A competitive spark flared in Addison's chest. She twisted aside from an incoming strike, stepped into the attacker's blind spot, and dragged a dagger across its throat. She didn't hesitate when the next rogue came at her in wolf form; she simply put more strength behind the cut.
Then another. Two quick slashes, two rogues collapsing.
Addison kept her feet moving, planting each step carefully in the blood-soaked ground. One slip, one opening, and the enemy would be on her before she could recover.
