Lu Tao stepped forward reluctantly, pulling out two watches. "Here. They're linked to each other and to ours. You can send messages directly or voice notes if you're too lazy to type."
The little guy looked as if someone owed him eight-hundred-thirty thousand dollars with his sullen expression but no one seemed to notice.
Silk grabbed it eagerly, strapping it on immediately. Blaze took the watch more cautiously, inspecting it as if he expected it to explode.
You couldn't blame him for being cautious. With every type of network and satellite having collapsed, it was surprising that someone could develop something that could still communicate.
"Does it work without power?" Blaze couldn't help asking as he strapped his own watch as well.
It fit his wrist and looked as if it was custom-made for him.
"Does it work without power?" Blaze asked while examining the watch more closely.
