When Mu Xingfeng came out of the bathroom, An Ran had just finished cooking noodles and came out of the kitchen carrying the hot pot.
Noticing a refreshed Mu Xingfeng, she naturally said, "Go get two bowls. I didn't think you'd come back tonight, so I didn't buy any groceries. Let's just make do with this today."
Mu Xingfeng walked straight over, glanced at the steaming beef noodles in the pot, and after the little woman set the pot down on the table, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her gently.
Nothing was more comforting than having her at home. Love fills one's belly, and even if he were to go hungry now, he would welcome it with pleasure.
When he entered, he was preoccupied with his dirty clothes and the smell of sweat, and didn't take in the surroundings properly.
An Ran pushed against the man's chest with both hands and raspily said, "Mu Xingfeng, I'm really hungry."
"I'm really hungry too,"
Mu Xingfeng responded ambiguously.
