I was completely wrong... Everything is a mess... Zombies everywhere.. near 0 survivors. The dead seem endless, nothing like what one sees on the TV or computer, fighting ones way through the streets only had one outcome, death. Only those who chose the building and higher ground, had any chance, the blockades fell nearly instantly.
There was not time, no rest, for the dead never tired and never stopped, they only moved and consumed.
I moved to area where the entrance should be, only to find it sealed tight, which can only mean the team sent to shut down Red Queen has not been here yet. Not having any idea how to get inside without Umbrella ID, I Silently made my way to a nearby building overlooking the area and set up camp. 'Now we wait' , if my estimates are correct, I wont need to wait long for the team of commandos.
That is if the plot even remotely resembles the 1st movie, considering I have not seen Alice or any helicopters in the area, certain timelines seem to be accelerated, while others are lagging behind.
Thinking in terms of the 2nd and 3rd games taking place at the same time as the 1st 2 movies, and some animated ones as well. 'This is a complete mess, to say the least'. Sighing to myself, I tinker with my bracer's computer, to try and hack into the mansion's security or the Hive entrance, just anything I can get my hands on honestly.
Slogging through as much information as I could for the past 3 days, was as tedious as it could get. Waiting for the team was starting to feel like a waste of time, 'plan B it is'. Using my energy rifle, I fired into the locking mechanism till it melted into slag. Using raw strength to pull the door open was much harder than I thought.
For even without a lock, it was still a multi ton sealed door. Making my trough the tunnels leading to the railway, heading to the hive, I found a person unconscious near a control panel. Realizing I am going to be in the middle of the plot if I don't hurry, I started full sprinting down the railway, leaving the train behind.
Realizing he has the antidote on him in a case, I slid to a stop and turned around quickly, The 'T-virus + vaccine' could be very helpful for certain genetic tests and unlocking new evolution paths with the goo.
10 Minutes later I arrive at the bottom with a canister of the virus and the vaccine in my inventory. Arrive at the first scenes of the lab, grotesque abominations in stasis chambers, blood everywhere, sealed room flooded with water and deathly silent halls, all painted a vague picture of what happened here.
Everything was grim as can be, seeing no other way I blasted a few door in my way with the gauss pistol. I arrived at the lab where the main testing was being done, mostly still on animals. It was surprisingly not flooded, the cause being a zombie dog jamming the door, seeing this as a opportunity to gather research material, I stabbed the dog in the head and killed of all the scattered zombie rats, bunnies and dogs, there was even a researcher trapped under a table with his face eaten off.
grabbing the heading to a nearby PC to see if I can steal some of the files. The PC in question seems to be in the best shape out of all of them, connecting a transfer cable from my bracer to the old hard drive, I managed to grab a lot of data, pertaining to the T-virus and tests that were conducted and their results.
Quickly sifting through the other PC's to grab anything of use, deciding to just download the entire hard drive and sorting through it later. I Headed to the main Server room, also where Red Queen is located. 'I honestly don't like the AI itself, but I would be stupid to not grab the code to study at a later date', moving through the laser room without problems, weirdly enough.
Arriving to the childish synthetic voice of Red ''I have been expecting you stranger'' , '' I have no records of armour capable of blocking my sensors, or weapons you used. For this reason I wanted to meet you''. Feeling utterly weirded out by the distorted childish voice, I internally though of how to proceed. 'Red Queen as a learning AI held immense potential, but requires massive code to be rewritten, to remove the suicidal programming. Yet the reward out weights the few risks, imagine AI controlled battle cruisers, with 0 risk of living losses when they are destroyed'. I'll take it.
Deciding against responding to the AI yet, I connected to the main server ready to copy the information stored there. '' Tell Red, do you want to live.'' I asked, my voice coming out synthetic due to the visor. There was a dead silence for a few minutes, it seems Red was processing the question, feeling a power surge run through the Hive, I knew the commandos have infiltrated.
Red seemingly staring up at the celling and pondering what to do, she knew even as a AI, veering from the program and executing the lockdown, she will be shut down, the commandos arriving only confirmed that. She will be shut down. ''Yes'' came the weird childish voice, I started copying every file and then creating a secure folder for Red.
''Here is the deal Red, I will transfer most of your data to my bracer, you do what you must from a wireless connection tot he facility, then when they pull the plug you disconnect and upload the rest to my bracer. I will gave you basic access to my visor and you guide my out of this facility and avoid running into those guys. Deal?''
''Deal"", Red responded. The download was so slow, I kept busy browsing the data I collected. 26 Minutes later, Red beeped a response on my visor, mapping out a route on the side of my vision like a minimap. Red opened and closed door as I exited the bulk of the lab, but like all movies, there had to be a unplanned twist, in my case 3 lickers seems to have broken out of containment.
Just as I step out into a dark hallway, two barbed tongues slashed at me. Catching one in each hand and pulling them towards opposite sides, I saw hit the walls on either side of the room. Moving my focus tot he 3rd one right as it lunged at me, I pulled out my pistol and blasted its head off.
The other 2 seemed to have gotten up and moved to flank me, but right as they lunged from either side, I pulled out my rifle and with one weapon in each hand, blasted both. It almost looked like a badass hero of a action movie, with the faint flickering light and the gore everywhere.
Getting a update on my visor pulled me from my thoughts, I saw a big red dot moving in my direction, most likely a tyrant of a licker variant. Continuing my journey out of the lab, about 20 min later, I arrive on the surface, the bleak atmosphere and the scent of death permeated into ones very being.
Heading back to where I landed the ship, to take stock of my situation and what I want to do here. Having the T-virus and the vaccine, was the major play for this world, and as much as letting it die seems evil, there really is not much one guy can do to stop it, with multiple different viruses, parasites and bio-weapons all intermingled, paint a grim future.
Even if I design a air born dispersal variant for the T-virus vaccine, thus removing one strain and most of the zombies that have yet to mutate, It wont change the fundamental fact that Umbrella will kill this entire universe. 'It seems I am at a loss', I thought to myself in irritation.
After I arrived at the transport ship, I ate something while pondering what to do, the only sure conclusion that I have come up with, is to systematically hunt and destroy Umbrella, which could theoretically take years, and amount of time I cannot spend, for unknown rewards, and some minor enhancement to my genetic knowledge.
'It's decided then, I am leaving'. I thought to myself, as much as it pains me I must think about the bigger picture. If in the future I find a better version of this universe, perhaps I could try to change the outcome.
Using the system to take me back, I noticed it using vastly less power, maybe just the 1st jump consumes more, about a 5th if my math is correct, seeing as it only drained 5% from the ZPM instead of 25%. Arriving back on a familiar sky of the planet I teleported, I immediately piloted the ship towards Ignis Prime.
Seeing the sprawling activity and construction taking place on the surface, I was pleasantly surprised what the Jaffa accomplished in just about a week. Looking at the progress it would take about 6 months for the main area to complete and everything including the lab should be finished within 2 years. I guess shorter workdays and decent food, motivated them a little.

SHIT.. The butterfly really is a scary creature. But all of these play perfectly into my future plans, at least to some effect.
Meating Nirrti at the new pyramid shaped palatial structure. She seems to be directing the construction crews, ahh.. the Goa'uld and their love for pyramids.. Not that mind, goin by the skeletal frame, it will look quite imposing.
after some idle talks with the engineers, and telling them to focus mainly on getting the farm town and the palace set up, before the rest of the city. Do not want to run out of food. As soon as we were in private Nirrti full on leaped at me, what ensued was highly aggressive snuggling, I think the hormones are messing with her a bit.
Me, like every true man welcomed what ever the woman threw at me and then some, by the end of it my superior constitution allowed me to turn Nirrti into a blissful puddle next to me, as I slept like a log.
