Galyana tried to act relaxed because she could sense a menacing air around him despite the fact that he was nonchalantly leaning against her wall, smoking and studying her.
"You've made yourself younger again," he remarked as he pushed from the wall and took his cigar between his gloved fingers.
"I can't help but wonder who among your customers gave you what you need for it." He put his cigar away and walked toward her with slow steps, and Galyana willed herself to stand still.
She laughed, "How do I look? Men have not been able to take their eyes off me when I went into the market this afternoon," she said, turning around in a seductive way for him to admire her, and perhaps she could distract him with another way.
He was a handsome man, and no man could resist such beauty. Taking him to bed would be her greatest achievement, for he had always caught her fancy from the very beginning.
