Assessing the situation, Ice Bear King thought, "If I were at my peak and fighting in the Extreme North, this human soul master wouldn't be my match. But with my origin power sealed, I can't beat him now."

"Ming Lei, are you just going to stand there? Aren't you going to explain what's going on?"
"Second Brother," Nether Thunder Douluo sighed helplessly before explaining how he had encountered Huo Yuhao and ultimately betrayed the Holy Spirit Cult.
Nangong Wan sighed. "So this was all a scheme between you and Huo Yuhao. Fine, tell me what do you want from me?"
"It's simple. You will remain in the Holy Spirit Cult and await my orders," Huo Yuhao stated.
"The Cult Master has shown me great kindness, and the Holy Emperor is always watching," Nangong Wan hesitated.
"If you don't want to die right now, you'd best cooperate," Huo Yuhao threatened. He had no moral qualms about pressuring an evil soul master who had killed countless innocents.
"Fine, I'll go along with it," Nangong Wan relented, choosing survival over loyalty.
Immediately, Huo Yuhao had Electrolux set a seal on Nangong Wan's soul core. If he ever attempted to leak information, the seal would detonate, killing him instantly.
