Chapter 321: A Bloody Reality Did Tianmeng Just Score Big?
"Hmm, don't misunderstand."
Seeing the two of them looking at him, Han Li quickly shook his head.
He had chosen this location purely because it was the place he had prepared the most. The Divine Realm had also grown accustomed to his "nurturing." Even if they had a sudden lapse in judgment and attempted to observe him again, they wouldn't forcibly break through while he was here, isolated.
"This place blocks the Divine Realm's sight."
Han Li pointed toward the sky, a slight smile on his face.
Wait so if they killed him here, the Divine Realm wouldn't know either?
At the same time, both Gu Yue and Di Tian had this thought flash through their minds. However, when they met Han Li's still unwavering smile, they quickly snapped back to reality.
Oh, right he was the Plane's Master. And unlike ordinary Plane Masters, he had forcibly seized control.
Gu Yue had already confirmed this the moment they entered this space. The immense, almost blinding fortune and faith energy surrounding him was something nearly impossible for a human to possess.
Furthermore, countless laws were constantly interacting with him, proving that he hadn't lied.
While she couldn't be entirely sure about his claim that his life and the Plane were tied together, she wasn't foolish enough to test that theory.
Not just Di Tian Han Li's offer was tempting even for her.
She understood the struggles of the soul beast race far more deeply than Di Tian did. Occasionally, she could still sense faint remnants of faith directed toward the Dragon God from soul beasts, though it was extremely rare.
Because of that, she cared less about her own recovery and far more about this potential change for her race.
One thing was clear: in this proposed collaboration, Han Li was taking the bigger risk. One could even say he was funding them.
And really, they had no other choice.
A newly ascended god after the Dragon God's war, one who did not view soul beasts as enemies, and the very Master of this Plane this was her opportunity, the soul beasts' opportunity.
Deep in her memories, within blood and fire, she saw the gods of the beast race fall one after another while the rest of the Divine Realm stood against her. That scene was etched into her soul.
Now, Han Li stood before her.
She had to consider was this her one and only chance in this life?
The soul beast race had once been glorious, and the Dragon God had played a crucial role in that. But he was gone. As his successor, it was her duty to restore their pride.
At the very least, this would allow her to recover more quickly.
Suppressing her emotions deep in her heart, Gu Yue returned to reality. She had come to secure as many benefits as possible, even if it made her seem greedy. She had no other choice.
"The Divine Realm's matters you learned about them from their memories?"
Because Han Li was no longer suppressing his aura, Gu Yue's gaze shifted toward his arms.
Even though they had been purified by the laws, faint traces could still be sensed. Not to mention, part of Han Li's Ice Fire origin had been inherited rather, devoured from them.
Perhaps… that's how her identity had been exposed?
"Partially."
Han Li didn't outright deny it, giving an ambiguous response instead.
When he had absorbed the soul bones, most of the memories were just remnants of battle there wasn't much actual information. But he had no problem letting her think otherwise. It wasn't important.
"I agree to your proposal."
Gu Yue's response was swift.
"I will use part of my authority to have Di Tian assist you. Before you become a god, we will shift our faith to you. However, it will only last until your ascension then it stops."
"Of course, you must help conceal this. The scale of this move won't be small. And as for the faith power you mentioned I expect more of it."
Gu Yue had no concept of negotiation. She simply laid out her terms, her tone firm.
"Fine. A 70 30 split."
Han Li glanced at her in surprise but didn't mind. Her decisiveness saved him a lot of unnecessary talk.
"With 70%, I could recover in no time."
Gu Yue's voice carried absolute confidence.
"Wait."
Han Li furrowed his brows, raising his right hand to stop her from continuing.
"Did you misunderstand something? When I said 70 30, I meant 70 for me, 30 for you."
"I only get 30%?"
Gu Yue looked at him in disbelief. Hadn't he said he needed a large amount of faith power?
"What else? 30% is already generous. If you hadn't come personally, I was only going to offer you 20%."
Han Li spoke as if it was the most natural thing in the world. He wasn't a charity.
"30% is too little. I can't accept that."
Gu Yue shook her head without hesitation.
"Three percent isn't little at all. Plenty would want even that but have no way to get it."
Han Li shook his head just as quickly. He wanted workers collaboration was just an excuse. Why was she taking it seriously?
"Think about it. Without my concealment, would you even dare to use your authority to contact others? Without it, how much faith power have you actually received so far? Not much, right? Otherwise, you wouldn't still be in this weakened state."
"Going from zero to three percent isn't that already a massive increase? And I'm taking seventy percent. Does that sound like a lot? You should know that even without your help, my collection speed would only be slightly slower."
Han Li pointed at his body, which had already undergone nearly fifty percent divine transformation. His spiritual energy had reached over eighty percent conversion.
At his core, he wasn't lacking faith power. Cooperating with the soul beasts was just a means to awaken his "obedient son" and prepare for his final leap forward. Becoming a god wasn't difficult, but he didn't intend to take the slow path.
The atmosphere grew slightly tense Han Li's stance was clear: he wouldn't budge on this.
More importantly, they couldn't afford to escalate things too much. Even if they reached an agreement, the faith power had to pass through Han Li first. He was essentially the supply chain manager offending the gatekeeper was never a wise move.
"Master, you're here!"
Just then, a playful voice rang out, carrying a hint of icy chill. It came from below Tianmeng.
It was the only being that could freely move around here. Sensing Han Li's presence in its sleep, it had rushed over to curry favor. The last time Han Li had looked at it… the gaze hadn't been very friendly.
Due to its soul sacrifice, its spiritual power was no longer as formidable as before. After transforming into an Ice Dragon, it had fully aligned with the ice attribute.
Then, as it flew up and saw the three figures before it, it froze mid air.
It didn't recognize the silver haired woman, but the man beside her Di Tian was all too familiar.
The moment it saw Di Tian, it could already feel its body aching. Back then, they had forcibly extracted its energy, a process no different from being skinned alive.
"Oh, Tianmeng, come meet your old friend."
With a casual wave, Han Li pulled it over. Now this was a literal application of Dragon Capturing Hands.
"That's… Tianmeng, that useless worm?"
Di Tian's eyes widened as he sensed the pure dragon bloodline within it. He couldn't believe it.
"Mm. Under the influence of the Ice Dragon King's bones, it evolved. It can now be considered a high purity member of the Ice Dragon Clan."
Held in Han Li's grasp, Tianmeng no longer felt as nervous.
Right! It had backing now! And clearly, among the three, Di Tian held the lowest status. So why should it be afraid?
It stretched its hind legs and straightened its spine slightly, even throwing a weak, defiant glance at Di Tian. It was a legitimate Ice Dragon now a proper dragon type soul beast.
And according to Han Li, its bloodline potential was exceptionally high, unmatched across the continent. Since it was essentially rebuilding its cultivation from scratch, the energy density here accelerated its progress immensely.
Di Tian, you call yourself the Beast God? You wouldn't want to carry the shame of harming a fellow dragon, would you?
Tianmeng really wanted to say this aloud. But after seeing the expressions on Di Tian and the silver haired woman, it decided to keep quiet.
"It once sacrificed itself to me. I promised that once I become a god, it will be granted god beast status and eternal life."
Han Li smiled as he ruffled Tianmeng like a pet before setting it down. The creature obediently rubbed against his leg.
Gu Yue and Di Tian were momentarily stunned before rage surged through them.
They wanted nothing more than to kill this thing on the spot.
But it was Han Li's dragon.
And not just any dragon one guaranteed to ascend as a divine beast.
From a certain perspective, after the fall of the Dragon God, Tianmeng had become the most successful soul beast in existence.
Which made it even more infuriating.
Di Tian stole a glance at Gu Yue, worried about how she would react. But he saw that she had merely closed her eyes. When she opened them again, her gaze was once again calm and unreadable.
"Fine. Three percent. But on the eve of your ascension, if I still haven't fully recovered, you'll need to provide additional support. That will benefit both you and me."
Perhaps it was Tianmeng's existence that had provoked her, but Gu Yue was much more decisive now, making a compromise while adding her own condition.
"No problem. That was my plan anyway."
Han Li glanced at Tianmeng, who was still huddled at his feet, stealing wary glances at Di Tian, and nodded.
Who would've thought it'd actually come in handy?
Gu Yue's proposal was reasonable. Unlike those still undergoing or yet to start their god trials, once she recovered, she would be a guaranteed powerhouse and a strong one at that.
As a powerful hidden ace, she was worth investing in, provided it didn't hinder his own progress.
Once he was ready, even if she didn't ask, he would ensure she was fully restored.
A top tier combatant, one willing to fight to the death where else was he going to find another like her?
"Then it's settled. This is my spatial coordinate. I need more energy, and faith power follows the same channels."
A white light appeared at Gu Yue's fingertip and shot toward Han Li, her violet eyes deep and unreadable.
Han Li made no move to dodge, letting the light merge into his body.
It was the same mechanism he had used when leaving the tracking function in the jade token for Di Tian except now, Gu Yue had returned the favor, allowing him to locate her hidden space.
"Let's go down and take a look."
Gu Yue showed no reaction to his response. Instead, she turned her gaze to the basin below. The commotion down there wasn't small she wanted to see what Han Li was up to.
"Alright."
Han Li kicked Tianmeng aside and gestured for them to proceed. The three of them descended together.
