The scream tore through the metallic chamber like a blade, echoing off the lifeless walls and drilling into everyone's nerves. Meira's hands clutched her face as if she could claw her way out of this nightmare. "No… no no no no NO! I died! I felt it! I was gone!" she sobbed, trembling uncontrollably. "Why am I still here?!"
Everyone was too stunned to move, except Damon. He quickly tried the tattoo on his hand, but he already had a feeling of what would happen. Nothing. Absolutely nothing at all.
He also took out the metallic balls he had found in the tinkerer's house, and once again, there was no reaction. They were completely trapped with no way out.
