He drew a card from his Graveyard slot.
"I revive the monster I discarded earlier with Graceful Charity! Come back, Wish Dragon!"

This was another dragon Chazz possessed in the manga.
"Wish Dragon's effect! By Tributing this card, I can Special Summon two Dragon Tokens to the field!"
Wish Dragon dissolved into motes of light, which reconverged on both sides to manifest two smaller dragon forms resembling the original.

Chazz took a deep breath.
"I know. Even though your field looks completely cleared, your backrow still hides something, doesn't it?" Chazz said.
Yugen: "..."
"No, maybe not just the backrow. It could be lurking in your hand for all I know... Heh, I know what kind of guy you are." Chazz scoffed. "Always that calm, composed expression. No matter how far I push or how tight the corner I back you into, you always look completely confident. That's what pisses me off the most!"
His tone suddenly surged, rising sharply.
"But! This is where it all ends!" Chazz bellowed. "Watch closely, Yugen! This is the ultimate power I encountered after returning from hell, the symbol of my Rebirth Through Fire! I Tribute the two Dragon Tokens on my field!"
A white vortex kicked up, and both Dragon Tokens dissolved into motes of light within the tempest.
"Shine, wings of radiance! Devour, abyss of darkness! Descend at the boundary of light and shadow"
Chazz raised the card high as an endless storm of contrasting light and dark erupted from it.
"Light and Darkness Dragon, summon!!!"
One half was pristine, radiant light, while the other was pitch-black nether darkness. The contradictory dual colors converged along the majestic dragon's form; one eye burned like a blazing sun, while the other was as deep as the endless night.

"Light and darkness... What kind of monster is that?" Syrus cried out in shock.
"This sacred aura... Is this Chazz's new ace monster?" Bastion muttered.
A divine halo bathed the entire field around the ethereal dragon. Even without natural sensitivity to Duel Spirits, everyone present could instinctively feel that this monster was far beyond ordinary.
"Kurikuri!" Jaden's Winged Kuriboh floated out.
"A Spirit, huh?" Jaden's eyes lit up. "Man, Chazz bonded with such an incredible Spirit..."

Light and Darkness Dragon possessed the formidable ability to negate the activation of a monster effect or Spell/Trap Card by losing 500 ATK and DEF. Moreover, this effect was mandatoryits controller had no choice but to activate it.
However, it could only negate when a Spell or Trap Card was initially "activated." When a Continuous Spell already on the field resolved its continuous or triggered effect, Light and Darkness Dragon could not negate it.

If he hadn't drawn Mini-Guts this turn and crashed an Ojama Token, this Trap would have completely shut him down.
But now...
"Futile!" Chazz raised his hand and shouted. "The effect of Light and Darkness Dragon! Whenever a Spell, Trap, or monster effect is activated, this card must lose 500 ATK and DEF, and that activation is negated!"

The entire audience fell into stunned silence upon hearing that effect.
What kind of terrifying power was that?!
