His face paled slightly. The destruction of the rings had clearly caused a reaction, but it was manageable. Everything was going according to plan.
After all, though the future video had been fabricated, it had been crafted based on real possibilities. There was no risk of failure the system had already determined that this method was 100% guaranteed to work.
After adjusting his breathing and stabilizing his condition, Ye Cheng closed his eyes and began forming his true soul rings.
Condensing the True Rings
A brilliant aura surged around him as the energy of the universe itself poured toward him. Light coalesced, wrapping him in a shimmering cocoon.

Now, all that remained was the final step becoming a god.

Ye Cheng closed his eyes, regulating his mind and spirit.
