"Damn it…!"
A boy kicked a trash can in a park near the academy.
The trash can had been firmly bolted to the ground, but when a superhuman poured all his strength into a single kick, even the sturdy metal fixture couldn't withstand the impact.
CLANG!
The trash can broke loose, toppled over, and rolled across the pavement. Its contents spilled everywhere, scattering scraps of paper, empty bottles, and discarded food wrappers across the ground.
The boy barely spared it a glance.
"Bastards! Every last one of them!"
His face twisted with anger as he recalled what had happened earlier that day.
Those ungrateful bastards from the club had abandoned him without a second thought. The moment things went wrong, they'd started making excuses, pretending they had nothing to do with the incident.
And what had they done to him?
They'd practically thrown him to the wolves!
All because he'd tried to teach a disrespectful junior a lesson.
And then there was that black-haired bastard.
