"Lin Junyang," Xiao Xiao called out to him, beckoning with her finger.
Lin Junyang stood up, walked a couple of steps into the room, and Xiao Xiao immediately pounced on him, wrapping her arms around his neck.
Lin Junyang didn't expect Xiao Xiao to be so bold, yet he easily caught her, looking at the little woman close at hand, his heart leapt with joy at her slightly curved lips.
How long had it been since he felt this way?
"Smooch," Xiao Xiao kissed Lin Junyang's handsome face directly, "Lin Junyang, you're so great."
"Tsk, no sincerity," Lin Junyang dismissed with a snort.
Xiao Xiao laughed even more joyfully, her eyes curved into little crescent moons.
Feeling a bit impatient, Lin Junyang pursed his lips.
...
"Young Master, Miss Xie is here."
Uncle Chen's voice came in from downstairs.
Only then did Xiao Xiao realize their positions; the door was ajar, and Lin Junyang was hugging her against it, at an angle where the entrance was clearly visible.
