Chapter 150 - Chapter 150: Are You Afraid of Kotoamatsukami Forcing Updates on You?

šŸ¤— Please if you find any incorrect names let me know in comments so I can fix themĀ

Naruto had always wanted to draw manga, a long-form one about Chinese history. The title wouldn't be that, of course, it would be changed, and the dialogue would be in English.

He deeply missed his previous life, which was evident in his collection of action figures, the names of some of his skills, the songs he played, and how he learned combat styles from other characters in movies and TV shows.

Naruto didn't know if he could ever go back and experience those things again, but even if he couldn't, he could slowly bring out everything he knew. Manga was one of those things. Chinese history was too long for him to remember all of it, but knowing the main events was enough; the rest he could fill in with imagination.

In his previous world, they watched their world in manga. Now, it was their turn to watch his world in manga. And, he could tell this world that even without ninjas, war was inevitable. Peace? Non-existent.

Peace could only exist in fantasy. Finding a way to truly achieve world peace was incredibly difficult, at least Naruto didn't know one. Even Kishimoto, through 720 episodes of Naruto, expressed his views on peace – want peace? Go dream about it! You can have anything in your dreams.

Naruto had originally thought it all through, even imagining Orochimaru's reaction when the manga reached the atomic bomb explosion. Uncle Snake would pick up the manga, read it, and think, "Atoms have this power? This isn't ninjutsu." Then one day, after a "boom," the reincarnated Uncle Snake would nod and smile, "But it's scientific."

As for whether Orochimaru would, due to lack of research funds, bomb the Land of Fire once, then sell it to the Land of Wind, then bomb the Land of Wind once, then sell it to the Land of Fire, then bomb the Land of Earth once, then sell it to the Land of Lightning, then bomb the Land of Lightning once, then sell it to the Land of Earth, Naruto no longer cared. By the time it got to that point, he'd be close to death anyway, what was there to fear?

But then Kurama's single sentence made him remember that in the ninja world, there was such a thing as "Impure World Reincarnation to force updates."

Was that something a human could even come up with?!

So, should I even draw this manga...

Tomihiro Bokken saw Naruto lost in thought and called out, "Little Ichigo..."

"Little Ichi..."

"Hmm?" Naruto looked up, confused. He almost forgot the name he had casually given himself.

"What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing, I have business, I'm leaving." Seeing Jiraiya finish talking with the shop owner and wave him over, Naruto shoved the novel he was holding back onto the shelf, picked up theĀ Ninja World Legends Collection, stood up, and followed him, paying for it at the counter on the way out.

"Hey..." Tomihiro Bokken stood there, stunned. This person...

"Kid, why didn't you kill him?" Kurama asked. In his opinion, it would be a piece of cake for Naruto to kill a normal person.

"He just put his series on hiatus, it's not enough reason to kill him," Naruto said, gently stroking the fox spirit's belly. The fox spirit was a bit fat, but its fur still felt the same as before, not changed at all.

Having been together for so many years, Kurama could probably guess what Naruto was thinking: "If you don't want to kill him, then bring that Uchiha brat over and hypnotize him into updating."

Naruto suddenly realized. So, there was such a way to force updates in the ninja world! It seemed he couldn't draw this manga after all. What if readers showed up at his door and used Kotoamatsukami to force updates? Wouldn't that make dying difficult?

Not long after Naruto left, Tomihiro Bokken took out a communication device and said, "Approach failed."

Three seconds later, the communicator returned a voice, "Understood."

Tomihiro Bokken was an outer member of the organization that had accepted the mission to snatch Naruto from Jiraiya's side. His purpose was to approach Naruto and befriend him. However, Naruto ignored him, and his mission failed.

The organization that accepted the mission was originally unsure of the duo's route, but when Jiraiya took Naruto to the town, they found an opportune moment. Then, they seized the chance to initiate their plan.

Naruto wanted to find special snacks, so he wandered around the town for a while longer. Jiraiya was in a great mood after submitting his manuscript and strolled along with him.

Looking at Jiraiya, who was beaming with a rosy face, Naruto suddenly remembered something. In the original story...Ā Make-Out ParadiseĀ seemed to have gone on hiatus...

"Why aren't you walking?" Jiraiya asked when Naruto stopped.

"Nothing, just thinking about those ninja world legends," Naruto casually made up an excuse.

"Legends are just for laughs, you shouldn't take them seriously," Jiraiya said with a smile. He didn't want Naruto to think too deeply about them. He had read that book too, but in his opinion, most of it was fabricated nonsense, like the legend that the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki liked to wear underwear with cute animal patterns. Was that even possible? Jiraiya knew what the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki looked like; that muscular brute would wear something like that? He'd be laughed out of his mind.

The two didn't prepare to return to the forest to retrieve the Moye Sacred Brick until dusk. During this time, Naruto also sent another box of snacks and treats to the Hyuga household. They didn't stay overnight in the town; with Naruto, the infrastructure fanatic, it was all the same no matter where they stayed.

Just after picking up Shunfeng, they saw Jiraiya standing in a tree, observing.

"What's wrong?" Naruto asked quietly. Jiraiya's voice was equally low. "There's a fight ahead."

Naruto was the first to disbelieve him. He had his "Entrance Blade" on him; if there was a fight ahead, would he still be lingering here? He would have been forced to enter already. After jumping into the tree, he looked in the direction Jiraiya was gazing.

Indeed, two ninjas were fighting. Due to the light and distance, he could only see two figures constantly clashing in the dense forest, occasionally sparks flying from clashing ninja tools, one person being kicked to the ground. Both sides were wearing stealth suits, so he couldn't tell which village they were from.

Naruto was utterly confused. There was a fight nearby, but his Entrance Blade hadn't triggered him into the battle. This wasn't like a ninja at all. Were they just awkwardly dancing?

"Want to go take a look?" Naruto asked.

Jiraiya waved his hand. "No need, they're retreating."

Naruto hadn't experienced normal ninja combat, but Jiraiya had. He had even participated in wars and was experienced. From the movements of both sides, he could tell that both were looking for an opportunity to retreat.

Sure enough, less than ten seconds after Jiraiya spoke, after a few more exchanges, both sides, eyes fixed on each other, slowly retreated. They each threw a flash bomb into the sky, then turned and ran.

The flash bombs exploded in the sky, one white and one red. The light was very bright, even a bit dazzling from Naruto's position, as if designed specifically to blind opponents at night. When the opponents released the flash bombs, the master and disciple on this side had already closed their eyes, so they weren't affected much.

[Does the Entrance Blade not trigger if the battle is almost over?]

"Woof... woof... bark..." A puppy's yelp interrupted Naruto's thoughts. The other three pets were sleeping soundly, but Shunfeng was in trouble. At this moment, Shunfeng was rolling on the ground, his paws waving in front of his eyes. Those two flash bombs were a bit too bright for him; he felt like his dog eyes were blind.

Naruto quickly jumped down from the tree and comforted Shunfeng with meat. Jiraiya followed, jumping down. "Let's go. I don't know if they'll come back. Let's leave first." He wasn't scared; he just didn't want to get involved.

After checking and finding that the dog's eyes weren't blind, Naruto put on his harness, dragged the brick, and followed Jiraiya.

Soon after, in a small, temporary outpost far from the battle site, the two who had just fought were taking off their stealth suits and talking to several people. The person sitting at a table, looking like a leader, asked, "How was it? Did they get hit?"

"Calculated the distance well, they definitely got hit."
