There was no sign of Zong Zheng in the living room. Tang Tang felt a flicker of joy; could it be that the man had finally found his conscience and left?
She had just placed the takeout on the table when she heard the sound of footsteps. Turning her head, she saw Zong Zheng with wet hair, wearing a white shirt with unbuttoned buttons, and black pants rolled up at the ankles, exposing his delicate ankles. He was barefoot!
He acted as if he were at his own home!
"I thought you had left."
"Disappointed?" Zong Zheng sat down, his gaze sweeping over the takeaway bags. "Where did you bring this from?"
"Outside! Did you think I brought it from home? Mr. Zong, is your brain really fried?" Tang Tang replied calmly, "I still have to go to work. I'm leaving!"
"Aren't you going to eat? You're already so thin, are you on a diet?" Zong Zheng reached out, blocking her way.
Tang Tang moved sideways without changing her expression, heading straight for the exit.
