As Saiguu stepped out of the Uzumaki Land, she paused and turned, casting one last look at the house behind her. A flicker of emotion crossed her face before she walked away, heading back toward the Hyuga Compound.
Watching her retreating figure, Kadoya turned in the opposite direction without a word, heading back toward the Uchiha Compound, his pace unhurried but resolute.
The incident with Saiguu being "caged" had caught him off guard. Despite being a member of the Main Branch, the Hyuga elders had still placed the Caged Bird Seal on her, an act of control, of domination. They wanted to break her spirit, bend her to their will.
Just like how the Uchiha Hawk Faction had tried to break him the night before.
Now, the two of them had found common ground: vengeance. A shared desire to dismantle their clans from the inside out and rebuild them by force, not tradition.
But if they were going to burn the Hyuga system to ash, they'd need more than anger, they needed knowledge.
Specifically, the Caged Bird Cursed Seal Jutsu.
Without understanding the seal's mechanics, its function, its failsafes, its roots in Fūinjutsu, Kadoya couldn't risk tampering with it. Even with his system and its "cheats," he wasn't some omniscient god who could unravel a complex sealing technique with a single glance.
No. They needed the original jutsu first.
Only then could the real work begin.
...
Entering the Naka Shrine, Kadoya noticed the elders and the old Clan Head had already seated, the moment he appeared, their previous chatter stopped, and all eyes turned to him.
"Hm, to think you actually came." Kadoya said calmly before walking toward the head of the room where the old Clan Head once sat.
Sitting down, Kadoya's calm gaze quickly scanned the room, before his eyes flashed crimson, turning into his three-tomoe Sharingan. "Let's begin the meeting, shall we?"
The present elders and high-ranking members of the Clan were taken aback seeing Kadoya's red three-tomoe Sharingan. By now, they are already well aware of Kadoya's strength, a genius of the clan with the strength that far surpassed many shinobi of the Clan.
The Uchiha's dōjutsu, the Sharingan is one of the most powerful dōjutsu in the ninja world. But not all Uchiha could awaken the Sharingan, even unlocking the three-tomoe is something that many Uchiha couldn't achieve in a lifetime due to the high restrictions of an extreme emotion needed.
This isn't the Warring States Period, where children from ages 4-6 are already thrust into the battlefield. The current Uchiha are being restricted from entering the war by Konoha's higher-ups, fearing that by doing so, their power would get stronger.
That's why even with the war at full swing, the Uchiha could still have so many shinobi present for Kadoya to dance with.
He has helped his older sister, Natsumi, unlock her three-tomoe Sharingan by showing that the young, innocent brother she knew and loved is no more. This has increased her strength to Jonin-level, but it also harms their relationship, causing the siblings, once close, to become distant.
"Clan Head Kadoya." The third elder, Makoto Uchiha, began.
"Currently, Konoha has entered a war with Amegakure, our Uchiha Clan has submitted a request to send our Uchiha Shinobi to aid in the war, but our request has been rejected by the Hokage's assistant."
"I wanted to ask, what's your thought on this matter?" Makoto said.
The Uchiha is a Warrior Clan, since the time of the Second Hokage, the Uchiha have been pushed into the Konoha Police Force, giving them a form of power in the village, while also stunting their growth and creating an invisible barrier between the Uchiha and the village, by forcing the Uchiha to spend their time dealing with small matter in the village instead of participating in high-risk missions.
By the time the Third Hokage took office, he had only reinforced this method even further, pushing the Uchiha to the point that they didn't even have a say in the high-ranking decision-making in the village.
"The Hokage's assistant rejected our aid?" Kadoya murmurs before letting out a chuckle.
As expected of Danzo, even in war, he still targeted the Uchiha.
"Since we already offer our support for the war and it got rejected, then we'll ignore the war altogether."
"Clan Head, Konoha is currently at war, the Uchiha must show their support to avoid the risk of being isolated from the village." The fifth elder said.
"Isolate?" Kadoya scoffed and said coldly. "With the Uchiha's hard-to-approach personality, besides me, do any other Uchiha in the Clan have a good relationship with the other Clans or civilians?"
Everyone: "..."
Their face darkened, wanting to refuse him, but doing so would only prove his point, but when refused, they couldn't even think of an Uchiha who has a good relationship with other Clans or civilians.
"See, what's the point of worrying about being isolated when you've already isolated yourself?"
"But Clan Head, the Uchiha need to integrate with the village. We can't let the Uchiha fall out of the village." Another elder spoke, and Kadoya didn't even bother to look at him.
"Integrate? Did you forget that Konoha was founded by the Senju and the Uchiha? The Uchiha have always been a part of Konoha, the current situation was all because of the Uchiha and the village's higher-ups. You all let them play you for years, and only when visible cracks showed did you begin to worry about it?"
"Like you said, Konoha was founded by the Senju and the Uchiha. Shouldn't we get an Uchiha Hokage, after two Senju Hokages?"
"What's so special about being Hokage? Nothing but an endless mountain of paperwork, pretending to smile and give a shit about those political matters. Do you think we Uchiha, a Warrior Clan, could sit all day in an office, sometimes wander around the village with a bright smile, talk nonsense about the will of fire to children, and visit the widow of ninjas who died in war?"
Everyone: "..."
"That's what I thought." Kadoya said coldly, although the Uchiha always dream of the Hokage seat, to actually be able to sit on that seat and actually run the village was another thing.
"Still, if you're all so desperate for a Uchiha Hokage, then wait for the Fourth Hokage."
This immediately gets all of their attention, with someone like Kadoya Uchiha now in power, the chance for an Uchiha Hokage has actually opened up for them.
"Minato won't inherit the Second Hokage's teaching like the Third. He will treat the Uchiha fairly." Kadoya simply said, causing the expression of everyone to darken again.
Minato? Kadoya Senju, are you referring to your best friend, Minato Uchiha!?
Right now, many of the clanmen have to push down the udge to pull out a kunai and stab him right here and then.
"Clan Head Kadoya, what makes you so sure that he could become the Fourth Hokage?" Setsuna asks respectfully, still a bit numbed by the genjutsu he suffered not long ago.
The current Minato is only just an academy student, not the Yellow Flash feared across the shinobi world yet. So, of course, the Uchiha wasn't too confident in Minato's potential like Kadoya.
"You want to know why I support him?" Kadoya began, his reserve unwavering.
Of course, he knew about Minato's future of becoming the Fourth Hokage, but he couldn't say that he knew about the future. So he gave them a more meaningful reason.
"Because... he inherited the vision Konoha's founders had when forming the village."
His words caused the entire room to fall into silence at the mention of Konoha's founders, the vision of Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha appeared in the elder's mind.
Seeing that all eyes are on him, he continues. "Konoha was created by Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, all because of a shared vision between them. To create a world of peace. A world where children don't have to go to war, where the strong protect the weak, a world where people don't have to live in fear."
His voice grew louder as he went on, becoming magnetic, drawing their full attention toward him. Seeing that the Uchiha Clanmen were silenced by his words, Kadoya decided to press further.
"Still thinking I'm speaking nonsense? Think about it! Why suddenly did the Senju and Uchiha, two clans which was always at odds with each other, suddenly cease fighting, come together, and shake hands, forming the first Ninja Village?"
Hearing this, the elders who lived during the time of Hashirama and Madara began to recall that what Kadoya said was indeed correct. Back in the Warring States Period, the Senju and Uchiha were always at odds with one another.
Continually fighting and competing with each other for mission to support their clan, back then both the Senju and Uchiha were known to be the two of the most powerful clans.
Yet unexpectedly, Hashirama and Madara at that time suddenly decide to come together, shake hands, and create the first ninja village. Soon after, other clans began joining the village.
They originally thought the two clan heads were just tired of fighting, so they decided to create Konoha to stop the endless fight between the two clans.
Now, with Kadoya's insight, they began to suspect there might be more to this story than what they had originally believed.
"Upon Konoha's creation, the two followed exactly how they planned it. A safe place for children to grow without the pressure of being killed on the battlefield. Even when the Second Hokage came to power, he still followed the rule of not letting children enter the battlefield."
Kadoya wanted to add the Third Hokage into this to mock him for sending children into war, but the current Third Hokage isn't the weak-willed old man in the original story, yet.
So, suddenly mocking him for something he hadn't done would only sound hypocritical on his end.
"Then, if Konoha was Lord Madara's vision of peace, why did he leave?" Setsuna, one of Madara's old followers, suddenly asks.
Although Madara has left the clan for some time already, there are still some in the Uchiha Clan who admire Madara for his strength.
"Simple, because Madara sees the fault in Konoha. Konohagakure was named by Madara and co-founded by him, yet the villagers deny him the status of Hokage, ultimately pushing the position to that idiot Hashirama, who gave the other villages the Tailed-Beasts and begged them not to start a war."
"Then once he died, they started a war."
Although the First Hokage was known and respected by many in the village, even by the Uchiha themselves. Kadoya still decided to mock the First Hokage while at the same time use one of the most basic example of his stupidity to prove his point.
Hashirama Senju, the man with enough power to put an end to the Warring States Period, created the first ninja village and is strong enough to crush anyone standing in his way. He could have easily joined hands with Madara, uniting the entire shinobi world under one banner, to achieve the closest thing you can get to eternal peace.
But no, instead he seeks peace by showing gratitude, hoping the other villages won't use the Tailed-Beasts he gave them to start war. That idiot probably didn't know that the only reason the other village didn't decide to go to war was because he could easily crush any of them with a simple clap of his palms.
"It was because of this fault that Madara has asked the Uchiha to leave Konoha to create a different village, but since you're all too simple-minded to know his true intention, and his pride was too much for him to try and convince you. He left the clan."
The elders in the room all lowered their heads, falling into deep thought upon hearing what Kadoya said. What he said was brutal and to the point, although they don't know how he could talk about all of this like he was present during it all.
Thinking back to how he could analyze the true intention of Konoha's founders, they just chalk it up to him, finding the archive hidden in the Clan or village library and discovering this information.
Although they couldn't confirm whether this is real or if it's just him spouting nonsense. The thought of their previous Clan Head, Madara Uchiha, the strongest Uchiha in the history of the Clan, actually cared for them and wanted to help them, but they're too stupid to notice, is a better truth to accept than saying he betrayed the Clan and the Village.
"Now, the Uchiha will no longer have any factions. Just one, single, united Uchiha Clan! Anyone who disagrees and threatens the Clan's unity, I will personally expel them from the Clan!"
Kadoya declares, and no one dares to say anything against this order.
Now, not just the elders but also the presence Jonin of the Clan looks at Kadoya in a new light, their gaze, once fear and skepticism, now replaced with respect.
Speaking truthfully, no one in the Uchiha clan can think like Kadoya.
They only know how to frown, raise their nose, and talk about the pride and glory of the Uchiha Clan, while looking down on outsiders. They don't understand the human heart, nor how to manipulate other emotions like him.
So letting them enter politics just means they won't know what to do, and will easily get manipulated by others.
Look at Fugaku in the future, once he took over the position of Clan Head, he turned the pride of the Uchiha into a joke, always bowing his head to the Hokage, compromising and giving in without taking anything in return.
To put it short, he let them sit on his head, mocked his family, and he could still smile and thank them for it.
Even his son, Sasuke Uchiha, makes the Uchiha look more of a joke than anything. The boy showed his one-tomoe Sharingan, bragging about the pride of the Uchiha, only to get beaten up. Then his Sharingan evolved, he bragged again then he got beaten up again.
His entire thing is talking smack, then getting clapped.
Huh... The Father makes the Clan a joke, and the Son becomes the joke... As expected of Fugaku's family! Like father, like son.
"The meeting ends here. Once more news arises from the Hokage's side, I'll call the next meeting. For now, continue on as normal." Kadoya said before his body burst into a flock of white doves flying out from the Naka Shrine.
