"How is Su Yan now?"
An'an shook her head. "The doctor said there's another surgery tomorrow, and they can't guarantee if he'll wake up."
Su Nian remained silent for a moment, then pulled An'an out of the ward. Grandma followed them, asking, "An'an, if he never wakes up, are you just going to stay here forever?"
"Grandma, he needs me right now. He has always taken care of me. I can't just abandon him. Besides... I bear some responsibility for his car accident."
Su Nian sighed lightly and asked, "An'an, tell Mom, do you really like Su Yan?"
Before An'an could answer, Grandma immediately voiced her opposition. "He is your uncle! You absolutely cannot be together!"
An'an hung her head in silence, unsure of what she should do, but at least she couldn't abandon him right now.
