Chapter 1 - A new assignment, saving a show

Author's Note:

Previously, I said that I wanted to write about the Side Quests of the Mondstadt Characters or Write about the Dates between the Traveler and the women/men of Liyue.

But after playing the Fontaine Chapter I changed my priorities, first Fontaine, then I'll dedicate myself to Liyue.

[Personal thoughts on Fontaine]:

Of the Six of the Seven Nations of Teyvat that I have explored so far, Fontaine is my favorite.

Maybe it's because of the Sherlock Holmes/Ace Attorney style missions.

Maybe because the Underwater Prison vaguely reminds me of BioShock.

It's probably thanks to Furina, Neuvillette, Navia, who are characters I absolutely adore.

[Explanation of some elements of the story]:

You don't need to read the main story to understand what's going on here.

However, I feel obliged to give a brief explanation.

In this universe Lumine and Aether never arrived on Teyvat, instead Adeline and Bruce appeared.

They are a pair of sister-brother twins and are Magic the Gathering-style Planeswalkers, hailing from Earth-2126 (a mix of Marvel and Nasuverse) and Ysatnaf (a mix of the Boiling Isles with elements of Final Fantasy and BlazBlue).

Adeline has become the Princess (Diva) of the Order of the Abyss.

Bruce became the Traveler who travels Teyvat in search of his sister and the Seven Archons to recover his powers that were sealed by the Unknown Goddess.

With this the explanation is finished and I wish you a happy reading.

Chapter 1: A new assignment, saving a show

POV Narrator

The day began as usual for the Traveler and Paimon, when they are not involved in the problems of the Archons or the crisis of the nation they are visiting.

Paimon, she physically has a small and graceful body, which gives her the appearance of a fairy.

She has thick white hair cut just above her shoulders, dark purple eyes, and pale skin.

He wears a white long-sleeved sweater, a midnight blue cape dotted with stars, white socks and white boots.

Rose gold embroidery and decorative cuffs are attached to the sweater, boots and sleeves. A gold triquetra is embroidered on the front of the sweater.

Paimon's accessories are a dark blue star-shaped hairpin and a rose gold tiara that levitates above her head like a halo.

As it moves, you can see a trail of small floating constellations.

The person who plays the role of the Traveler in this timeline/universe is called, Bruce Bel Bahamut Belmont, but no one other than Paimon knows his True Name.

The Traveler has the appearance of an effeminate boy in late puberty.

He is 175 centimeters tall and has an androgynous build, which makes it very difficult to determine his gender.

The Traveler's face has soft, delicate features, thin eyelashes, and facial features reminiscent of Artoria Pendragon or Morgan Le Fay, some of her ancestors through her maternal grandmother.

Her skin color is bright, milky white, smooth and free from imperfections.

The Traveler has beautiful, very long, inky black hair, kept in a variation of the Hime cut with the addition of a couple of braids.

The hairstyle consists of a front fringe, straight side locks, long up to the cheeks that hide the ears.

The Traveler's long hair is held in two braids: a front braid that covers the left side of his face and a back braid that falls behind his head, past his shoulders.

The back braid is thick and intricate, as if the Traveler were a relative of Rapunzel; the braid reaches knee height.

This braid is decorated with seven long red threads made of an unknown material.

At the end of the braid is a large, thick, ring-shaped silver accessory, decorated with runes of an alphabet unknown to Teyvat.

The back braid is simple and elegant: it covers the Traveler's left eye, then becomes thinner and continues until it reaches the heart area.

This braid is decorated with a purple ribbon and at the end there are four silver beads.

The right eye is visible and shows a light gray coloration, although it can appear silver in the right light; the pupil is amethyst purple.

He wears a black and purple suit with several silver accessories, such as rings, bracelets, tie clips, and brooches.

Around the Traveler's multifunctional belt is an imitation of a Vision Electro.

The most eye-catching piece of clothing is his leather coat, which looks like it came straight out of a cyberpunk world, colored mostly black with neon purple stripes and topped with a hood trimmed with silver feathers.

On the back of the coat is a fake Delusion. This accessory, along with the False Vision, serve to explain to the masses why the Traveler can use multiple elements.

The Traveler and Paimon are walking towards the local branch of the Adventurers Guild, looking for new tasks to complete in exchange for a fee.

"Paimon could get used to having a nice breakfast every morning at Fontaine's cafe." The little fairy said happily, with crumbs of chocolate croissant in the corner of her mouth.

"I admit that it is pleasant to be on a terrace with a good tea, some pastries and a good book." said the Traveler, savoring the small pleasures offered by Fontaine.

"After helping save the Fontaine Nation, we deserve a little vacation." Paimon said, wanting to enjoy the local wonders as a tourist.

"Little Fairy, do not indulge too much in your vices, we will stay here a couple of months or so. After that we return to travel in the wilds and camp in the plains or caves." Said the Traveler in a stoic voice, while taking out from his pockets a purple handkerchief with silver embroidery.

"Paimon knows that our journey is far from over, that's why Paimon wants to enjoy having a roof over his head and shops within easy reach." Said the Little Fairy, preferring to sleep in a real bed and not in a cave on the Traveler's stomach or back.

"Apart from not overdoing it with food, you need to take more care of your image." Bruce said, wiping crumbs off Paimon's face.

"Paimon could have cleaned herself, Paimon is not a child." Said the Little Fairy, slightly embarrassed by her traveling companion's actions.

"Do not tell this to me, but to all those who mistook us as a brother-sister or father-daughter pair." The Traveler said, aware of how he and Paimon are perceived by the people who know them.

"Half the fault is yours, Traveler, you are too kind to Paimon!" The Little Fairy said raising her voice, trying to sound angry, but in reality it is adorable.

"Little Fairy, are you angry that I take care of you? This is new. Well, from now on I will stop taking care of you, you will have to find someone else to provide you with money for food and shelter." Bruce said in a stoic and serious voice.

Paimon's face turned as white as his dress when he heard the Traveler's statement.

Since the Little Fairy became the guide of the stranger from another world, all sorts of things have happened to her.

But through the ups and downs of their long journey across Teyvat, Paimon has never gone hungry or been left sleeping outside like an animal.

"Paimon was joking, he doesn't care what people think. Paimon doesn't want to change his solid relationship with BB." The little fairy said, using her affectionate nickname for her traveling companion.

"I noted your statement, Marshmallow." The Traveler replies, using his nickname for the Fairy.

Paimon she sighs with relief, happy that she doesn't have to worry about food and shelter, having enough to worry about already. Her traveling companion, the Traveler, is a natural disaster magnet, not to mention his unique personality.

XXX

In less than a minute, the Traveler and Paimon were on the right track, having lined up to visit the local branch of the Adventurers Guild.

"We have arrived at our destination, I hope we get a search and destroy assignment." Said the Traveler, preferring missions that are related to monster extermination.

"BB, you can't go a day without hitting someone with one of your weapons or using your magic to do something." Paimon said, having long since noticed that his traveling companion is... prone to violence.

"My record is thirteen days without a fight of any kind." Bruce comments, knowing his limits.

"Paimon doesn't believe you." Paimon said, with an impassive look, crossing his little arms.

"My record is 13 days without fighting. But I start to get restless after 72 hours, then worse with each passing day. I start to indulge in all sorts of hobbies and become more sexually active, as it is the closest thing to a fight." Said the Traveler, going into detail about his behavior.

"Paimon believes you now!" exclaims the Little Fairy, with a red face and an embarrassed expression, having heard more than she wanted to know.

The Traveler being a person without shame and modesty, walks forward, reaching his destination.

The first to speak was Paimon, wanting to forget certain details of her discussion with the Traveler.

"Hey, Katheryne, it's us! Got any new commissions? Specifically, one with a huge Mora tag, perhaps...?" asks the little fairy, her eyes shining with her love of money.

"There are only two things in your head: food and money?" asks the Traveler, sometimes finding Paimon's two "obsessions" annoying.

"Paimon is in a better situation than you. In your head there is only: work, business, magic, science, war, forge and criminology." Said the little fairy, knowing the "obsessions" of her traveling companion.

The Traveler turns to the little fairy, his face remains unreadable, but a pale ghost of a smile appears.

"My Marshmallow fairy knows her Master well. Tonight you will receive a double desert." Said the Traveler, while stroking Paimon's head as if he were a house dog that had done a good trick.

"Paimon accepts affection and extra sweets at dinner." The little fairy said, taking the offered winnings without asking questions.

The Traveler turns to Katheryne, wiping every ounce of emotion from his face.

"Doll, let's talk business now, I want a search and destroy type assignment. If there's none, I'll take a high risk, high reward job." The Traveler said, as he summons into his hands a silver walking stick that looks like it was created in Remnant (RWBY).

Before being stranded on Teyvat, the Traveler traveled to many different worlds, gaining knowledge and rewards of all kinds.

"Katheryne, despite Traveler's difficult personality, you know he's worth it. For quality work and quick results, you should choose Paimon and Traveler!" Paimon said, acting like a promotional mascot.

"I am a high-level adventurer who has operated in several countries of Teyvat, with a 100% success rate. We have yet to fail an assignment." The Traveler said in a professional tone, proud of his reputation cultivated during his journey.

"Hehe, it's always a pleasure to see our two most avid adventurers again." Katheryne replies, kindly, enjoying the spectacle offered by the Traveler and Paimon.

"Doll, less compliments and more information about the job." Said the Traveler, not being in the mood for small talk with Katheryne.

'The hero of five nations who has struck up a strange "friendship" with every Archon he has met and stolen the hearts of numerous Vision bearers of both sexes. He is a true Ice Prince, with a sharp tongue and quite a few problems.' Paimon thinks, knowing his traveling companion's personality very well.

"We actually have a rather urgent commission that is still open. After reading the details, however, I don't think you would consider it lucrative." Katheryne confesses, not having a mission that satisfies the Traveler and Paimon's requests.

"Um, don't worry. We were just kidding. So what's the situation?" The little fairy said, not being as obsessed with money as she seemed.

"Money is rarely a priority for me, I just need to do something to keep from being bored to death." Said the Traveler, considering boredom a worse problem than poverty.

Katheryne smiles, seeing that Traveler and Paimon are in the mood for another out-of-the-ordinary task.

"To put it simply, the applicant is looking for a temporary replacement for their musical. The original cast member has had some issues and is currently unable to perform the role." Katheryne begins by telling of the emergency assignment.

"Saving a play, I'm a little intrigued, I want the details." Said the Traveler, showing some interest in this task.

"The crew also had financial difficulties, so unfortunately they couldn't afford to pay the replacement actress." Katheryne details the assignment.

"Hmm... This seems like a complicated situation. So, basically, they're looking for a volunteer?" Paimon asks, crossing his arms.

"That's right. Our adventurers have contacted many actresses, but none of them were willing to take the job. The show is only a few days away. If they can't find someone in time, they'll probably have to postpone the show. And delays tend to create all sorts of new problems." Katheryne said, making the two Adventurers realize how big the emergency is.

"Understood... Oh... This is a big mess." Paimon said, putting a hand on his forehead, starting to feel a slight headache.

"What do you think, Traveler? Do you have any ideas?" Paimon asks, hoping his traveling companion has a solution.

"Actually, I have a solution." Said the Traveler, having in his mind an idea to solve the problem at its root.

"Paimon is happy to have such a smart friend, Paimon wants to hear your idea!" exclaims the little fairy, joyfully.

"I'll take a trip out of town and perform my usual magic trick to contact a friendly face, Nero, she would be perfect for the leading role, no one loves the theater and the fine arts as much as she does." The Traveler said in an almost happy tone, speaking in code.

Paimon, on the contrary, turned pale, as if her best friend had suggested that she bring a bear juggling explosives on stage.

'BB's backup plan of summoning a Heroic Spirit to help us won't work this time. Nero is a nice and funny woman, she loves art, but she has no talent for art at all. When she sings in public, the audience starts running away without holding back. Only BB is left to listen and enjoy Nero's show.' Paimon thinks, having suffered the torture of Nero's singing.

Unfortunately, the Little Fairy, unlike the audience, could not escape, due to her friendship with the female singer (Nero) and Nero's single fan (Bruce).

The Little Fairy looks at her traveling companion and tries to invent an excuse to disapprove of his idea.

"Paimon understands that Nero loves to sing and be on stage. Paimon understands that the Traveler loves Nero's performances for reasons that Paimon doesn't understand. However, Fontaine is not ready for Nero's talent, if she has to perform, she has to do it in a big way, not with a theater troupe with financial problems and so on." Said the Little Fairy, trying not to offend the Creator's muse and prevent the inhabitants of Fontaine from discovering a new form of suffering.

"You are right, Paimon. Nero is not a woman who accepts every role that appears, she needs a role worthy of her talent." Said the Traveler, nodding his head, accepting Paimon's explanation.

'Paimon has contributed to the salvation of Fontaine for the second time.' The Little Fairy thinks, proud of having prevented a new (musical) calamity from falling on the nation of Fontaine.

"Too bad neither of us have experience starring in musicals." Paimon said, disappointed that she couldn't help this time.

"Actually, I have a good experience in theater, acting, musical numbers. Especially when it comes to playing the role of a woman." Said the Traveler, while playing with his front braid that covers his left eye.

Paimon blinks, surprised to learn this fact about her traveling companion, but not by much, the Traveler is an effeminate boy who is often mistaken for a woman.

"Paimon wants to know why she's never heard you talk about your past in the theater." Paimon asks, always ready to learn new things about her traveling companion's colorful past.

"It's a long story, made up of events that have happened over the years. But it all started when I entered Ars Magus Academy, the best school of magic in my Mother Owl's home country." The Traveler said with a bittersweet tone, remembering his family who are on two different worlds, Earth-2126 and Ysatnaf.

"Unfortunately, Ars Magus Academy is an all-girls school with a zero-tolerance policy for men. So I disguised myself as a girl, creating the identity of Harley Lillian." The Traveler said, looking ready to tell the story of his (school) life.

'Paimon will have to take out his notebook, the Traveler doesn't exaggerate when he claims his stories to be long.' The little fairy thinks, having among her belongings a small mountain of notebooks filled with the details of Bruce's past.

"Hmm... If you're interested in helping, why don't you start chatting with the person who asked you? He's right over there. His name is Luawick." Katheryne said, pointing to a fat, blond man.

Katheryne, unlike Paimon, does not want to listen to the Traveler's very long story, having other things to do.

"Ohh, it's that guy, huh? No wonder he looks like he just ate a sour lemon." Paimon said, noticing the big man's sour expression.

Luawick has a stocky build, short, dirty-blonde hair, and yellow eyes. His clothing consists of a green suit and a white shirt, accompanied by gray pants and a pair of brown boots that reach mid-calf.

"Let's go talk to this Luawick, if the show is good enough I might be able to show off my acting and crossdressing talents." Said the Traveler, starting to walk towards Luawick.

"Paimon approves. Let's go!" said the Little Fairy, floating alongside the Traveler, wanting to see how this story would end.

XXX

In a moment, the Traveler and Paimon arrived from Luawick.

"Hi! Are you the guy who's looking for a new actress?" Paimon asks with a small, friendly smile, trying to make the worried man feel better.

"Wait… I know you both!" Lauwick exclaims with a surprised expression at being spoken to by such VIPs.

"Are you really willing to act in my musical!?" Lauwick asks, not believing what is happening.

"Wow, it looks like we're already pretty famous in Fontaine! Heehee." Paimon said, enjoying the fame he receives.

The Traveler bangs his stick on the ground, the noise brings the little fairy back to reality.

"Um... But to answer your question, Paimon has no experience in musicals, but the Traveler has some experience with theater." Paimon said, glancing at the Traveler.

"I have a lot of experience pretending to be someone else. I was involved in the drama club at Ars Magus Academy and Nevermore Academy. Adeline, my twin sister was a Hollywood Diva, she asked me to fill in for her several times and no one noticed. Then, I raised a princess who divided her life between her duties to House Bahamut and her love of the stage." Explains the Traveler, having more than a connection to the world of spotlights and extravagant costumes.

Lauwick looks the Traveler up and down, seeing if he could fit into the female lead's costume and pass as a woman.

"Even if I am not suitable for the role, I am willing to help you find a solution, after all I am a consultant and a supporter of the fine arts." Said the Traveler, having decided to help save the show, it being a rather interesting assignment.

"I knew volunteer was a long shot, but it might work," Lauwick said, finding Bruce's effeminate appearance passable.

"You're a little tall, we'll have to make some changes to the costume. There might be some issues with the actor playing the male lead, but in the worst case scenario we'll have to cut out the kissing scenes. But if you can act, the role is yours," Lauwick said, willing to make changes to the show just to get it done.

"I said I was willing to help, but I would only go up on stage and sing if I liked the opera." Said the Traveler, having his own standards to live up to.

"Understandable, I'll get you a draft of the show. I hope you'll agree to be an understudy, otherwise we'll have no choice but to cancel the show. That would be a real shame." Lauwick said, his tone full of hope and despair.

"If you try to make me feel sorry or sorry for you, it won't work. My choice depends on the quality of your work, nothing more, nothing less." Said the Traveler, in a serious voice, holding his staff in front of him.

"Paimon has a question: Can't you cover the budget for a new professional actress with tickets?" Paimon said, believing that it would be easier to do that than to seek volunteers or work with the Traveler.

Lauwick looks down at the ground.

"The thing is... We're not a high-profile theater company. Just a bunch of passionate amateurs. All our sets and props are very rudimentary. We're pretty grateful just to have an audience, let alone the ticket prices," Lauwick confesses, not being in a great financial situation.

"Money and fame are things that don't interest me. I've accepted a job and I want to see it through." Bruce said, more interested in the show itself than the conditions of the stage.

"If we had found a way to make this profitable, things might have turned out differently... But now it seems inevitable that we will disband," Lauwick said, seeing no future for himself and his colleagues.

"Break up? Are you splitting up the crew?" Paimon asks, with a sad expression.

"It's no surprise, in show business there are two possibilities, you fly high and become a star or you fall down and disappear from the scene." Said the Traveler, maintaining a neutral expression.

Clearly, Paimon is the heart of the Traveler's team.

"Oh, I suppose the lady from the Adventurers' Guild didn't tell you? Yeah... This is supposed to be our last show together as a company." Lauwick said, sounding defeated.

"One last show, and then we'll go our separate ways. So we were really hoping to end on a high note. Nobody wants things to... just run out of steam. Not after all the time and effort we've put into it." Lauwick says, determined to do one last show.

"The doll said that one of your actresses will not be able to participate, may I know what happened?" asks the Traveler, slightly curious about what happened to the main actress.

"Yes... the main character, actually. She's been dealing with a chronic illness since childhood, and unfortunately it's flared up recently. It's really draining her of all energy, so she's unable to perform." Lauwick said, expressing concern for her sick friend.

'This theater group is out of luck.' The Traveler thinks, certain that he will have a lot to do if he wants to complete this task.

"The show won't be the same without her… But for everyone else's sake, I'm still hoping we can figure out a way to make the show happen on schedule," Lauwick said, with other issues on his mind that he needed to address in order to get the show done.

"Understood. Now we have a clearer picture." Paimon said, understanding how serious the situation is.

"If this is your Requiem and I'm going to be backstage or on stage, I wouldn't mind if we sponsored the show." Said the Traveler, preferring to go out with a bang.

"Oh, please, there's no need to go that far. I wouldn't feel comfortable asking for such a big favor, and I can't promise that we'll ever be able to repay you." Lauwick said, unable to accept such a proposal.

"If you won't accept money to enhance the performance of your Requiem. I think I'll have to find a real actress who can bring down the curtain in a memorable way." Said the Traveler, wanting to contribute in some way.

"You want to withdraw, you haven't read the script yet?" Lauwick asks, worried that he might lose the only willing replacement.

"Calm down, Lauwick, your tear-jerking story has not convinced me, but I want to give a worthy burial to your dream. I have some experience with the world of entertainment, I can be an actor, but I prefer to work behind the scenes, dealing with special effects, clothes, accessories, props etc." Said the Traveler, considering himself more useful as a creator or manager than as an actor.

"Paimon agrees with the Traveler. We should find someone who can give the best performance possible." Said the little fairy, wanting the Lauwick theater company to have a worthy ending.

"I'll be your plan B, but if we want to do a proper Requiem, the show needs a real star, loved and revered by all of Fontaine." Said the Traveler, having a specific person in mind for the female lead role.

The little fairy remains silent for a moment, reflecting on the words of her traveling companion.

"Hmm... Oh, wait! And you-know-who...?" Paimon asks, having realized who the Traveler is referring to.

"Yes, I am referring to the actress who fooled the entire world until the greatest Detective in the Multiverse and his Fairy Assistant arrived in Fontaine." Said the Traveler, not hiding the fact that he has a great self-esteem bordering on arrogance when it comes to his skills as a Detective.

"Haha, that's why you know we're the best partners! We're always on the same page!" exclaims the little fairy, happy to have guessed right.

"Considering that he has finished playing the role of his life and no longer occupies his old position, he should have a clear schedule," said the Traveler, confident that the woman he has chosen is available.

"She is really good at performing, and she used to be very popular with the audience... performing in a musical should be a breeze for her!" said the little fairy, confident that the show will be a success with that woman as the main actress.

"Who are you thinking of? Does it sound like someone famous...?" Lauwick asks, having no idea who the Traveler and Paimon are talking about.

The Black Planeswalker and the White Fairy turn to Lauwick and simultaneously reveal the name of the chosen actress: "Furina!"

"Her!? You two... are kidding, right?" Lauwick asks, his expression incredulous.

"Um... no. Paimon doesn't know if she's ever performed on stage before, but Paimon is convinced that Furina would be really good." Said the little fairy, confident in Furina's future success.

"Furina has lived for 500 years in Fontaine, a good part of her life has been spent around the theater and the world of entertainment. As an experience, it is the best of all Fontaine as a showgirl." Said the Traveler stoically.

"You two are not wrong... She has actually performed in several big name shows in the past. They were one of the reasons Furina was so popular. But even though she is no longer the Hydro Archon, it's not like she's suddenly a commoner." Lauwick said, clearly holding Furina in high regard.

"A fanboy." The Traveler mutters under his breath, realizing what kind of person he is talking to.

"Furina, you are still an idol to many people in Fontaine, including myself... I just think that Lady Furina might feel a little out of place in an amateur company like ours." Lauwick said, his voice humble.

Poor Lauwick considers himself too insignificant to work with Lady Furina.

"Go big or go home. This is your last show, so it must be the best show you've ever been in. Furina will be the crown jewel of the show and I will make every gem sparkle." Said the Traveler, determined to make a Requiem worthy of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

"Huh... Right, I mean, if she was really willing to do it, then I would be honored to have Lady Furina star in our show. I'm sure the rest of the crew would be happy too." Lauwick said, not daring to contradict the Traveler.

"I'm sure everyone in our company has dreamed of performing on stage with one day, it all depends on his interest... He might consider this opportunity beneath his means." Lauwick said, his voice depressing.

Yes, luck and confidence are things that Lauwick is lacking at the moment.

"There's no point in stressing about it. We'll only find out if we ask her. Besides, things are different now. There's no reason for her to be all snooty and mighty anymore." The little fairy said, ever positive.

A necessary feature when traveling with a Traveler like Bruce.

"Actually, I wanted to contact Furina and see how she was, I haven't seen her since Neuvillette and I defeated the All-Devouring Narwhal. Asking her to be the main actress in the show is a good excuse to look for her." The Traveler comments, having Lady Furina's fate in his head for several days.

"You care about Furine. That's sweet of you!" exclaims the little fairy, overjoyed to see when the ice prince melts for someone.

"I'm not sweet. I'm taking responsibility, I've revealed Furina's secret to all of Fontaine, now she's just a pretty, popular, defenseless girl with a five-hundred-year history on her shoulders. Keeping an eye on her for a while is my obligation." Said the Traveler, crossing his arms, bringing out his tsundere side.

Paimon says nothing, instead he smiles and floats in place, taking into account the precise words used by his Traveling companion.

The little fairy is having fun playing cupid with the Traveler and the victim of the moment.

"Thank you for your help, Traveler and Paimon. I think I'll stay here and wait for the good news. Good luck!" Lauwick said, leaving the situation to more capable people than himself.

Paimon and Lauwick glanced at the Traveler, surprised that he knew this information.

"Paimon is glued to you from dawn to dusk, when you learned Furina's address, did you start walking outside again when Paimon is sleeping?" asks the Little Fairy with a stern expression.

"Wait, where does Furina live nowadays? She used to live in luxury at Palais Mermonia, but she's, uh... gone, right?" Paimon asks, having no idea where Furina is.

"I know Furina's address." The Traveler states nonchalantly.

"Paimon, don't you remember when Neuvillette invited us to drink tea. He and I talked for a couple of hours about various topics, while you ate like a little piranha while flying. Furina was one of the many topics of discussion." The Traveler explained how he knows where Furina lives now.

The little fairy takes on a thoughtful expression, I remember little of the discussions between her traveling companion and the charming judge.

"Paimon remembers the dishes served with the tea very well, but the rest of the tea party is rather vague. You and Neuvillette talked about court cases and such." The little fairy confesses with a slightly embarrassed expression.

"Typical Paimon." The Traveler mutters, knowing that the little fairy becomes blind and deaf if she finds herself near a table full of food.

"Alright, let's go find Furina. We'll be back in a heartbeat!" Paimon proclaims, pumping his fist in the air.

"Paimon is an overly optimistic child. The two of us will return after lunch with Furina." The Traveler said, turning his back on Lauwick and starting to walk away.

"Paimon is curious. Why are we going back after lunch? Do you think we should negotiate with Furina for a long time?" asks the little fairy, wanting to know what her traveling companion is planning.

"It's not obvious, I want to take Furina to lunch in the city, a great way to discuss business and in an elegant place with good food." Said the Traveler, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"Paimon can't contradict your idea, BB. Let's go find Lady Furina and a restaurant with huge dishes!" exclaims the little fairy, even happier than before.

Continues ...
