After I got kicked out of my home I took off from my fathers teritory. On the edge is a dungeon so you can meet some adventurers sometimes but, not too many.
I already was here but, never went in as I lacked proper equipment. Thankfully I have some food and things to camp plus weapons which I got for one gold and 500 silver coins.
"Well let's see what this dungeon hides.".
As I entered the dungeon the torches on the walls lit up through out the coridor. Revealing the path into the depths of first floor. As I steped across the door frame, the doors closed themselves behind me.
"Mana field. Hmm three monsters ahead.".
As I continued through the coridor I encountered 3 slimes. "Air bullet.".
I took them out by hitting their magic cores and swiftly picked them off while maintaining the mana field around me so no one could ambush me. Now I bet you're wondering I thought that monsters have mana cores well not exactly and let me explain why.
Beasts that live outside are rabbits, wolfes, tigers, chimeras, dragons, wyverns, horses and other lifestock have mana or elemental cores. Now magic crystals don't have an afinity like mana cores do and can be found in monsters like slimes, skeletons, ghouls, trolls, goblins mostly ( some cases have also mana core and are able to use magic), hobgoblins, werewolfs, minotaurs. Now as for value magic crystals can serve as catalyst for artifacts and are little bit more expensive. Mana cores can be used in weapons and equipment to boost wearers afinity and add some skills to the piece of equipment. As for livestock their mana cores are little bit different. If livestock creates elemental core which is mana core with afinity of different element they are considered as a beast and are taken down to prevent further evolution. So mana core with afinity is elemental core while without it it's normal mana core which can be found even in humans and other races.
Now for humans it starts as normal mana core and later on with training it slowly turns into elemental core with different afinities.
As I progresed through first floor of the dungeon I found few rooms with chests and equipment probably left by some adventurers.
In these chests can be found either few coins, weapons or magic crystals or a mimic.
Sometimes you can get your hands on scrolls with skills or ancient spells but, those need to be translated by specialist. Good thing I learned ancient language and can save up a lot because having someone translate it is very expensive.
First floor is pretty easy considered there are only slimes. As I found stairs to second floor after nearly 2 hours I encountered first monster and it was none other than skeleton. Skeletons are easy to defeat as well as slimes but after you crash their skull you need to grab the crystal inside and store it before they regenerate. That way they loose conection to the core and will be defeated but, still some people fell because they weren't paying attention to that detail and just took the crystal without putting it into either item box or special bag which can be bought in adventurers guild. Now this can be tricky sometimes because some can regenerate quicker than others and there is no way how to know before defeating them.
For skeletons it's good to use spells like fireball or fire lance. Other spells work too but, they are weakest to fire element and it makes sure they can't regenerate if there is nothing to regenerate from.
My experience points are slowly getting up so I'll see how much I'll level up after this dungeon.
As I made my way through various monsters on each level I reached level 20.
I need to take rest here, these monsters are getting more and more difficult and smarter.
It should be night outside now so I'll get some rest.
"Barier.".
This should make sure no one will attack me in my sleep. Now fireplace "Fireball." And lastly sleeping bag. Well I'll start again after I'll take some rest so goodnight.
/Next Morning/
After cleaning up the camp I went to 21st floor which is aparently boss room.
Now let's see what I'll have here. As the lights went on they revealed huge Minotaur with two axes."Now this will be difficult. Come on show me what you can do.".
"As you wish human.".
The Minotaur went straight at me and swiftly swinged his axe at me. I dodged and prepared to dodge the second one. "Wind cutter.".
I shot him into his leg and left a scar across his ancle.
"Do you think your sorcery will save you?".
"I'll see if it does cause by what I see it works.".
As the Minotaur went one swing after another I already prepared another spell. "Let's see how you withstand this one. Hell flare!".
As the spell hit the Minotaur it engulfed him in ball of flames.
"Damm you human. I will show you who is the strongest. Berserker!".
The Minotaur started radiating red aura around his body. His wounds healed and his eyes went bloody red.
"Now this will take something stronger."
Let's try this one. "Earth lance, wind boost, fire lance.".
I combined three spells into one and fired it straight into the Minotaur. As the smoke dicipated the Minotaur was kneeling on one knee and trying to catch it's breath.
"You really pulled of three spells at once. That's a first time I saw someone do that.".
"I'll finnish you with this.".
I created mana blade around my daggers and added wind atribute to it so the blades would vibrate with the speed of sound.
"Mana slash.".
I cutted his head clean off and his body fell to the ground with huge thud.
Good thing I dodged all his attacks or he could end me in one swing.
Now let's take the sweet magic core.
For a second I thought he will light up in fire like some demonic entity.
" Core, hide,horns,teef and that's for materials.".
The next doors opened and revealed gold chest. "Sweet, let's see what's inside.".
As I opened the chest it revealed red crystal. As I took it to the hand the pop up window showed in front of me.
*Evolution crystal aquired*
"Ohh so there are even evolution stones. Let's put it aside maybe it will come in handy sometimes later.".
After that I continued to explore the dungeon. This time I felt like going through one floor for 4 hours or more. Monsters were more cunning and I needed to come up with different strategies and ways to defeat the groups of 4 or six monsters. After what could be whole day I made it only through 4 floors and than needed to take a rest to get some energy. This way it took probably two weeks to go through another 20 floors. I don't know if I can defeat another boss and given that I am seven years old doesn't really help.
I should probably take the teleportation circle to the top and get some more levels and experience.
As I went for the way out the teleportation circle sudenly disapeared in front of me.
"Huh? Are you kidding me? What kind of stupid prank is this?!".
*Quest! Clear out the dungeon to acces the exit!*
"Huh? No way the system just trapped me inside the dungeon.".

"Shop.".
*Poison dagger. Attacks can apply poison to enemies and paralyze them*
*Fire dagger. Applies fire damage on slash, hitted enemies will catch on fire in aplied wounds*
*Wind Lancer. Can create simple spells with wind atribute like wind cutter for ranged attacks*
*Earth Hammer. Can deform enviroment around using earth element*.
These are pretty good weapons. Let's take poison dagger and see how it will work.

Welp I hope I will survive this one because when I get out of here I'll level up my skills some more before going to another dungeon.
As the doors to yet another boss room opened. I stood there with daggers in both hands. My heart beated faster and faster, adrenaline rushed through my veins as I awaited reveal of the boss. As the lights lit on one after another there he was, waiting in the middle of the room. Black armor with spear in his hand. He slowly stood up and his red eyes lit up and looked straight at me.
"I awaited your arival. Let's see how promising you are.".
