Zaiyila was stunned and knit her brows. Suddenly, without any warning, she pounced on him and patted his head.
"Done! In front of you, I'm short, but I'm taller than others," she stated proudly and pouted.
Everett chuckled. "I say… my mum is so cute," he murmured, kissing her cheek.
Zaiyila smiled and looked at Everett. "Right, go and change immediately. Mum will take you shopping," she instructed, jumping down from his embrace.
Everett smiled. "Sure," he responded. "You should change as well," he added before lifting her up and carrying her to the room.
After a short while, the couple—or rather, the mother and son—were ready, both wearing matching outfits.
