[POV - Yuuki Rito] [Yuuki Residence - Morning of Departure]

RUSTLE... RUSTLE...

The sound of people moving around the house filled the morning air. I looked around the room, doing a mental count with more amusement than concern.

— Is everyone ready? — I asked, observing the group that had grown absurdly.

One, two, three... this turned into a school field trip.

I simply found it funny how each day someone else appeared. The most unusual thing after recent events was the appearance of Rias with all her peerage.

Apparently, before the meeting in the Underworld, they ended up staying an entire week. In. My. City.

SIGH.

Not that I had anything against it — after all, Rias was a good friend. But somehow, she along with Lala had self-invited themselves to spend a week here.

It really was something... unique.

The Vali Team had bought a house in the city and was hiding there, keeping a low profile. Ophis had also stayed here with me, spending most of her time eating cookies and existing peacefully.

And Rias's group? They had established themselves in another property. What was interesting was seeing how everyone had settled in. Especially Tosca — Yuuto's childhood friend — who was now Rias's new Bishop.

And was dating Yuuto Kiba.

CRACK.

The sound of grinding teeth came from the corner of the room. I looked to the side. There was Issei, with that face of someone who had just lost the lottery of life.

Poor guy.

The girl he desired — Rias — was clearly interested in other things. And in the house where he was staying, he was sharing space with a couple in love.

Brutal. But also funny in a way I wouldn't admit out loud.

Koneko and Akeno had followed Rias and also came frequently to my house. Officially, Rias would be our guide to the Underworld. But to me it was clear: an attempt at getting closer.

Not that I would stop it anyway.

HUMMM...

With so many people in the house — including Ophis, who had become practically a permanent resident — normally there wouldn't be space. Fortunately, with my power and Lala's help using spatial folding technology to expand the rooms, we transformed our house into something... more.

Much more.

In fact, it was almost the size of a mansion inside. Preparation for when Lala's family arrived.

Thank God they haven't arrived yet.

But being able to see Rias's reaction when she met our maid, Cerys Agares, was priceless.

FLASHBACK - PREVIOUS DAY

CLINK. CLINK.

Cerys had served tea with that natural elegance of hers, all proper in her maid uniform.

Rias had frozen, cup in the air.

— You... you're an Agares — she had said, voice controlled but surprised.

— Yes, Gremory-sama — Cerys had responded with perfect reverence. — I serve Rito-sama now.

The look Rias gave me at that moment was a mixture of curiosity, surprise, and growing respect. As if each piece of the puzzle that was "Yuuki Rito" was finally starting to make sense.

END FLASHBACK

CLAP. CLAP.

— Alright! — Rias clapped her hands, bringing everyone back to the present. — Are we ready?

I looked around the room. My main group: Lala, Mikan, Asia, Haruna, Irina, Xenovia, and Cerys. Ophis sitting in a corner eating cookies as always. Rias's group coming with us: Akeno, Koneko, Issei, Yuuto and Tosca — the last two holding hands, which made Issei look even more miserable. And Gabriel, who had insisted on coming along.

— Ready — I confirmed calmly.

— Great — Rias smiled, that confident smile of hers. — First we'll go to Kuou Academy. From there, we'll take the Dimensional Train straight to the Underworld.

— Dimensional Train? — Lala asked, eyes sparkling. — That sounds fun!

— It's... an experience — Rias responded diplomatically.

— And the Vali Team? — I asked. — They're not coming?

— No — Rias shook her head. — Vali thought it better to keep his distance for now. Especially with Ophis here. Less attention is better.

Made sense. With Khaos Brigade looking for Ophis, the less obvious where she was, the better.

[Kuou Academy - Teleportation Circle]

SHIMMER... SHIMMER... SHIMMER...

Magic circles glowed on the floor, one after another, as Rias teleported us in small groups. Interesting to see demonic magic in action — not as elegant as angelic magic, but efficient.

POP. POP. POP.

We materialized in the occult club room of the academy, one by one.

— This never gets less weird — Mikan murmured, holding her stomach.

— You get used to it — Akeno said with that gentle but slightly sadistic smile of hers.

Ophis appeared last, still chewing a cookie, completely indifferent to the teleportation process.

CREAK.

The door opened, revealing a corridor that definitely shouldn't exist in that part of the building. At the end of it, lights blinked like artificial stars.

— The Dimensional Train — Rias announced, making an elegant gesture. — Our carriage to the Underworld.

CHOO-CHOO!

A whistle echoed, and then I saw it.

It wasn't quite a "train" in the conventional sense. It was more like... a mechanical dragon of black and red metal, with cars that seemed to have been carved from obsidian and ruby. Purple smoke came from the "nostrils," and the eyes glowed with demonic light.

Creative, I thought, appreciating the design.

— Wow — Lala whispered, completely enchanted. — I need to build one of these!

— Please don't — I murmured, but without real concern. Worst case, I'd fix whatever she exploded.

[Inside the Dimensional Train]

WHOOOOSH.

The train departed, tearing through dimensional space with surprising smoothness. Outside the windows, colored nebulae passed at impossible speed.

Inside, the seats were comfortable — soft leather, ample space, even tea service.

SIP.

I took a sip, watching the dimensions pass. Interesting to see how the demons had developed dimensional technology. Not as sophisticated as what I could do, but respectable.

Issei had his nose glued to the window, fascinated but visibly uncomfortable. On the other side of the car, Yuuto and Tosca were talking quietly, clearly in love.

Awkward, I thought, feeling a bit sorry for Issei.

Koneko ate sweets silently. Akeno conversed quietly with Asia. Ophis simply existed, eating cookies without caring about anything.

She has her priorities right.

— How long until we arrive? — I asked Rias, more out of politeness than necessity. I could feel exactly where we were.

— About forty minutes — she responded. — The Underworld is in a parallel dimension. It's not exactly "far," but you need to cross barriers.

— Makes sense.

HUMMM...

The train vibrated slightly, a constant purring that was almost relaxing.

— Rito — Rias turned to me, voice becoming more serious. — When we arrive, we'll first go to the Gremory property. My family will want to meet you formally.

— Expected — I responded calmly.

— You are... — she chose her words carefully — important. Very important. And when someone important visits the Underworld, there are protocols.

I smiled slightly.

— Protocols. I understand.

— Nothing major — Rias continued. — Just some formal greetings. Maybe a small banquet. Introductions with the local nobility.

— And possibly your father wanting to personally evaluate the reincarnated Biblical God — I completed for her, amused.

She blushed slightly.

— You noticed.

— Rias, I'm literally omniscient — I reminded gently. — I know exactly what your father is planning to ask and how he'll try to evaluate me.

THUNK.

It was her turn to hit her head on the window.

— Sometimes I forget — she murmured.

Gabriel, seated elegantly on my other side, laughed softly.

— Everyone forgets, dear. Rito is very good at seeming... normal.

— That's the goal — I agreed. — Being God full-time would be exhausting.

Ophis, on the other side of the car, made a sound that could be interpreted as agreement. Or maybe it was just her chewing a cookie louder.

[Arrival - Gremory Property]

SCREEEECH.

The train stopped with a final whistle. The doors opened, revealing...

Impressive, I admitted mentally.

The Gremory "property" wasn't a property. It was a territory. A massive Gothic castle rose against a perpetually twilight sky — purple and orange mixed in impossible tones. Gardens extended for kilometers, with crystal-clear water fountains and sculptures that actually moved.

— Home sweet home — Rias said casually.

— Beautiful architectural work — I commented, genuinely appreciating. — The dimensional integration with the physical design is elegant.

Rias blinked, clearly not expecting that technical comment.

STEP. STEP. STEP.

We descended from the train, stepping on red carpet that had been extended. Demonic servants made deep bows as we passed.

Ophis walked beside me, indifferent to all the pomp and circumstance, focused only on the cookies that Mikan had packed for her.

And then, the castle doors opened.

CREAK...

A figure emerged. Tall, imposing, with red hair like Rias's but with silver streaks at the temples. Penetrating blue eyes that tried to see through me.

Lord Gremory.

Beside him, a woman of supernatural beauty — wavy brown hair, gentle smile but sharp eyes. Lady Gremory.

And behind them...

SWOOSH.

A young man with red hair and kind eyes. Sirzechs Lucifer. One of the four Satans.

And beside him, his wife — Grayfia Lucifuge, the most powerful maid in the Underworld.

— Welcome — Lord Gremory said, voice deep as distant thunder. — To house Gremory.

His gaze stopped on me, then quickly shifted to Ophis at my side. For a moment, I saw genuine surprise.

Ah, yes. The Infinity Dragon in my entourage. Details.

— Yuuki Rito — Lord Gremory said, recovering his composure. — And... Ophis-sama. What an unexpected honor to receive both of you.

Ophis ignored him, more interested in the cookies.

I maintained the gentle smile.

— Lord Gremory — I responded, making a slight bow. Polite, but not submissive. — The pleasure is mine.

— The pleasure — Lady Gremory intervened, voice like honey, eyes fixed on Ophis with a mixture of fascination and caution — is certainly ours. To receive the Creator and the Infinity Dragon in our home is an honor that few families will have.

I noticed how she naturally included Ophis in the greeting. Intelligent.

Sirzechs stepped forward, extending his hand.

— Rito — he said informally, smiling. — Michael spoke a lot about you. And I see you brought... illustrious company.

I shook his hand. Firm. Respectful between equals.

— Ophis preferred to come along — I explained simply. — She likes the cookies that Mikan makes.

Ophis nodded, confirming the priority.

Sirzechs blinked, clearly not expecting that answer. Then he laughed.

— Well, who am I to judge the preferences of an Infinity Dragon? — he said. — Please, come in. We have much to discuss before the meeting.

[Reception Hall - Family Meeting]

CLINK. CLINK. CLINK.

The sound of cups being placed on saucers filled the elegant reception hall. Unlike the formal great hall, this one was more... welcoming. Still luxurious, but with a personal touch. Family photos on the walls. Fireplace crackling softly. Comfortable sofas instead of intimidating thrones.

Lord and Lady Gremory had insisted on a more intimate reception before the official formalities.

Smart, I thought. Evaluating in a relaxed environment was more effective than formal interrogation.

We were all distributed across the sofas. My group on one side — Lala practically glued to me, Mikan on the other side, Asia, Haruna, Gabriel, Irina and Xenovia forming a protective but polite semicircle. Ophis had found a comfortable corner and continued her eternal mission to consume cookies.

On the other side, Rias's group — Akeno elegant as always, Koneko small but attentive, Yuuto and Tosca sitting together (causing more teeth grinding from Issei), and Issei himself trying not to seem out of place.

And between us, the hosts: Lord and Lady Gremory, Sirzechs and Grayfia.

— So — Lord Gremory began, taking a sip of tea — Yuuki Rito. The young man who brought our Father back.

— Technically — I corrected gently — I was always here. Just... physically absent for a while.

Lady Gremory smiled, eyes shining with sharp intelligence.

— Modesty. How refreshing — she said. — But enough formalities. Tell us about yourself, Rito-san. Not as Creator. But as... you.

Interesting approach.

— Well — I began, relaxing on the sofa — until recently, I was just a normal student in Sainan. I stumbled into embarrassing situations. Tried to go unnoticed. Failed miserably.

GIGGLE.

Lala laughed, snuggling closer.

— You still stumble into embarrassing situations, Rito!

— Thanks for the reminder, Lala — I murmured, but smiling.

— And now — Lord Gremory continued, gaze evaluating but not hostile — you have an alien fiancée, demonic servants, angels living with you, and the Infinity Dragon eating cookies in your living room.

— When you put it that way — I admitted — my life really got out of control.

HAHAHA.

Even Sirzechs laughed at that.

— Out of control is an understatement — he commented. — You've basically become the meeting point of all supernatural factions.

The conversation continued, flowing naturally. Lord Gremory asked subtle questions, evaluating not just my power, but my character. Lady Gremory observed the interactions, noticing every detail.

And then...

NUDGE.

Lady Gremory nudged her husband subtly. So subtle that normal humans wouldn't notice.

But I noticed.

She had noticed. The way Rias blushed when I spoke. How she leaned slightly in my direction. Small signs that a mother always recognizes.

Lord Gremory blinked, then looked between me and Rias. A slow smile formed.

Oh no.

— Rito-san — he said, voice too casual — you and my daughter seem... close.

Here we go.

Rias froze, cup in the air.

— Father...

— It's a simple observation, dear — Lady Gremory intervened, maternal smile but eyes gleaming with amusement. — You two have evident chemistry.

— MOTHER!

COUGH. COUGH.

Issei choked on his tea. Yuuto patted his back politely.

Lord Gremory leaned forward, completely serious now.

— So, Rito-san — he said — are you two planning to get married? Because you certainly already seem like a couple.

SILENCE.

The silence that followed was absolute.

Then—

FWOOSH!

Lala threw herself at me, hugging with explosive enthusiasm.

— RITO'S GETTING MARRIED! — she shouted happily.

And as if that were a signal...

WHOMP. WHOMP. WHOMP.

Rias joined the hug, blushing furiously but not backing down. Haruna, after hesitating for half a second, also came. Asia, always gentle, wrapped her arms timidly. Gabriel laughed and joined elegantly.

And Mikan...

BLUSH.

Mikan, my little sister, was red as a tomato, but slowly, very slowly, also approached and hugged my arm.

CRASH.

The sound of something breaking. I looked to the side.

Issei had dropped his cup. His face was a mask of growing horror.

Poor guy.

I took a deep breath, hugging all of them back.

— At the moment — I said carefully — I'm engaged to Lala. I'm not a person who actively seeks a harem, but... — I paused, choosing my words — I also know that love happens in unexpected ways.

Lala had made it very clear in previous conversations that she didn't mind if I had more wives. In fact, she encouraged it.

'After all, Lala couldn't handle Rito alone' — were her exact words, said with that innocent but meaningful smile.

— I've already had conversations with Lala about marriage — I continued. — And at this moment, I'm starting to go on dates with them.

I returned the hugs of Lala, Rias, Haruna, Gabriel, Asia and...

Mikan.

My little sister, blushing but determined.

SPARK. SPARK. SPARK.

It was as if something had short-circuited in Issei's brain. He looked at Mikan, then at me, then at Mikan again.

The math forming in his head.

Yuuki Rito. Mikan's brother. Potential harem. Mikan among the girls hugging him.

IMPLICATIONS.

— He can't — Issei whispered, voice strangled. — Right?! HE CAN'T!

Issei thought furiously, afraid of the implications.

Lord and Lady Gremory exchanged looks.

Then smiled.

— Well — Lord Gremory said, clearly satisfied — it seems we'll have interesting weddings in the future.

And while everyone laughed (except Issei, who seemed to be having an existential crisis), I realized something.

This was family.

Chaotic, complicated, absurd.

But family.

And honestly?

I wouldn't trade it for anything.
