I raised my eyebrow slowly.
"I do not look useful?"
She looked back at me.
"You look like a spoiled rich brat." She replied.
Amias strode in and widened his eyes at the scene. He ran to the defense officer's side immediately.
"Please, save my patron. He's such a nice man, I'll lose profit if he dies."
"Your patron should save himself, I'm here to hunt a vampire." She answered back as she walked to the entrance and pulled her sword from the wooden board.
The man dragged me to the side swiftly. I acted powerless, planning my next move.
"And you call yourself a defense guard, how are you a defense guard if you don't save the resident of the town you defend?" I inquired and everyone in the tavern shook their heads in agreement.
"Keep quiet!" The man holding me hostage yelled.
She looked at me in annoyance.
"Get ready to die." She said as she pointed her sword towards him.
