With you is Nadia Shamak from Paris News Channel. We are now watching the city being destroyed, seemingly by a huge rock monster that appeared out of nowhere. The authorities are trying to contain the situation as much as possible, but to no avail.
Reporter Nadia Shamak appears on TV, giving people the latest developments. A video clip is shown of the monster destroying police cars.
The monster is exposed to a hail of gunfire, but instead of being harmed by the weapons, it glows green and grows in size.
The mayor of Paris appears on TV and says, "I ask all residents to stay in their homes until we deal with the situation. I assure you, as the mayor of Paris, I will ensure that the monster is destroyed and that order is restored to Paris."
The mayor finished speaking and reporters were frantically taking pictures.
At the Parker apartment, Peter stormed in. "May!! May!!!" Peter called his aunt loudly and very worried. "I'm here Peter!!" May screamed from the living room.
Peter entered the room and saw his aunt sitting on a couch looking at the TV with a scared and nervous expression as she knew how this news would affect Peter.
May turned off the TV and turned to Peter. "Peter, are you okay? I heard that monster appeared at your school for the first time."
Peter sighed in relief when he saw his aunt safe and sound. "Yes, I'm fine, May. Nothing happened to me."
May walked over and grabbed Peter's hand. "You don't have to do anything, Peter. Let the others handle it."
Peter pulled his hand away from her. "How? How are they going to handle such a monster?, things were different in New York, where there were other heroes besides me. But here? In Paris? There aren't any heroes at all, and it's clear that the French police or army won't be able to handle it."
Peter said frustratedly as he went to his room. May followed him with a worried expression. Peter opened a drawer and took out a mask from his costume. Peter sat on his bed and held the mask tightly.
"Gwen, No!!"
"Peter!!!".
"Boom!!!".
"Ahahahaha!!! this for my father Peter and guess what??!! You aunt is Next!!!!".
Peter closed his eyes as he remembered the painful memory of Gwen's death and Harry turning into a Hobgoblin.
Peter felt a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay, Peter. Leave it to someone else." May said to Peter in a reassuring tone.
Peter opened his eyes and looked at his mask, then put it back in the drawer.
Peter sighed and looked at May. "I don't know what to do, Auntie. Every time I see my mask, I remember what happened to Gwen. I remember what happened with Harry and his father. But...".
Peter fell silent, tears filling his eyes. He continued, "People need Spider-Man!!. I can't hide forever!!."
"Hey, Peter, look at me. Look at me!!." May grabbed Peter's face and said with a serious expression, "You're not just Spider-Man. You're Peter Parker too. If you don't feel ready, if you don't feel like you can put on your costume and swing between buildings again, that's okay!! Just once, Peter. Don't think about anyone else. For once in your life, when the call comes, don't go!!".
Peter looked at his aunt with tearful eyes then hugged her tightly. May hugged Peter and patted his head gently.
Peter got up after two minutes and wiped his tears from his eyes. May got up and hugged Peter and said to him in a calm voice, "It's okay now, my little boy. I'm sure someone will show up and kick that monster's ass."
Peter nodded silently and walked away from his aunt. "Now let's go watch TV. Maybe the problem is solved already."
May said optimistically and left Peter and went to the living room.
"Remember, Peter, with great power comes great responsibility."
Peter stood in his room trembling and clenching his fists tightly when he remembered his uncle final words.
Then his hands loosened and he thought, "I'm sorry, Uncle Ben. I won't take the responsibility this time."
Peter gathered his strength and left his room.
"Peter, come quickly and look at the news!!" Peter looked at the TV when his aunt shouted at him.
"Wait a minute. Can you at least tell us your name, miss?" .
A familiar voice shouted from the TV. Peter looked over to the TV and found the camera pointed at a girl wearing a red spandex outfit with many black spots, a red mask with black spots as well, and a red yoyo with black spots wrapped around her waist.
The girl was wearing an outfit that strangely resembled a ladybug.
"Ladybug, call me Ladybug,".
The girl who now known as Ladybug said to the camera.
She ran forward and took out her yoyo, threw it at the ceiling of a playground, and swung in the air.
"What??".
Peter was surprised and opened his mouth in surprise. He sat on a couch next to his aunt.
"I can't believe this. This is so cool!! Paris has two awesome new superheroes!!!" Alya said excitedly as she turned the camera to herself.
It turned out that she was the one who was talking to Ladybug a moment ago.
"Thanks to this footage, Paris now has new protectors known as Ladybug and Cat Noir!!".
Nadia Shamak appeared on the TV talking excitedly. Peter was shocked and stared at the TV in disbelief.
"Ladybug and Cat Noir?? What is going on here??, and did that so-called ladybug just copy him by swinging on top of buildings??!!".
"See Peter, I told you someone else would take over!! You don't have to put on your costume and go fight the bad guys now!!! Isn't that awesome!!". May said excitedly as she hugged the shocked Peter.
May looked at Peter in surprise and said "Peter, are you okay??".
Peter got up and shouted loudly "Ladybug stole my trick! I'm the only one who swings between buildings!!!!".
Meanwhile. There was a black butterfly with purple stripes flying slowly over the sky of Paris. The butterfly landed on top of the Eiffel Tower and then fluttered its wings while on top of the tower.
"Soooshhh!!".
Suddenly the butterfly trembled and hundreds of other butterflies of the same shape and color came out from its back.
The butterflies spread everywhere and became like a black vortex over the Eiffel Tower.
At the Parker apartment.
Peter took his phone and started browsing and searching madly for news about Ladybug and Cat Noir.
It turned out that at the time he rushed back from school and then cried in his aunt's arms, there were two heroes fighting Stoneheart hard and they succeeded in defeating him!!.
Alya filmed the entire fight. In reality, Alya contributed greatly to defeating the villain and it turned out that Stoneheart was Even!!.
Peter's angry classmate!! Peter wondered how Even turned into a huge stone monster like the Hulk and was confused about how he returned to his normal state, but he did not understand anything.
As he saw Ladybug break a small stone that came out of Stoneheart's grip and a strange black butterfly came out of the stone, that's all.
Peter watched the fight more than once but he didn't understand how or why Ivan turned into Stoneheart or how he returned to normal again.
But he noticed that the two new heroes had strange superpowers.
As Cat Noir was able to destroy a goal net with one touch of his palm and Ladybug was able to create a strange costume out of nothing.
But he also noticed that they fight very well beside they were new in this superheroes thing.
Peter hung up the phone and sighed and said "that's all there is to living a normal life in Paris".
Peter went to the kitchen and ate again as he needed a lot of energy due to his fast metabolism.
"Peter, I will go out and buy some groceries, okay??" Peter got up and said "I will go with you".
May was surprised and said "I will be fine Peter, don't worry".
"No, May, there are people who turn into stone monsters now, no discussion, I will go".
Peter put on his shoes and left the apartment. May sighed then followed him.
Then they went to the market together but they stopped when they saw something that made they blood run cold.
They saw a multi strange purple butterfly turning the people on the street into Stonehearts!!!.
Peter turned to his aunt and said "May, we have to go to a safe place!!".
Peter grabbed his aunt's hand and was running while dragging her but he heard a strange sound and then he felt that he was pulling several tons of weight instead of his aunt.
Peter stopped and turned to see his aunt turned into a rock monster that looked like Stoneheart too and stood frozen in place.
"May?? May??!!
"No, no, no, no, no, stay with me May!!!"
"Don't leave me too!!"
May Peter hit May's rocky body and cried and knelt on the ground in front of her.
"May, please don't leave me".
Peter cried a lot then shouted in the air.
"No!!!!!".
The police quickly arrived and surrounded the place and pulled the collapsed Peter away from his mutant aunt and tried to calm him down but Peter did not listen and quickly ran home.
Peter entered the apartment violently and turned on the TV.
"With you Nadia Schmack is appearing as it seems that hundreds of Parisians have turned into huge rock monsters. The reason is still unknown and the authorities are trying to contain the situation as much as possible and return the residents to their normal lives".
The screen flipped when the reporter finished speaking and Mayor Bourjois appeared on the screen and said, "I assure you, my dear citizens, the authorities will not rest until we return the innocent civilians to their normal form as soon as possible and return them to their homes and families safely!!".
When the mayor finished speaking, several cameras took pictures and reporters flocked to ask questions.
Then Nadia Schmack appeared on TV again and said, "This is all the latest developments at the moment and the authorities insist on staying indoors and not leaving until the situation is contained. However, the city is waiting for its new guardian angels to save the day: Ladybug and Cat Noir."
Peter turned off the tv when Nadia finished speaking.
Peter stood up silently and trembled with rage.
"AAAAAAAHHH!!!!".
Peter screamed angrily and started destroying the whole apartment.
At Marinette's house and Agreste mansion.
Marinette and Adrien looked at the news worriedly and asked their kwami what happened since they defeated Stoneheart.
Plagg/Tikki: Has the akuma been caught??.
"What does catching the akuma have to do with all these stone monsters??" Marinette said in a confused voice.
"The Akuma can Multiple!! and infect other people so it must be caught and purified!!". Tikki answered Marinette patiently.
"But how do you catch an akuma??" Marinette asked worriedly.
"The only person who can catch an akuma and purify it. is the holder of the Miraculous Ladybug and only Ladybug's power can purify the evil from the akuma" Tikki said while flying around the room.
"Oh no that means I've failed does it?? This happened because of me!! I knew it. I'm not worthy of being a hero Tikki" Marinette said in a low, guilty voice.
"It's okay, Marinette. It was only your first time. Next time, you'll go in there and catch the akuma, and you'll bring everyone back." Tikki floated in front of Marinette's face and said with an optimistic expression.
Marinette stepped back and said, "No, no, you don't understand, Tikki. I can't. I'm a clumsy girl who only does super destruction. I'm not a superhero." Marinette said weakly and reached for her earrings. "I'm sorry, Tikki you have to find another ladybug."
"No, Marinette, wait..." Tikki said quickly but disappeared as Marinette took the earrings out of her ears.
"Tikki?" Marinette looked around in surprise when she didn't find Tikki anywhere. She shook her head and put the earrings in the box she found them in, closed it and sat on the floor tiredly.
"Are you telling me that the Ladybug is the only one who can save the day now?" Adrien asked his kwami with a surprised expression.
"Yes, since only Ladybug's power can catch the akuma. Without it, we can't do anything." Plagg answered Adrien while eating cheese.
The akuma flew to Hawkmoth's lair after completing its mission. Hawkmoth stood with an evil smile and extended his staff towards the akuma.
The akuma entered the purple dome at the beginning of the staff and settled there.
Hawkmoth raised his staff and tapped his finger on its dome and said in a low voice, "Good work, My little Akuma."
Then he lowered his staff and looked at the sky of Paris and felt hundreds of Parisians turning into stone monsters and were just waiting for Ivain's transformation.
Then said "Ivain has a sensitive heart and very soon he will be overwhelmed with negative feelings again, and then he will have an army of stone monsters under my command, Ladybug and Cat Noir". Show up and try to stop me. If you can, I will crush you and take your Miraculouses!! and then I will obtain the absolute power!!!"
Meanwhile in the New SHIELD headquarters.
In Nick Fury's office Nick Fury was sitting on a chair in his office looking at the screen that was showing the latest news from Paris.
Fury sighed tiredly and called his personal assistant Maria Hill.
Maria entered the office with a serious expression and said, "What's up, Fury?".
"Look at these news." Fury said indifferently and pushed the laptop screen towards her.
Maria read the news and looked at the video clips and raised her eyebrows and said, "This is new".
"Yes, the residents turned into huge rock monsters and the appearance of superheroes with strange and unknown powers. It's just a normal day for me." Fury said lightly.
Maria looked at Fury and said, "What are you going to do about this?".
"Nothing", Fury replied as he stood and looked out the window.
"Nothing?".
"Yes, nothing. Let's see how the situation develops and see what these so-called heroes will do. If they succeed, then that's good and we'll keep an eye on them, but if they fail". Fury paused and looked at the old Avengers Tower and said, "We'll deal with it."
At The Parker apartment.
When Peter finished destroying all the furniture, Peter sat in the middle of the apartment crying hard.
He went and held a family photo. The photo was of his uncle Ben and his aunt May when he was eight years old.
Peter held the photo tightly and thought, "This is all my fault. If only I had stopped, drowned in my sadness and been strong enough, none of this would have happened!!"
Peter thought angrily while tears were falling from his eyes. "First Uncle Ben, then Captain Stacy, Then Gwen, and now Aunt May."
"No, No more. Not anymore. I've suffered enough!! I will never allow any of my loved ones to be hurt again!!".
Peter got up and wiped his tears angrily then went to his room and opened his drawer and took out his mask then went to his closet and pulled a thread from inside the closet.
A secret room inside the closet suddenly opened with a creaking sound.
The room contained a Spider-Man costume with several web-slingers. Peter looked at the family picture that was still in his hand and specifically at the picture of his uncle and thought.
"I couldn't save you Uncle Ben, and you died because of me and As long i am alive this will remain the biggest regret of my life".
"But I promise you that wherever you are now, your wife will be safe as long as I breathe".
"I will find whoever did this to her and kick his ass hard and bring her back to normal."
"That's my promise!!."
