Chapter 17 - The Trial of the Forsaken Trinity (continued)

The sky had turned gold, then orange, then blood-red.

The world seemed to hold its breath as Krisian, Zeref, Sillax, and the full ranks of the Celestial Court stood at the edge of the world — a jagged cliff overlooking a swirling chasm of dark light and ancient power.

The Gate to Seraphon's domain.

Wind howled with a voice that sounded like a thousand screaming souls. The ground beneath them vibrated, reacting to the presence of so much divine blood in one place.

Krisian stood at the front, cloak fluttering violently behind him, golden eyes glowing like twin suns in the stormlight.

"This is it," he said. "No more plans. No more waiting. We go in, we bring them back — or we don't come back at all."

Zeref stepped beside him, tightening his gloves. "Just like old times."

Sillax, calm and calculating, nodded once. "Once we cross, everything will shift. Reality won't work the same way inside his domain. Stick to your link markers, don't lose focus, and follow Krisian's lead."

Krisian raised his arm.

A spiral of golden runes erupted into the air, marking every warrior with a radiant sigil across their chest.

"This is our oath.""We rise together. We fall together. We fight for those who can't."

Behind him, the warriors shouted in unison —"FOR THE COURTS!""FOR OUR FAMILY!"

The sky split open — a divine tear in the air, screaming with pressure and blinding light.

And then—

They leapt in.

Inside Seraphon's Domain: The Womb of Broken Creation

The world twisted instantly.

They landed not on earth, but on an endless spiral of floating stone islands, surrounded by molten rivers of white flame and skies of cracking black glass. Gravity bent sideways. Light pulsed like a heartbeat. Shadows moved even when there were no bodies to cast them.

And in the center of it all — floating like a chained god above a storm of destruction — was Seraphon.

His three wings stretched outward — one feathered and golden, one skeletal and aflame, and the last woven from pure starlight. His eyes burned in different colors — silver, crimson, and divine blue.

And he smiled as they arrived.

"So… you've finally come to claim what's yours," he spoke, his voice echoing across dimensions.

"Then come and take it."

He raised his arm.

And with it — the captured souls of Michael, MG, Zak, Alpha, and Perfani appeared in giant crystal prisons, suspended above the battlefield like offerings to a twisted altar.

Krisian's fist clenched.

"Release them!"

Seraphon laughed. "Earn it."

With a roar, he snapped his fingers.

The battlefield shattered — and suddenly the team was split, tossed onto separate floating islands as demonic and divine guardians emerged from the burning sky — monstrous angels with shattered halos, horned shadows made of screaming light.

The Trial had begun.

Zeref spun midair, unleashing a wave of celestial flame that incinerated a sky-beast with one strike.

Sillax dashed across three crumbling platforms in an instant, her dual daggers singing through enemy shadows.

Krisian summoned his dual-blade form, shadow and light fusing down the length of his arm as he slashed downward — shattering the first wave of abominations in one golden-black explosion.

He leapt, platform to platform, calling out to his scattered court.

"Form squads! Protect the crystals! Don't let them fall!"

Zeref & Sillax combo:Zeref launched fireballs that turned into dragons mid-air while Sillax redirected them with her barrier magic into a perfect pincer strike — blowing a celestial knight apart in a cross-blast.

Celestial Healer Ariel & Knight Rhun:Rhun protected the link marker while Ariel summoned wings of healing light, keeping the squad moving forward despite impossible odds.

Krisian activated his "Celestial Vow: Kingbreaker Form" — his body igniting with both demonic sigils and angelic glyphs, creating a massive spectral arm that deflected a blow from Seraphon himself.

From his prison, Michael's eyes flared open — sensing Krisian.

MG gritted his teeth inside his crystal prison, beginning to resist."Come on… Krisian… I'm not done yet."

And then Seraphon's power began to shift.

His body twisted.

He was evolving.

His soul — fractured — had begun to stabilize. He was starting to become what the ancients feared.

The Perfect God-Killer.

Krisian saw it and whispered:

"He's using our presence… to complete his fusion."

"If we don't stop him now—he'll become unstoppable."

And with one last breath, Krisian shouted:

"NOW—BREAK THE CHAINS!"
