Itachi, in the stands, frowned. He saw Dodai's strategy was perfectly designed to counter Izumi.
In this confined space, Izumi, lacking powerful, large-scale destructive jutsu, would struggle to break through Dodai's "Rubber Wall."

Itachi's eyes lit up, his worry replaced by curiosity and anticipation. He wanted to know Izumi's secret trump card.
Izumi searched the arena with Susanoo, unable to find Dodai hidden in the yellow rubber. She looked frustrated.
She hadn't expected her opponent to employ such a defensive strategy.
"Looks like I have to use this. It's ugly, but it's the best way to win."
Sighing, Izumi quickly formed hand seals.
"Summoning Jutsu!"
With Izumi's completion of the hand seals, a gigantic, grotesque, and eerily menacing spiritual entity materialized in the center of the arena—the Shinigami, the summoning beast entrusted to Izumi by Yusuke.
However, due to the Shinigami's ethereal nature, very few ninjas in the arena could actually perceive its presence.
Almost all the ninjas merely sensed a faint, chilling, and unsettling aura in the surrounding area, but they didn't pay it much mind.

Gazing down at the expansive expanse of yellow rubber that had enveloped the entire arena, Izumi issued instructions to the Shinigami that had materialized before her.
"Locate the individual who is currently concealed beneath the ground and apprehend him; however, I must stress that under no circumstances are you permitted to inflict fatal injuries upon him!"
With Izumi's command issued, the Shinigami immediately charged towards Dodai, who remained hidden beneath the protective membrane barrier.
Dodai's spiritual energy proved no match for the Shinigami's perceptive abilities. Even with the protective membrane barrier serving as a form of concealment, the Shinigami instantly pinpointed Dodai's location.
Although the protective membrane barrier was exceptionally robust, it proved incapable of impeding the ethereal form of the Shinigami.
At that very moment, Dodai found himself overcome by a profound sense of foreboding, as if some terrifying entity was rapidly approaching him.
Employing various escape techniques within the rubbery substance of the protective membrane barrier, Dodai attempted to evade the unknown entity that was relentlessly closing in upon him.
However, with the Shinigami operating from a position of concealment, it was only a matter of time before it closed the distance.
Extending a sharp claw from its abdomen, the Shinigami pierced Dodai's body, effortlessly seizing his soul.
Despite Dodai's desperate struggle, his dwindling chakra reserves rendered him utterly incapable of countering the Shinigami's power.
In short order, his soul was completely extracted from his body, leaving his physical form devoid of life and unresponsive to his commands.
