Chapter 347: A Theatrical Battle at Sea
What a grand accusation.
Watching Bo Saixi, who was radiating overwhelming negativity yet maintaining a façade of righteousness, Han Li really wanted to laugh.
And so, he did.
"Pfft… hahahaha…"
Right in front of everyone, Han Li burst into laughter, bending over as if he had just heard the funniest joke in the world. His laughter only grew louder, completely unabashed.
"Disrespecting the Sea God? Alright, sure. Maybe just a little. Beating up his High Priestess wasn't exactly polite."
He admitted it freely, his tone casual.
"But you? All of you? Are you really any better than me?"
His gaze swept mockingly over them.
"Don't tell me you didn't see LingLing receiving her divine trial?"
"And that trident mark on her forehead so obvious, yet not enough proof for the trial to proceed? Wow, High Priestess, your loyalty to Poseidon is truly commendable."
"Even a dog could do a better job standing guard. So what if I disrespect him? For all I know, he might even thank me for teaching you a lesson."
Han Li's words echoed across the ocean, tearing apart Bo Saixi's paper thin justifications.
The Seven Sacred Pillars exchanged glances, lowering their heads.
As the guardians of the Sacred Pillars, they did know a few things.
And, in a sense… Han Li wasn't wrong.
But Bo Saixi's authority, combined with her ability to interpret the Sea God's divine will, had long since conditioned them to ignore such contradictions.
After all, he was a god so close, yet so distant.
"Arrogant fool! How dare you call the Sea God by name? You shall not leave here alive!"
Driven by loyalty, the shame of being exposed, and her already mounting frustration, Bo Saixi snapped.
She moved.
The attack she had been preparing ever since leaving Sea God Island was finally unleashed.
Her scepter swung down.
"Die, wretch Sea God's Wrath!"
A surge of unparalleled power erupted.
Even the Seven Sacred Pillars and the Demon Spirit Great White Sharks instinctively backed away.
It had been years since they had last seen the High Priestess fight at full strength.
At the center of it all
The once tranquil ocean exploded.
Torrential waterspouts roared to life, spiraling from the sea and twisting together into a monstrous vortex.
The very sky darkened despite it being broad daylight.
A thick veil of water and storms blotted out the sun, drowning Han Li in darkness.
But the attack wasn't just water.
The incoming waves carried within them hurricane force winds, each gust sharp enough to tear flesh apart.
Right from the start, Bo Saixi had thrown her full domain power into the assault.
From what she had seen earlier, she believed Han Li was a beast martial soul user one with terrifying physical strength and endurance.
But what did that matter?
This was the ocean.
And in the face of the sea's might, no physical body could endure.
Her cold gaze locked onto Han Li, who remained completely still at the center of her attack.
"He must die."
But the next second
Her expression froze.
Her entire attack halted just ten meters from Han Li.
The blue waterspouts froze solid, instantly turning into towering white ice pillars.
The surrounding winds stopped dead, sealed away by an invisible wall of frost.
Instead of being torn apart
Han Li was protected.
And standing calmly within his frozen barrier, he spoke:
"Is that it? You're even weaker than I thought, High Priest ess of the Sea God."
The mockery in his voice was unmistakable.
As his words fell, the ice pillars shattered not outward, but inward, collapsing into a cascade of glistening white mist that drifted gently onto the ocean surface.
Under the sunlight, it was almost… beautiful.
Ice and fire were both his to command.
He had mastered them completely.
He simply preferred ice.
If he wanted to, he could have reversed her attack and thrown it back at her.
But that wasn't his style.
Destroying her confidence piece by piece, dragging her down into the abyss
That was how Han Li played the game.
"This… this is impossible…"
Bo Saixi involuntarily took a step back.
She started to protest only to stop herself.
The truth was right in front of her.
Denying it would only make her look like a fool.
But the very instant that thought crossed her mind
She attacked again.
A massive tidal wave erupted beneath her feet, propelling her higher into the sky.
Behind her, the ocean converged, forming a whirlpool spanning over a hundred meters.
Between her and Han Li
Raindrops began to fall.
Tiny, almost imperceptible at first.
But within seconds, they turned into a torrential downpour.
And hidden within the crashing rain
Was divine power.
"Dripping Water Pierces Stone."
A voice laced with barely restrained anger reached Han Li's ears, allowing him to catch the name of Bo Saixi's attack.
"Tsk. You seem… quite desperate."
As she watched, Han Li slowly raised his right hand.
A scarlet red umbrella, formed entirely from flames, appeared in his palm.
He casually opened it above his head.
Water counters fire. That was a basic elemental rule.
And yet, Han Li deliberately ignored it, flipping the logic on its head.
Elemental advantages only mattered when two forces were equal but unfortunately for Bo Saixi, he was far stronger.
An umbrella of fire… on the ocean?
Is he serious?
Not only Bo Saixi, but even the Seven Sacred Pillars and the Demon Spirit Great White Sharks who were already struggling against the aftershocks of Bo Saixi's attacks were stunned.
But then
Their eyes widened even further.
Han Li, holding his flame formed umbrella, walked toward Bo Saixi, his steps slow and unhurried.
The raindrops crashing into the sea exploded into mist on impact
Yet before they could even reach Han Li's umbrella, they vanished into steam.
No, it wasn't just his umbrella.
As Han Li moved forward, the rain simply ceased to exist in the area he passed through.
The path behind him was left completely dry, a trail of white mist marking his passage.
It wasn't just an advanced defense technique.
It wasn't just a countermeasure.
It was absolute rejection a denial of Bo Saixi's attack itself.
Bo Saixi's body trembled slightly.
Han Li hadn't even taken her control over the ocean.
And yet, precisely because he hadn't, her fear only deepened.
This was something she had never encountered before not even when she had fought both Tang Chen and Qian Daoliu at the same time.
Powerful. Unfathomable.
That was the truest way to describe Han Li.
But there was no turning back now.
And even if there was she had no intention of turning back.
Only blood could erase the humiliation she had suffered.
"Endless Ocean Burial!"
Her earlier attacks had merely been preparations to prevent Han Li from closing in.
This this was her real killing move.
Beneath her, the roaring tide had finished gathering, infused with divine power borrowed from her connection to the Sea God.
She was certain
No matter how powerful he was, he would be seriously injured by this strike.
And once that happened, her follow up attacks were already prepared.
A hundred meter high tidal wave loomed above Han Li, crashing toward him with terrifying speed.
The force was beyond overwhelming.
Even before it struck, the shifting waves beneath Han Li's feet made his body sway unsteadily.
It looked as if he were nothing more than a tiny boat, moments away from being flipped over.
But
His expression never changed.
The rolling tides did not affect him.
He moved gracefully, elegantly, as if dancing across the water his steps unwavering, his body perfectly balanced.
He didn't even glance at the monstrous wave bearing down on him.
The divine powered wave collided
and passed straight through him.
Only to retreat moments later.
Like a playful dolphin, the once deadly surge of water leapt joyfully beneath his feet, forming a platform that lifted him higher, propelling him toward Bo Saixi.
The white foam, glistening under the sun, seemed to worship him.
As if it acknowledged him as its true master.
Elementalization.
It was a gift he had received upon stepping into Soul Sage rank, after fully mastering the essence of ice and fire.
To put it simply
Water and fire could no longer harm him.
The only way to hurt him was to deprive him of his dominion over the elements.
And clearly
Bo Saixi could not.
"So much noise… for so little effect."
At this moment, she had no way out.
When she had unleashed her final attack, she had done so confidently
Releasing her Martial Soul Avatar directly above the ocean.
But never had she imagined that the Endless Ocean Burial would not only fail
It had backfired completely, turning into his advantage instead.
She had no choice left.
And so, she closed her eyes.
When she opened them again
Both her eyes and the eyes of the massive Sea God phantom behind her glowed with a golden light.
The contrast a deep blue backdrop filled with golden brilliance
It was a stunning visual display.
Han Li even had the leisure to admire the aesthetic quality of the special effects.
More importantly
He noticed something.
The divine energy surrounding Bo Saixi was concentrated entirely in the eyes of her Sea God Martial Soul.
A final move?
Sea God's Light?
Han Li lowered his flame umbrella, casually tossing it aside into the sea.
His smile only deepened.
Meanwhile, in the Divine Realm
Inside the God of Emotions' estate
Poseidon had just received some information from Rong Nianbing.
As he sipped his tea
His hand shook.
Bo Saixi's Martial Soul was also a god bestowed spirit.
When she prayed, Poseidon could not respond unless he was within the Sea God Temple.
But her Martial Soul
It carried a trace of his essence.
Even from another realm, he could vaguely sense something.
He had planned to continue chatting, using Rong Nianbing as a stepping stone to befriend the Five Great God Kings.
But at that moment
He lost all interest.
"God of Emotions, my apologies. I just remembered something urgent. I will visit another day."
Before Rong Nianbing could even reply, Poseidon was already rushing out the door, sprinting toward his own divine temple.
Hopefully… he wasn't too late.
Back on the ocean's surface
As the Sea God's Light was about to be released
Han Li slowly raised his left hand.
"This is it?"
