weston"
He says with his hand stretched expecting something to be on it...money.
"I just need one more day to pay you I promise, just one more day."
I say giving him my best puppy eyes.
Some at a glance see a grumpy old man but he's like family to me, he's so understanding and has a soft spot for me as he knows my life story... he's a sweetheart guys

"Hmmmm, I have a family to feed Weston, just give me that money by tomorrow, I've tried for you.Good night Weston."
"Good night Mr Halmon, I won't let you down I promise!."
Halmon just waves at me as he walks away.
Just wish I can pay today but the money isn't complete, meaning I have some spending to do tomorrow.
'I have a feeling tomorrow will be wonderful'.
I close the door and turn around to see Jimmy in a peeing position.
"Jimmy don't you dare!!!"
*Pees*
