Lilac
Riding on Sloan's wolf's back felt so good that I almost never wanted it to end. I was fully aware that Sloan had been skeptical but I was fully convinced that he wouldn't hurt me no matter what. After the ride ended, I alighted the large wolf's back and just rested against his large paws while ranting about him to Sloan himself. I said a lot of things that I wouldn't have been confident enough to mention in front of Sloan cause of embarrassment. It felt better to say it like this, knowing he's listening but not here to respond.
"I love him very much, and I trust him a lot. I know he cares for me so much even though I really don't understand what I did to deserve his love. But, I'm just so grateful to have him, you know?" This time, the wolf nuzzled my throat and I giggled, reaching up to stroke my hand over his head.
