"Did we see a ghost? What happened here?"
"Oh my god, did we encounter a supernatural event?"
"Where is this place? Why is it like a sandstorm? Where did those special forces go?"
A dozen mercenaries were incredibly bewildered by the scene before them, even beginning to doubt if they were hallucinating. They seemed to have been swept into a whirlwind of raging sand, everything around them blurry, their sense of direction completely lost.
Despite being seasoned mercenaries with extensive knowledge, the sudden change left them feeling terrified. It was just too eerie and horrifying.
They tried to turn around and retreat, but what was suffocating was that they couldn't find their way back.
"What's going on? We just took two steps forward and it became like this? Why is it still like this when we try to go back?" Bat shouted anxiously.
