Rachael is annoyed. He can tell .
But he asked a valid question. Didn't he ?
" Well ? " He pokes at her for answer.
She sits back , sighing dramatically.
" Well friends before foes " she mutters " our senior batch probably lost it , and the blames gonna be on us ..."
Nathan frowns.
Seniors lost it ? Last time he checked they had a reputation for being 'way to responsible' for their own good.
Rachel continues " they did a performance. Like a year ago. Something about zombie. I don't why , but they used skeleton to show it "
" Huh ? Wouldn't skeleton fit more to nightmare before Christmas or phantom ofcthe opera ? "
Rachael glances sharply at him .
" You read that ? "
" Of course. That's a classic"
Rachel stares at him as though she wasn't expecting this .
She chuckles " i thought you are without any hobby !"
Nathan feels a bit insulted" what's that supposed to mean ? "
" Well.." she says " you did bully carter , calling him nerd . So it's only natural for me to assume you aren't a nerd at all ..like the type who wouldn't even step on their shadows"
There's a hint of amusing smile on her face.
Nathan feels his face burn . What the hell is even this conversation going?
He coughs awkwardly " those are classic literature. You have to read them "
" Oh really?" Her smile is turning into smirk .
Hmmm no , Nathan doesn't like it how it's turning .
" Yes really. Those are part of the syllabus " he announced , one last attempt to save himself from shame .
She drops the bombshell " I bet you must have like the drama we are doing now ? "
Nathan's pupil are almost blown away , Rachel notices . She chuckles. Seems like a classic " i became the very thing I hated " .
Nathan's face is also kinda red . She decides gotta poke at that. A mild , tiny iti bity revenge for harrasing Carter.
She stands up quickly.
" I know we have published proof of that already. So if you want we can go and see the drama properly. "
Nathan actually glances at the wall clock at the comment. Oh ! He must be invested in soap opera !
" I haven't seen movies for a while now " he stands up dusting his pants " if I don help you " he pauses " let me watch that "

Turns out carrying boxes down the stairs is much easier. Rachel had put in a few more items but that's alright.
He jostles the box a bit , almost immidietly a light touch of a hand on the box .
" You okay ?" Rachael asks supporting the box lightly.
Nathan groans out a yes to her . She is weird he decides . Almost as weird as Theo. First angry at him . Then concerned for his shoulder.
Oh , he remembers he still hasn't texted theo back . About cancelling the dinner invite .
Dinner invitation was about theo's parents anniversary.
They are quite the strong bond silly couple , onec you see them makes you understand where did Theo's personality really come from .
Theo must be excited to have grand celebration this year. Nathan is still not sure why he is invited at all. His time is already very short . Now with this volunteer thingy , even more time to invest in studying.
