"Get Caught by Something Unexpected"
Staying in the trenches for more than a month was a nightmare for some of the soldiers. Smelling your comrades' rotten bodies being eaten by rats slowly in front of you was not a good thing to see every day, considering that most of them are militia who are were civilians before were enough to break their minds and forced to retreat into safety and field hospital behind the lines. And the GOC doesn't even try to attack after their humiliating defeat in many fronts here. Although they did try to attack with a small number of raider trench, it got caught by either our artillery bombardment at night or got killed by their own soldiers who mistakened them as T.O.P Soldier who tried to infiltrate.
Yeah, the GOC was at their breaking point at some point, every night we always heard a shot from their trenches before they throw, their dead body outside, meh, as long they don't do something unexpected, then why bother to waste our precious bullet ammo.
As the GOC keep bombing our position with an intense bombardment every day, some soldier gets killed by the shrapnel or get caught on the blast, some unlucky souls, but its reality here, you only have 2 option which, not good options. One, you can return safely with injured or broken arm or worse is a trauma that can never get erased from their mind and memory, or second option is to die here, get caught by the explosion blast, then you will leave this place, like the famous quote "only the dead have seen the end of the war".
A few veteran divisions from Sector Atharva has arrived, a few hours ago in the HQ along with some veteran NCO and millions of equipment and labor has improved production of some of our battle rifles. Our position here is to establish some secured position. Half of the veteran NCO, commander and soldier arrived avoiding capture from the GOC MP. The other half? Exterminated by the GOC coastal ship that just patrols to catch the convoy ships that want to arrive at Sector Bacardi, killing sailors and soldiers and sunk some important things that surely help our war effort here.
And the south front has struggled to defense against the GOC attack that start to use self-destruction drone and rush with Light tank, along with some infantry as the south front, the forest nothing but ashes, because of the massive bombardment by the GOC allowed them to attack and deployed with light tank as infantry support as their Tank division was used by the GOC 4th commands on various place to help other unit, considering that if they don't end it quickly, their supporters and investors will abstain or take their support out of the GOC, that the GOC commands don't want.
The economies the GOC control was slowly tearing apart as they have to split their money to war, away from research and welfare. Wait welfare? Since when the GOC care their people in their colonies, step aside but considering that some GOC general or head of government that try enact some rules for welfare for some of their puppet states but not always work because the intervention by the military council that prevent something like this because they want to justify war to those who don't agree their rules and they promised after the war was over then they will spend all of it to welfare again. I always heard these things when politicians campaign their political ideas only to never enact it but make it worse and never do what they promised to their people.
A few days later, the south defense has been penetrated by the GOC light tank division along with their jungle infantry and immediately redirected some divisions to the south to counter the attack but leaving other front vulnerable and, we were right. After the north troops redirected to south to help the south troops, immediately GOC attack in the north with their marine commando unit, as the front falls quickly all troops immediately called into previous defense in a hurry before the enemy managed to take it, because with that the HQ was only several kilometers away and opens an opportunity for the GOC to launch full scale attack. With over millions of soldiers, the GOC in confidence attacks in a full scale attack and after fighting several waves and attempting to take over the defense, the GOC commands here immediately got taken over by the GOC General Hans Peter Kissinger and their NCO. But luck is still at our side with the arrival of the PMC Kiriyama called a few weeks ago has just arrived with a submarines carrying thousand of instructor and fresh mercenary from east Asia, avoiding the GOC patrol fleet but they cannot send a big army to avoid suspicious by the GOC watch and patrol, so they have to send their mercenary phase by phase slowly. Back to the defense lines that have been broken by the GOC, all soldiers of TOP and us have relocated back to where we start before, but our situation just got worse as we get pinned down by the GOC airstrikes every single day and with the GOC rushing here, it's more likely that they will eventually break our lines of defense against and capture us.
As time gets more critical, more and more pressure have made some of our militia and soldier commit suicide every day to avoid getting capture because they're very scared that they get capture and tortured like how they treated the surrender GOC soldier, beaten, they're eyes get pulled out forcefully and every single bones is broken one by one, hell the GOC take this as their every day meal and ignore the Red Cross rules international war.
Bodies hanging on the tree was donned by GOC to show fear to the militia which affects some of our militia who immediately retreat and run away to somewhere else only to meet their same fate hanged down by the GOC on the tree with half of their bones cracks, their eyes were forced fully taken out and their condition was not in the slightest good condition.
A table was smash hard, creating a crack on the table as the TOP leaders and some of our officers are frustrated how to counter this, some argue only make their situations more intense and doesn't solve the problem Kiriyama look at me while she heat her tea.
"So? how you going to solve this Han Min? you must act quickly before we got ourselves in the next turn ended up hanging like our soldiers in the field."
"I know, we don't have any chance if we just defend nornally, but the north front still doesn't have any presence from GOC unit that coming from that, should we take a massive gamble by attacking them from behind?"
"I like your thinking, but can you guarantee that we can successfully do it?"
"I promise I will."
