"Is it the wind moving, or the banner moving?" This line is from Sheng Tang's world line, specifically from Master Huineng's "Platform Sutra" from the Tang Dynasty.
The original meaning is that in the courtyard of a monastery, there is often wind blowing the banner, leading to endless debate between two monks. Master Huineng comes out to resolve it: "It is neither the wind nor the banner moving, it is the benevolent heart that moves."
This is a very famous Zen saying.
Last night, when Sheng Tang was researching, she happened to think of this line but found it didn't exist in this world.
Many things she knows do not exist in this world. So, perhaps that is her purpose—to bring good things here, to share with the people.
