Chapter 267 - Chapter 266: The Interrogation

Even though he'd already vented some of his frustrations with Shizuko, Ryuji intended to treat her seriously. Their passion had been fierce, yes, but he'd still held himself back.

This woman, though... the female thief he'd literally collided with...was another story.

A sly smile tugged at his lips.

She's a criminal anyway. If bad people end up being treated badly, isn't that only natural?

Ryuji didn't for a moment believe this woman was like him... someone from another world.

But the smile on his face made the skintight-suited woman in his arms shiver. Her mind flashed to one terrifying possibility.

Wait… this bastard isn't planning to use me and then kill me, is he?

She had seen that exact smile before... on the faces of true monsters. More than once, she'd nearly ended up as their prey. The memory alone made her break into a cold sweat.

No. I need to run. This man... he's too dangerous.

After all, if she had any kind of supernatural talent, it should have awakened long ago. And his hands… his methods… he was far too skilled with women. She might be good, but a man like him wouldn't trust anyone so easily.

I really need to escape.

Her conviction grew stronger by the second. Survival came first.

And yet....

But what if he tries me once… and becomes addicted?

That reckless thought lit a spark inside her. Slowly, she slid her hand downward, into his pants, feeling around until she brushed against the long dick that had been pressing against her stomach this whole time.

Her eyes widened instantly.

This hardness… incredible!

Her mouth fell open in disbelief, then with her fingers and palm began to stroke instinctively.

Ryuji almost lost control. He nearly dropped his concentration on the presence-suppression technique... a skill he wasn't exactly fluent in.

So he grabbed her ass hard enough to make her flinch, forcing her to let go.

She blinked, surprised. He can still hold back… even after that?

But in that single instant of chaos, the concealment was broken.

"Who's there?!"

The silver-haired man didn't hesitate. His pistol was already drawn, gleaming silver like his hair, and in the next breath he fired straight toward Ryuji's position.

The bullet wasn't aimed at Ryuji, though... it was aimed at the woman in his arms.

Her blood ran cold. This is it…

But before the thought was complete, Ryuji's hand flicked sharply. The bullet veered away, deflected midair.

The silver-haired man's eyes narrowed. He fired again.

This time, Ryuji blocked the bullet with nothing more than a small knife.

"What....?!"

The man's pupils contracted. He'd heard of swordsmen who could slice bullets with a katana, but this… blocking a bullet with a knife? Unbelievable.

He fired again in disbelief.

But Ryuji was done being passive.

Shards of ice burst into existence all around him, countless spears forming in an instant and streaking toward the silver-haired man. Along the way, they shattered incoming bullets, striking with terrifying precision.

Forced onto the defensive, the silver-haired man yanked a disposable subordinate into his path, using the body as a human shield.

Ryuji's arm swept again. The ice melted into water, then surged forward, wrapping around the man's ankles like living chains.

If the silver-haired man had shown murderous intent, then so would he. Ryuji fully intended to crush the man's legs and kill everyone else in the room.

Well, maybe not everyone. The long-haired woman clearly looked coerced. She could be spared.

But then something strange happened.

The silver-haired man suddenly exploded with speed, inhumanly fast, tearing free of the water's grasp. In a blink, he was out of Ryuji's range. His voice snapped across the room:

"Vodka! Move!"

"Yes, Boss Gin!"

The fat subordinate... Vodka... snatched up his submachine gun and unleashed a wild barrage. Bullets tore through the air, forcing Ryuji to shield Misato and the thief-woman with a wall of water.

Just as Gin and Vodka leapt through the window and Ryuji thought it was over... two grenades clattered onto the floor.

Ryuji's eyes widened. They'd tossed them just outside the reach of his water manipulation. He had no time. All he could do was whip up a dense water mist and brace.

The grenades landed right among the men they'd brought with them.

The long-haired beauty's face turned pale as she stared at the grenades Vodka had just thrown.

Fear of death clawed at her heart but the feeling of regret was stronger. Regret that she would die without ever seeing her lover one last time.

She shut her eyes, bracing for the end.

But in that instant, a stream of water coiled around her waist like a living serpent, yanking her into a protective torrent.

The grenades went off.

A violent shockwave ripped through the room. Shrapnel shredded flesh in an instant... the unlucky henchmen didn't even have time to scream before they were reduced to a blur of blood and flesh.

But not a single fragment reached Ryuji, or the women sheltered behind him.

"Cold-blooded bastards… ruthless to the core."

Ryuji frowned at the mangled corpses.

That one word... Vodka... had told him everything. The silver-haired man had to be Gin. Which meant he, Misato, and this unlucky thief had just run headlong into members of the Black Organization.

But that raised another question.

Why the hell would Black Organization members sneak in at midnight to forge fake IDs?

Their reach was massive and their resources were vast.

Ryuji frowned, deeply puzzled.

Surely they didn't need to stoop this low, right?

His gaze fell on the trembling, long-haired woman still on the floor.

No more words were needed. Gunfire, grenades... anyone with half a brain knew police would be swarming the area soon. Interrogation here was impossible.

So he would take them home instead.

Home and to the basement hidden beneath the apartment he shared with Misato.

"Your team already abandoned you," Ryuji said flatly. "So if you're smart, just come with us. Understand?"

Streams of water curled tightly around the long-haired woman's body. She flinched at the strange water wrapped around her, then quickly nodded.

"I understand. I do."

Inside, she cursed Gin for his merciless betrayal. But she wasn't about to resist. She still had people she wanted to save... someone she desperately wanted to see again. She couldn't afford to die here.

"Good."

Ryuji took a deep breath. With a woman in each hand, he leapt down with Misato and retreated swiftly.

Gin and Vodka were already gone... he couldn't sense them anywhere nearby. Ruthlessly sacrificing subordinates for their own escape might be despicable, but it was undeniably effective.

The wail of police sirens was already rising. Ryuji didn't hesitate. He and Misato had left no traces behind, and he had no intention of lingering here any longer.

The two mysterious women, bound by flowing water, remained quiet. They weren't stupid; until they understood what kind of man Ryuji was, they wouldn't risk a move.

Thus, the group returned smoothly to his house.

The moment they stepped inside, the long-haired woman remained docile. But the thief in the skintight suit simply collapsed onto the sofa. Crossing her long legs, arching her chest showing her cleavage, she removed her hood to reveal a cascade of glamorous wavy hair.

Then, ignoring the water still clinging to her skin, she raised one slender leg and massaged her calf, flashing Ryuji a sultry smile.

"It's been so long since I walked this much," she purred. "Handsome, why don't you rub my legs for me? Then we can shower together… and do what we both know we're dying to do."

Her voice dripped with seduction. She knew perfectly well Ryuji was a lecher and she had no doubt her charms would work.

And indeed, she noticed his cock was still primed for action.

But Ryuji didn't move.

Not yet. Not before he got answers.

He shoved the fragile long-haired woman onto the sofa beside the thief and sat across from them with a serious expression.

"Your names. The organization you belong to. Tell me now, or I won't be polite."

With a snap of his fingers, the atmosphere changed. Both women's faces paled instantly.

Streams of water, guided by Ryuji's will, slithered toward their most vulnerable places. The woman in the skintight suit was hit the hardest, clutching at her stomach as cold liquid invaded her deepest core. She could even feel her once-flat belly bulging unnaturally from the inside, the icy sensation leaving her breathless and on the verge of crying out.

And behind her… something else was drilling its way in, making her feel even more unbearable.

The other long-haired beauty, however, was spared that particular torment. When Ryuji pressed his water against her, he discovered something unexpected her purity was still intact. She hadn't been touched, not in front, nor in back.

Ryuji's lips curled into a faint smile. Two more tendrils of water lashed out, swirling menacingly just beside their noses and ears.

"If you don't talk, the next place they go will be your lungs… or maybe… your brain."

At present, his limit was only two thin streams at once. Ironically, manipulating a larger mass of water was less taxing than this delicate torture.

"I'll talk! I'll talk!"

The bodysuit woman knew men far too well... she could tell immediately that Ryuji was completely serious. Gasping for breath, she forced a pitiful expression onto her face and hurriedly confessed.

"My name is Fujiko Mine. I'm a thief by profession. I came here to steal something, posing as a museum staff member. That's why I needed to forge government credentials!"

Her words came without hesitation, and for good reason.

She was already wanted, after all. One glance at the newspapers would reveal her name and her jewel heist. Better to spit it all out than risk suffocating from water filling her lungs.

Yes...she knew without a doubt that Ryuji wasn't bluffing. If she stayed silent, he really would drown her from the inside.

"Damn it! Why did I have to run into a monster like this?!"

Fujiko Mine…

Recognition struck Ryuji instantly. No wonder she had reeked of experience the moment he laid eyes on her, and why he'd been so tempted to test her skills in bed. She was once hailed in Japanese animation as the most perfect and the most sensual woman.

Countless "mature woman" types in anime.... including the very Misato sitting nearby, now glaring at him like he was some perverted demon.. had drawn inspiration from her.

As for the woman herself…

What could be said? She was forever paired with Lupin III, though their "romance" was infamous... she could sleep with anyone and everyone, but never with him.

Videos of her were always steeped in danger, seduction, and that R-rated charm. She loved jewels, money, and would betray anyone without a second thought.

Even the Cat's Eye sisters that Ryuji knew well. strictly speaking, even they were heavily inspired by this very thief.

But one thing he was sure of: with a woman like this, the best he could do was enjoy a fling. Making her a true wife was impossible. With a woman like Fujiko, no ordinary means could ever stop her from cheating.

Lupin III was the perfect example.

He had been her most loyal simp for decades, and yet... even now, he had never truly had her.

It's been Decades!

"Good. Next."

Ryuji turned his gaze on the other long-haired woman. Fujiko at least carried a certain unique allure, an aura that made her recognizable. But this one? There was nothing striking about her at all. Which was why Ryuji was already prepared: once she revealed her intel, both of them would be locked in his basement until this mission was over.

what happened to them afterward would depend entirely on his mood.

As for Fujiko... he had already decided he would test her skills in bed, at least once. A fast food meal, nothing more.

Yet to his surprise, the gentle-looking girl across from him shattered his expectations with a single line:

"I… I can't say. Please… just kill me."

"…What?"

Even Fujiko blinked in shock. She hadn't expected this girl to say something so drastic... especially after just being betrayed by her own comrades.

Ryuji hadn't expected it either, but then again… remembering the Black Organization's style, he quickly understood.

"…You have family trapped in the Organization, don't you?"

He frowned, studying her closely.

He'd already guessed.

The women simply nodded. That was exactly why she wouldn't give him any information and she also knew that if she did betray the Organization, it would mean her sister's death. Better to die herself than cause that.

So she looked at Ryuji without flinching, though there was a quiet sorrow behind her eyes.

"Yes," she said softly. "My younger sister is still inside the Organization. If I reveal anything about them, she'll be killed. So please… kill me. I will never give you their secrets."

Ryuji let out a small, almost amused chuckle.

"So," he said, the smile curving at the corner of his mouth, "are you trying to get yourself killed, Miyano Akemi?"

The long-haired woman's eyes widened at the name.
