Chapter 6 - Chapter 6:- The Arena

Jai Veer and Anvi teleported to the Aaroha Academy camp along with the old man who is the Vice Principal of Aaroha Academy, Shekhar Singh.

"It's still some time before morning, Anvi. Go back to your camp and take some rest. And you come with me," he said to Anvi and then to Jai Veer.

Anvi went back to the camp to take some rest, and before entering the camp, she turned back and said, "Bye! Veer," and entered the camp.

The vice principal starts walking towards his camp, as the vice principal said Jai Veer follows him.

"So your name is Veer, isn't it?" The vice principal asked Jai Veer to confirm it.

"Ah! Actually, my full name is Jai Veer; sorry I didn't tell you before," he apologized.

"Oh! You don't have to apologize; I didn't ask earlier," the vice-principal said and laughed.

After walking for some distance, they reached the vice-principal's camp.

"So, Jai Veer, rest here. I will call you in a while. You have to fight a student from our Aroha Academy to pass the entrance test, so rest and be ready for the fight; there will be a lot of students and teachers there," the vice-principal said to Jai Veer and walked out of the camp.

"I understand! So now I have to fight a student from Aroha Academy. Hmm, that will be fine; I don't think they will match me with a very strong opponent for the entrance test," he spoke to himself and sat down in a cultivation posture to recover his strength and injuries.

A few hours later in the morning,

"Ah! I am feeling good and energetic now; last night was really tough." Jai Veer stood up and stretched his hands and body.

He was pulling himself up; suddenly someone entered the camp.

"Huh?! Anvi, why are you here?" he asked Anvi, who had just entered the camp.

"Vice Principal Sir has sent me here; he said your match will be in a few hours, so I have come to take you to the place where the matches are happening," she explained to Jai Veer.

"Matches!?" Jai Veer, said with a confused look.

"Yes, the matches are for who will go to hunt grade 1 beasts in the forest and who won't, but I think your match will be for both the entrance and the hunt," she replied and cleared Jai Veer's confusion.

"Okay, then let's go," he said and started to walk out.

"Wait!! Are you leaving with this torn cloth? First fix it with your magical energy," she stopped his way and ordered.

"Oh! I completely forgot to fix that; thanks for reminding me, Anvi. Now please take me along." He thanked her and immediately fixed the cloth.

Jai Veer followed her to the battlefield.

There are many students around his age, but fewer in cultivation than him, and some are 1-2 years bigger than him with a peak level of 9-star Jagruti (Awakening) stage.

And there are also some teachers, whose cultivation level is very good, but Jai Veer did not see the vice-principal anywhere.

"Strange! The vice-principal fixed my match here, but he is not here," he thought as he looked around.

There are three ground arenas for the matches between the students, and a teacher in each arena keeps the matches in fair order and announces the results at the right time; some teachers are casually looking at the matches only.

"Arena 2, match number 5, won by Vipin Kumar," the teacher of Arena 2 announced and continued his announcement.

"And for match number 6, Anvi and Suraj Kumar come to Arena 2."

"Match time! I have to go now," Anvi said and started walking towards Arena 2.

From behind, Jai Veer said, "Good luck!" As a result, Anvi turned back, smiled at him, and continued her walk.

Anvi and Suraj were both on Arena 2; the teacher gave a start signal, and the fight between the two of them began.

They were both on Jagruti 3-star. Suraj started attacking with magical powers, and Anvi dodged every attack and rushed towards him with her dagger.

"O! So she wants to fight close up, so let's do this," thought Suraj and took out his sword.

Anvi attacked with the dagger; Suraj blocked the attack, and a series of attacks, interceptions, and counterattacks took place between them.

"Huh, huh, huh!!! She's really strong, and her moves are great at dodging and attacking," Suraj thought with heavy breaths and decided to use a technique to defeat her instantly.

"Sword Power Attack": Suraj held the sword with both hands near his chest.

The life force from his body transferred to the sword and was enhanced by the sword power attack.

On the other hand, Anvi also uses a technique to counterattack.

"Amplified Thunderbolt Attack," she said and made some movements.

The two attacks collided in the air; as a result, an explosion occurred, and Suraj was injured by Anvi's attack.

"Ah! How is that possible? Her attack was more powerful than mine!?" He exclaimed as he took a few steps back due to the attack.

Anvi immediately took advantage of this opportunity, filled her Dragger with magical energy, and attacked it to Suraj.

Suraj was surprised by this immediate attack and tried to block it with his sword, but the energy of the dagger was too much; as a result, he fell to the ground, and his sword fell some distance away from him.

The Arena 2 teacher announced, "Anvi, the winner of Match No. 6, as Suraj cannot fight anymore due to his injuries."

Suraj looked at Anvi walking out of the arena with angry expressions.

When Anvi came back to Jai Veer, she asked,

"What happened!? You look shocked."

"Ah! No, nothing. I was just thinking. It seems like all the students here have some techniques, but I here have no techniques at all," he said and looked towards the arena.

"Oh, that's why you are shocked. Actually, in our academy, every student gets the chance to learn techniques according to completing different activities, but mostly they give very common techniques; due to our young age, we only have common techniques," she told him.

"So, by activities, you mean tournaments, matches, and missions—that kind of activity, right?" he asked her to clear his doubts.

"Yes, I also got the Amplified Thunderbolt technique from completing one of those activities," she cleared his doubts.

"Oh! So then that technique you used in the forest is also from the academy!?" he immediately asked again.

"Hmm... That's a secret, so I can't tell you," she smiled and looked away.

"That means you didn't get that technique from the academy; then there is only one possibility that you are definitely from a strong clan, right!?" He asked and came in front of her for an answer.

"You are definitely smart, but anyway, I will not reveal my clan's name to anyone, whether they are from my academy or not, and don't bring up this topic again, understand?" She took a few steps toward Arena and said.

"Huh!? Okay, then I won't ask you anything more," he said.

One hour later,

There was an announcement in Arena 3.

"For match number 17, Jai Veer and Anmol Ratan come to Arena 3 as soon as possible."

"Finally!! My turn has come; let's see who my opponent is," Jai Veer thought and walked towards Arena 3.

When Jai Veer entered Arena 3, he found himself in front of the Peak 9-Star Jagruti Stage boy, who is also big in height and a bit older than him in age.

"Hey!! Look at Arena 3; there's a little kid who seems to be a new cultivator, but he's going to fight Anmol Ratan. He's going to die today, for sure, hahahaha!"

"Yeah right, he's going to be a complete mess after this match."

Two guys from the crowd talked loudly and made fun; because of this, Arena 3 is now getting a lot of attention from all three arenas, and from the crowd, everyone is talking and laughing about the match that's going to happen at Arena 3.
