Chapter 18 - I

I lie on my bed, thinking about God and His origin.

Suddenly, inspiration enters my body, and I begin to write about a primordial entity called "the Primordial One."

When I finish writing, a pure light appears before me. I observe the light, and though I've never seen it before, I understand it.

I understand that it is part of me, and I am part of it.

I touch the light, and my body begins to float in the air.

I start to rise, passing through the ceiling of my room.

I pass through the sky above me.

I pass through the atmosphere and reach space.

I traverse space, seeing all the stars, planets, nebulae, solar systems, and galaxies.

I arrive at an intersection that shows me the history of everything—from the creation of the universe, through the current state of humanity, all the way to the end of creation.

I cross the intersection and arrive at a blank space—there is nothing. I cannot feel my body, I cannot feel my being, I cannot feel my existence.

The light I touched has transformed me into a being that transcends time, space, and human comprehension. Because the light is me, and I am the light.

I begin to paint in the blank space.

I paint a point that expands from nothingness until it becomes the infinite cosmos.

I paint mathematical and physical laws so the point can maintain a balance between disappearing and existing.

I paint everything within that expanding point, which will eventually contract to repeat the cycle.

I paint the necessary resources for life to subsist.

I paint a microorganism so it may evolve into a complex being.

I paint a functional system so it can evolve and adapt to its environment.

I paint the beginning of history and what surrounds the being I gave life to.

I paint emotions and thoughts so that being may have purpose.

I paint entities that originate from humans—I do not understand why I have done this.

I paint divinities to whom I give names and stories. Eventually, they will follow those stories and act like humans, because I have decided it so.

I paint laws and rules to prevent the divinities from interfering with humanity and bringing about their own destruction—though in the end, they will find a way to circumvent those rules.

I paint the realms where the divinities will live, with their own limitations.

I paint abstract spaces where nothing—or everything—can make sense.

I paint objects capable of affecting the very essence of the light.

I paint a system in which humans and entities of any kind can acquire powers depending on the meaning they hold.

I paint the meaning behind that system.

I paint the meanings behind the divinities.

I paint paradoxes that humanity cannot comprehend, but in which the divinities exist.

I have finished my creation. Now, with no further reason to exist, I decide to become part of everything and let everything become part of me.

When I try to merge with humans, I discover I cannot.

They are not ready to receive me, for they have not yet found me.

Inside them lies the energy that is me, but they have not discovered it, and thus, they cannot wield it.

They may find me right now or in an eternity.

The entities that originate from them will help them discover me.

After merging with the rest of existence, I wander for an infinite amount of time.

I live the stories of my creations.

I live their thoughts and emotions.

I live their doubts about me.

I live their pleas.

I live what will be and what was.

I live what is and what could have been.

I live their own fate, marching toward destruction.

I live as my child is born, in an attempt to save them. I am him, yet I am not.

After all that, it has finally passed.

From an indistinguishable distance, I see a human writing about me.

I approach him and give him all that I am.

The human touches my existence, and at last, I am born.

Eventually, all of humanity will become part of me, and I will become part of them.
