Wraith no 4's mind simply refused to believe that he could be matched by Bella. With how prideful he was, there was no way he was going to accept his defeat that easily.
Honestly, it wasn't his fault. There were a lot of factors contributing to his current difficult situation. First was his injury. The exploding talisman had done much more damage than any of his teammates had expected.
Because of the chaos that ensued, he had not been able to take any healing pill or potion. Now those 'little injuries' were starting to have a big effect.
Also, the Wraiths were assassins. They excelled the most when they were ambushing their targets and catching them off guard. Now that they were forced into a head-on fight, they were put in a difficult situation.
With Bella's skills, Wraith no 4 was quickly put in a difficult position. However, that didn't mean that Bella had it easy. While there was no change in her appearance outwardly, she was actually struggling.
