It didn't take long for Ryan to arrive at the park where he usually trained.
Considering he was a superhuman, the fact that he was panting so heavily was rather amusing.
He must have rushed all the way here.
"…Nora?"
The moment he spotted me, his eyes immediately began searching the area behind me.
I couldn't help clicking my tongue.
"Bastard. You're looking for Nora right away?"
Ryan flinched.
"W-What? No, I just—"
"Relax. It's a lie, idiot. Why would I be with her at this hour?"
His shoulders visibly relaxed.
However, I wasn't about to let him off that easily.
"We just had some tea and parted ways."
His expression froze.
He stared at me as though someone had just struck him from behind.
I almost burst out laughing.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that? You indirectly rejected Nora's request to be her partner, didn't you? So, I figured I could ask her instead."
