Qin Miaomiao stared in disbelief as the person appeared before her.
The assistant, in a rush of excitement, couldn't even pull out the phone, but after dialing Mr. Lu's number, Qin Miaomiao suddenly collapsed on the ground right in front of him.
"Miss Qin!"
Lying on the ground, Qin Miaomiao saw the person squatting down and, recognizing the familiar face, feared she was hallucinating. She kept repeating, "Are you Lu Qing's assistant?"
"Miss Qin, yes, I am. Please don't speak, Mr. Lu will be here soon."
Qin Miaomiao felt all her strength had drained away, her eyes lost focus, and she had no energy left to move. All she could think about was rescuing Rong Lan quickly.
When Lu Qing arrived, Qin Miaomiao had fallen, and he came to a sudden halt. It was as if the whole world had collapsed; hearing the assistant talking to her, his legs felt like lead as he moved toward Qin Miaomiao.
"Miao Miao, can you hear my voice?"
